I have never experienced such poor communication and poor customer service with a business in our region. The transition from Jeff MacDonald to UHaul was mismanaged and lacked utter communication. Jeff and his family provided excellent customer service – they were approachable and put their customers first. I have experienced disrespect, rudeness, and have been locked out of my storage unit TWICE with no notification. I needed to rent a unit during a very difficult period of time in my life which was very stressful and the level of poor customer service compounded my decision to seek business elsewhere. The first time I was blocked from my unit was because UHaul did not mark my account as paid in full. The second time I was locked out of my locker (and I have NEVER missed a payment), I was not notified to come to the office to receive a key to open the lock they placed on it. It was extremely frustrating trying to access my belongings which included my total household. Any attempt to contact the office/customer service was more than poor – it is very, very difficult to contact someone when I needed help or clarification about a notification. Whenever I have talked to someone over the phone or in the office, I was shocked by the lack of service and respect. I will never recommend this business to anyone seeking a storage unit. Customer service and communication needs to be reviewed.

Lisa W. | Overall ExperienceVery poor. Was robbed. U-Haul took no responsibility. Extremely poor leadership from Brandon by doing literally nothing after learning multiple units were broken into. I asked for a refund for the final month due to being robbed and was just told no with no explanation as to why. Eventually he will run out of customers to screw over. Suggest replacing this team in Truro as they are out of touch with how to manage a business.
CORY JAMES P. | Overall ExperienceI had problems with uhaul storage in the past which is why i rented from a non uhaul company. when uhaul purchased this rental property i made arrangements to move my things out as i was not willing to risk being ripped off again. In regards to being ripped off in the past I am still waiting for the refund they promised me almost 4 years ago. I would never recommend uhal to anyone and have done my best to convince friends to look elsewhere for truck rental and storage facilities.
