Pulled up and not a soul around. I parked my trailer ( or you trailer) in an empty spot. Unhooked it pushed back and chocked it. Walked in the office and stood around for a minute with all the employees looking at me. A uhaul representative finally said he'd check my trailer in. Kinda curious how he knew what I was bringing back unless they watched me, my spot wasn't in eye sight of the building. The uhaul rep was very nice but very slow service is the norm for this place.Howard M.
This was an unacceptable experience and I would not recommend this location to anyone. I returned my rented truck 2 hours early on the day it was supposed to be returned. I gave the keys to the Uhaul employee and I was told everything was finished. The next morning I get a phone call from the SAME employee I returned the keys to truck to the day before, asking me where the truck was? I then told the employee I returned it yesterday and he was the one I turned keys into. He then responded that he would take care of it. A few hours later I get an email receipt where I was charged for having the truck for 2 days instead of 1, charging me double the cost. I then had to drive back to the location and explain what happened, obviously requesting a refund. This all would have been avoided if your employee did their job. Not only was it an unacceptable experience, but pretty embarrassing on y'all's end. I would recommend making significant improvements in how your business is run.ERLING R.
Renting was a confusing experience for sure. It worked out but it took me almost 45 minutest to come in and leave and i was the only customer there. Then the return was almost an hour - very confusing. The staff were very nice and the facility was very clean. I am thankful still that UHaul helped me out and that I could rent a trailer.JENNIFER P.

Had to get one of the managers involved to handle a botched transaction that another worker done for me. He was on his cellphone multiple times when I came into the location listening to the phone ring off the hook. It was very unpleasant to deal with this but the manager made it right and told me that he was going to talk with this employee to prevent these situations from happening again in the future.MONICA N.

When I arrived to pick up my rental about 7:10 am, (I chose to complete my rental by my mobile device for this very reason) I logged into my U-haul account to complete my pick ( I was at the store where i reserved my rental) I was told I was at the wrong location, so I proceeded inside the store but the line was really long. So I saw an employee outside he was helping 2 men, I walked over and said good morning, the 2 men spoke, but the employee did not. I shrugged it off thinking he didn't hear me. When the employee made sure the guys were good to go I again approached the employee to make sure I was at the correct store, I said "Good morning" the employee says "Yeah"... I said good morning again he didn't say a word. So I just asked him was I in the right place and he says " Yeah"... That really pissed me off, But i shrugged it off as he's upset he has to work on a holiday. I proceeded to try and complete my rental once I was assured I was in the right location. When I get to where I still had to go inside, I walked inside the store, The general manager was on the phone, I waited until he was off the phone, the "General manager hangs up the phone AND HE DIDN'T ACKNOWLEDGE ME AT ALL!! He picks the phone back up and helped another guest. Once he finished that call he says " I GUESS YOUR'E HERE TO PICK UP THE KEYS!!!!??? Really. I've worked in guest services for a very long time and I know the first person that touches the guest sets the tone for that visit and future visits. That was very DISRESPECTFUL, I couldn't image being that "RUDE" to anyone, especially when they choose your company to do business with. That should have been taught at an early age. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THAT LOCATION EVER AGAIN AND I WILL INFORM ANYONE I KNOW WHO'S LOOKING TO USE U-HAUL For ANYTHING. My other issue is the the mileage , how can you charge by the mileage and it starts leaving your store. I chose 10 miles because where I was going to be driving the rental was only 2 minutes literally from my home, by the time i made it from your location to my home which is 3.2 miles from my home, I had less than 7 miles left to complete my trip without these extra fees. PLEASE FIX THESE PROBLEMS. I would have rather paid someone $500 to move me than to EVER have been this DISRESPECT!!!!!!Carmen L.

My PODS from u haul went "missing" in October 2020 and were not able to deliver until May 2021. U haul still required me to pay a monthly storage fee even though they could not deliver to the home let alone find them. If you do not pay the storage fee, 15 days after the due date they will put a lien on and shortly after confiscate your property. Asked if I could go to service center to just get my belonging and was told they are not there and to contact Scott Nelson the area manager. When I spoke with Scott my PODS where at dealer location Foley Custom Guns and was told I would have to have my attorney contact there attorney to get them. Scott and the owner of that property are friends and I am in a lawsuit with Foley Custom Guns. Only logical reason that they could not "find" in the Pensacola hub is Scott gave them to the dealer to help them with my lawsuit against them. Foley Custom Guns attorney had brought it up in mediation. Then after my attorneys contact Uhaul the pods show back up at the hub in Mobile which I being told is ran by Scotts wife. I was emailed in April and told my PODS are now in Mobile and come and get them, They finally delivered first part of May 2021 and I was charged for the delivery of them to the house. Needless to say but I am never ever using Uhaul againJason S.

Dropped trailer in Panama City, not Mobile. It's still there. It was damaged during a tornado that dropped a portion of a tree through the roof of the trailer while in motion. I took the trailer to Panama City, the nearest service center, per instructions from Uhaul Roadside assistance. The manager there instructed me to leave the trailer there, which was on April 10th, the day it was due for return.Tim B.

The facility and staff were very helpful and friendly. The vehicle I used was new and in excellent condition. I had an issue to the large key tag hitting my knee while driving and causing the key to turn the engine off. This happened multiple times while driving on the interstate. I finally had to remove the large Uhaul tag to prevent this from happening again. Thankfully I was able to handle the situation without incident. Hopefully Uhaul will look into this situation and remedy it before someone has an accident.Joaquin D.

The columns for the very large sign in the parking lot should be painted a high visibility color , something other than flat black . I almost backed into one of the columns as I was trying to maneuver your truck out of the parking spot it was in . Sometimes ,three mirrors isn't enough . When u r looking at one column in the mirror and u think it's the other column 10 feet away and directly behind your truck on a hazy morning . I was driving the truck and it would have been 100% my fault . Just a suggestion . Sometimes a little prevention is worth the effort I'm not the only moron driving your trucksJOHN D.

This company is a rip off, they gave me a truck with half a tank off gas in it, I filled it up to three forth full in good faith at they wouldn't even give me the difference back and this was my third truck rental this month. I needed a 10x15 storage space. The one I got was in an old storage building that had not been updated. The door was extremely hard to open and close. It needed a lot of lubrication. I was told at check-in that I needed a special lock for the door (which I already had) but it would not fit the slide-latch mechanism so I (fortunately) had a regular padlock with me that worked. When I mentioned this to the desk girl she said "oh yes, that's the old building. The new locks won't fit those doors."
