The truck was in the very back. The employees were reluctant to help me find it. The furniture pads were not in the truck so I had to carry them across the lot on my own. I was there over 30 minutes before driving off, and it was supposed to be quick because I was using the app.

I rented a trailer, and returning was not what expected. I didn't think getting back to store after work hours that no-one would be there. And when dropping off the trailer there isn't a lock for it. Also the sign that says to return wasn't clear. It just mentioned 24 hours return, but wasn't clear that the 24 hours return mean, noone is there and the app is the way to return. When i was picking up trailer, the sales persons was helpful in helping me pick the right trailer, and i did save on cost. Also when returning i had a problem with the app and I called uhaul on the phone and spoke to someone who explained clearly what needed to get done to return the trailer and wasn't charged extra for being there after return time when using the app. All in all the trailer worked out for me. just needed a little more explanation of what to do for returning and knowing when store was closed.

Car was very clean, amazing condition. I have used U-Haul for several times for various reasons, because it is affordable. Nonetheless, my last experience was ok until I saw my fuel charges. I would appreciate if they are a bit careful when measuring the fuel and fees. It was over $40 extra charges and I had to call for a refund, case still pending for a resolution. It is a great company and good cars, just double check your receipt. : Thanks for your services. The staff at the location I picked up the car from was so amazing and caring! Thanks Jen

after completing online pickup process via cellphone at the pickup site I was instructed to go straight to the counter, skip the line and show the completed pickup process in the phone and request keys. I was told by a tall African American male with a beard that it is not how it works and that I had to go to the back of the line. 20 minutes later I was helped by a very professional CSR who quickly printed my papers and gave me the keys as well as instructed me to come to her next time I online pickup. Clearly her male counterpart is not trained and is not a good representation of your company. To add insult to injury I returned the vehicle prior to my agreement time and followed all the checkout procedures as instructed including placing the keys in the drop box only to receive a phone call after leaving the site asking me where the keys are. After explaining that I checked out online I was informed that the process was for after hours. I am wondering why that process is available during business hours if it’s used for after hours. I was under the presumption that it was designed also for efficiency and to speed up pick up and return. I am truly unhappy with today’s experience and most likely will never return uhaul.

I would not recommend anyone to come here. I was charged $25 for damage coverage after I reserved a truck without it. They brought me into the store the morning of the rental and redid the reservation adding the protection without asking. Then store manager told me I should have looked at me receipt and would not refund me. Don’t come here they are deceptive and terrible customer service

I got attitude from check out personnel when I disputed fuel charge. I did 30 and change miles and put 2 gallons of gas literally 5 minutes before dropping the truck off. Should be more than enough, I showed the receipt to your staff but they argue with me that "it does not matter". Zero help, max attitude. I have better things to do with my time than arguing about $10 or so with somebody that is getting paid for helping customers and does exact opposite. Gas meters you have in these trucks are not that accurate anyway. Next time I'm just booking a van from enterprise especially that you can't really count on equipment that you book.

I reserved a pick up truck and was told they didn’t have it. I was forced to rent a 10ft truck for double the price

The moving pads I reserved were not in the truck. When I noticed, the Bensonhurst rep told be to tell the Binghamton rep when returning the truck that they were missing and that he would credit me there. When I got to Binghamton the rep there said I had to get the reimbursement from Bensonhurst. When I then called Binghamton today the refund was put through. Also, we were told that we had to stay off Parkways and the Brooklyn bridge. Standard GPS was frustrating because it kept steering us towards parkways. I discovered later that there are many free truck-specific GPS systems available. Perhaps this would be a good things to suggest to your customers?

Lets try to have people at the front desk who are personable at the bare minimum not people who are texting and playing games on their phones while speaking to you. Lets also try not to have a miserable person working the lot who has an extremely bad attitude and tried to scold me for trying to park the van i borrowed in the back of the lot as discussed by the front desk employees. Great equipnent great vehicles absolutely dreadful people.

1- A little better customer service would be nice. Moving is overwhelming and very serious staff brings more tension. Had a little trouble identifying the truck assigned to me. 2- It’d be great to have some discounts on packing materials given that the actual costs to rent the truck in my case was over $300. 3- The estimated costs at reservation was only about $180 but ended up paying over $280 and the extra costs were not explained.

The manager did an EXCELLENT job of taking care of me. The rest of the staff was not helpful and attempted to force me to drive away to resolve my problems on my own... Manager gets 10 stars out of 10 stars!!!! She was awesome!!!

The gas report was inaccurate. It said there was 5/16 of a tank but when I got in there was about 1/8. I had to put in 7 gallons even though I only went 27 miles.

I needed furniture dollies but they were not available for rent. It might ruin the whole process of moving. Other than that everything was perfect - personnel was very friendly and knowledgeable, desired size of the truck was provided, furniture pads/blankets were clean and neatly packed.

They didn't have furniture dollies and we'd reserved and paid for 2 online. They told me I had to ask for a refund when I dropped the truck off at a different location, only when I got to the other location to drop it off that location said that was incorrect and they should have done it on the pick up end resulting in a delay in getting refunded. Also, the guy there wouldn't originally give us the key because the driver name (different person driving) was different than the person who made the order even though we were both there in person ready with IDs to pick it all up. We'd done this all before in the past with no problem. Was not a smooth start.

Dropped my truck off past business hours and they gave me a bill with the wrong gas reading and the wrong mileage count. It appears they rented the truvk out and never documented any readings when I returned it. The issue is still not resolved, but thankfully I took a picture with the timestamp showing my mileage and proper gas level.

I told them I want 10’ truck. But they told me not available. I also told them can I drop the truck to my nearest location. They said no. Ok, that is fine, then I got a cargo van. But it is too small. I went back there again. Now 10’ truck is available , it is not even 3 minutes when I left.

Was given a van that could not be dropped off at a different location without paying a fine of over $200. Why would a van like this even exist? I have moved from one country to another using a Uhaul and dropped it off at my destination, yet this time moving within the same city I was forced to drive the van back to its pickup location, wasting hours of time in addition to useless fuel burning and wear and tear on the vehicle. This quite frankly has left me never wanting to use your services again, ever.

If you gonna offer self pick up, then the truck should not be jammed in between 2 other trucks and the key should be available outside. Cause you do all the steps on the phone but then have to walk inside and wait in line for the key. Defeats the purpose.

I've been a uhaul customer for close to 40yrs., this is by far THE WORST MANAGED and Worst experience I have ever had in my life. Will never use Uhaul AGAIN, they lost a Good Customer!

Hire professional people. We picked up ubox from your Port Richmond, SI location. Your staff did not tighten the locking mechanism on the trailer, and it fell off hitch, causing thousands of dollars in damage, to furniture and refrigerator. Took your roadside assistance department over 45 minutes to dispatch anyone to render aid, even though this happened less than 8 blocks from your New Utrecht Ave., Brooklyn location. To make matters worse, up on returning the rented truck and Ubox to New Utrecht Ave at 740 pm staff refused to let my son in to make the return. Upon exiting the office one of your workers attempted to hit my son ( A NY State law enforcement officer) with his car. Not smart! I've been a Uhaul customer for close to 40yrs. WILL NEVER use you again, and will bad mouth this location and your lack of professionalism at every chance I get!!!

I’m a regular customer in this location, at 8:40 am today I got a truck to move some staff from downtown Brooklyn, on exit 24 Atlantic ave I had a check engine light on the dashboard, I tried to call them with no answer, so to avoid any problem while moving I came back to the location at 10:00 am to inform them what happened, employees were not professional at all and so rude, she didn’t even listen to what happened and when I tried to explain why I returned it she start yelling at me and shouting in front of everyone and she told someone that “he thinks I’m his wife to talk to me like that”, after that she throw a business card on the desk and told me to call the manager if I need anything and she asked me loudly to step out of the store...and she add the miles on the receipt and deducted the money from my debit card. I have her name on the receipt . I hope you can solve this issue as soon as you can Thank you
