The staff were very professional and knowledgeable. However, using U-Haul in an increasingly annoying experience and I only use U-Haul if absolutely necessary. Each time I go it seems like you ask for more and more information. This time I was told I could not rent if I didn't give a second phone number. I just wanted to rent a car dolly and it felt like being in the doctor's office. I joked that the next thing will be a webcam on the computer and they will demand I let them take my photo. The whole system is just very, very annoying and if I had a better option I would use it. The last time I used U-Haul and gave you my cell number I suddenly started receiving phone calls for travel packages and the like. I am concerned that having given you my wife's cell phone number, she too will now start receiving cold calls for similar packages. Again, the staff at this location were great, but wow is it an annoying experience just to rent a car dolly for an afternoon.

The truck is in need for some SERIOUS maintenance. Trying to get up hills, even without it loaded, was a struggle and not to mention there was about 15 feet of play in the steering wheel. Other than that, it ran like a 20 foot U-Haul with 87K miles on it. The truck was super clean though. Everyone's attitude and ability to be flexible made over-looking that incredibly easy. This is a heck of a lot better experience than the last time we used you guys. I will specifically start using this store, even if we have to travel to do so. Thanks!

The general manager of the store was unprofessional. He made snide remarks to several customers. He was unwilling to wait on customers, as he was rude to several of them. The service was slow as customers had to wait for several minutes to be waited upon. No apologizes or explanation were given, no friendly customer service, no waiting areas.

The woman that handled my initial hook up and subsequent return the next day was EXCELENT!!!. She was so helpful and professional. She connected my trailer in the pouring rain with a smile on her face and a great attitude. The next day when returning the trailer was just the same. I will definitely use this location again. I went in on a Saturday and waited in like for well over an hour in line with only two employees taking care of customers.This is the city, not like a small town like Daphne or Fairhope, Alabama, you are always going to be busy on a Saturday in Mobile, Alabama. In addition I believe 30 miles is ridiculous. Most people don’t move to a new location down the street from their previous address. As far as my response to maintenance to the uhaul, I believe if you charge customers for the damage to the vehicle then you should actually repair the vehicle. I did not damage my rental, but noting the damage on the uhaul to ensure I was not blame/charged for any previous damage took a long time.
