I had no complaint with regard to this location. The issue I encountered, was with the original rental location. I booked online to pick up the tow dolly at the Darthmouth Nova Scotia location, then called the location to ensure they had the item and were open till the posted hours. The representative I spoke with assured me they had a tow dolly and would be open till 7:pm. I arranged to have a truck in order to tow the car, but when we showed up at the original location, I was informed that the system had transferred my reservation to a different location, which would require US to backtrack and drive to the other location, which added significant time and fuel costs as well as wasting additional time of the people that were helping me with the move. If the original location had told me they did not have a unit i would have made additional plans to pick up the trailer from an alternate location.

I don’t understand why my order was so much more than it was supposed to be? I was told roughly around $160 and it came closer to $320...not impressed!! I have rented uhauls several times and driven it more than I did this time and paid less...why was it so much more this time??

Would be nice to have been told / informed that the speedometer was in MILES per hour, and Gas Gauge in GALLONS. Kilometer markings on the dash were too small to be readable while driving...Had to estimate continually the difference of 100 kilometres per hour vs 60 miles per hour. Made the trip with no tickets. lol

I would recommend a friend to just walk in and not call because the customer service is really really bad. I wished this would have been included in the survey as Not a single customer service I called was helpful or even respectable and they were rude even I try to be nicer they still are very rude.

one headlight was out drivers mirror was set too low and could not move it manually and could not find an electronic mirror adjuster on the inside. I was quoted 96.00 fot the distance I was going and when I went to get the truck it was 145.00. That is quite a discrepancy. I was told I could not return the truck to the uhaul agent at my destination so I would have to take the truck back to the pick up location and pay the extra mileage and gas.I have used u-haul a lot in the last year, this was the worst experience I have had, however I was just happy to get a truck on short notice and I will continue to use U- haul.

Nothing from the staff, they were very professional. The vehicles are great, but a location closer to Tantallon would be great. There are many communities with many people and even though it is not extremely far, it is far enough. I had to pay .69 cents a km which I think is ridiculous because they can get extremely costly, but to return it I had to pay for approx 18 of those km just to return the truck.

Only that the steering column in the ford model trucks is very sloppy, making driving in windy conditions difficult and stressful. Otherwise, we had a very good customer service experience.

Terrible service from the over the phone booking of a trailer that wasn’t even available, to sending me to a location that was closed, to not being able to locate the auto transport that I dropped off the same day I rented it. Now I get a email saying I owe for 4 days of rentals. Somebody should fix this as I’m a loyal uhaul customer and until this is resolved I will 100% boycott uhaul.

My Issue isn't with The Bedford location but the Dartmouth one. I went to the location to reserve a vehicle and the Idiot who took my information got it all wrong. After I went to pick it up they told me they contacted me informing me the vehicle was to be picked up at a separate location. When I told them I was upset since I had made the reservation a week prior, the woman I was dealing with made a note rudely, indicating that it was 6 day prior, not 7. (like it mattered in any way shape or form.) They literally thought my phone number was only 4 digits long. I was treated rudely, offered 0 option other than Driving across the city, which delayed my moving by hours, and I didn't get the vehicle I requested. I'm not using Uhaul again and will go to your competitors due to your piss poor customer service.

Longer hours or make it more clear what steps to take for after hours key drop off. The QR code didn’t work to give me instructions. Also, the vehicle I thought I ordered wasn’t the one I received.
