I scheduled 2 weeks prior to pick up at Vestal Location. Well I showed up on my scheduled time to find out my trailer wasn’t there. I then had to travel further from home and pick up in Binghamton. And then told I have to return to Binghamton. My scheduled departure time was delayed and my return time was extended. I would expect to be given a inconvenience deduction from bill as I did nothing wrong. Seems as nobody at UHaul gives a crap. This will be my last rental from there and will use your competitor next time. Reservations are kept on my end…… but not yours!

Received an E-Alert that delayed me getting my rental by 2 hours. Was on hold for over 30 minutes, all because an alert from 4 months ago was never removed.

I was originally charged 67.06 day of rental … for a 10 ft van for 24 hrs … this was a in town rental delivering back to same location. …I then returned the truck and was then charged another 43.56 in day of return ( which was 6 hrs earlier than expected time of return ) called to ask what the charge was for The employee that answered the phone took my phone number and said that the manager would call me back and I never received a call nor an explanation for the added almost $44 charge….. Very disappointed will look for other van rentals that I will need in the future other than U-Haul

An associate has provided with a connector to my vehicle for free, appreciate. The only thing I would improve that location is to set up a box for returned small equipment like a connector I mentioned. Not many trucks are equipped with a trailer 4 pins connector, most have a standard camper like round electrical entrance.

Normally this location was fine (I've used it before). But this time the trailer was not tightened onto my tow ball and became disconnected from my car a block away, slamming into the back of my car (fortunately it was the tongue into my suspension), jamming the hitch under my suspension. I had to jack up the car to remove the trailer. After determining there was no damage, I reconnected the trailer to my hitch and drove (carefully) home. Once home I verified everything was correct and undamaged. I then loaded the trailer and went to my destination the next day.

We dropped off here and they were closed, so I'm basing the personnel question off of numerous past experiences. The staff here has always been phenomenal and when we dropped off the truck we rented out in Irving NY, they had tons of vehicles there. Just be mindful of the underpasses when you're in the 26' truck, which has a 12' clearance and is too tall for the city's underpasses. Getting in and out of the First Ward required some planning.

Great experience, good truck (15 foot). Helpful staff. I wish they had a trailer that was a little bit lighter because I was towing a small car (I needed the full trailer, not the tow-dolly), so it was unneccesary extra weight which made the attachment/dettachment more difficult and cost me more fuel. But no complaints from me and overall very happy with Uhaul!

I went in the store to change the driver on my reservation and when I returned the truck I discovered it was still under the old driver. I was also told my deposit would be given back immediately and how I’m being told 3-5 business days

Need to make sure the gas is at least on half instead of getting it below 1/4 tank and spending more to put it up to almost a 1/2 of a tank then return it on just under 1/4 of tank to be told you weren't getting reimbursed because it was wasn't on a 1/4 tank. I argued with the guy it wasn't even on a 1/4 tank received it, it was under the mark.

Bees nest on the truck made it impossible for me to help load due to an allergy, this caused us to take an extra day to move because I wasn’t about to end up in the hospital over it. The inside of the truck was covered with glass, as well as on the pull-out ramp. It got stuck to several of the box bottoms and ended up in my new apartment, resulting in a gash on the bottom of my foot and missing a day of work. U-Haul cost me extra money all around due to their negligence in taking care of their trucks. Absolutely the worst moving experience I have ever had.

I had reserved a trailer at one location and then gotten a call that it was being moved. Pickup time did not change but the new location closed at 5. I was supposed to pick up the trailer at 6 pm. Called U-Haul and got help finding another trailer of the same specs even closer to me, which was this location. When I was going to be running about an hour or two late at the end of the day, this location was helpful and I was able to extend the return time to late evening. Would go there again.

The people at the 113 Chenango Street where excellent. They helped us and gave us suggestion on how to use it. The only update I would think of is, if there is no service charge for dropping off the equipment after hours. And the return process from Mobile app is too long. If you can make this short it would be great. Clicking the photos when there is SUN in opposite direction you can't take photos due to glare on dashboard.

Eric did an amazing job. Eric took time to explain what would take place and walk around the car with me. This made me feel more comfortable adding a hitch for towing of a pop up camper. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience of the installation but I can say if I need another hitch for any reason, I will reach out to Uhaul to see if Eric is available. Next up will be to put the hitch to the test and see how it works with my pop up camper.

This was an absolute shit show. It was not this locations fault but I almost had to reschedule my move in date because uhaul guaranteed me a uhaul at a location and it was not there and ready. Thankfully binghamton uhaul could help me. I was told the endicott worker walked out on Friday and no one could help us at the location uhaul switched me to from Johnson city. Worst moving experience. Uhaul sucks. Never again.

My prior U-Haul rental experiences at various locations were mixed - some ok and some not. So I haven’t used U-Haul in a while. This time my experience at the Binghamton Chenango St. location was excellent. The person (wish I knew his name) who took care of the pick-up and return was excellent- professional, efficient, answered all questions and was very nice. The vehicle was clean and had no problems. Will definitely rent from U-Haul, and this location again and will recommend.

This facility kept my things secure but also had homeless people frequently staying inside of the storage facility. On our move out day we saw a couple bringing suitcases into the storage facility and no one from Uhaul did anything about it. I am thankful for having the space to store my things for a few months but based on this experience I most likely will not be back.

Mouse/ roach poison traps all over, door not securely shut, elevator dirty, tiny, and full of cobwebs, and storage rooms not secure. I never ended up moving my stuff in because the space was not safe.

The unit that I rented could have been cleaned better before I moved my things in. Simply sweeping the floor would have helped this unit look more appealing to me at first glance. I will make sure that I clean my unit before I turn over the rental to a new person.

Well firstly I moved out of my storage on 3/1/23 and it’s says I moved out on the 5th which is not true at all . They tried to charge me for the month and a late fee when I was already moved out . Move in was okay but when I was alone in the facility days later their was a clearly drunk and high man walking around watching me . The door to the building does not close unless you slam it shut . The unit is big but not clean and it’s open at the top so literally anyone can break in if they climbed over it . I was told I would be given a lock which I paid for and there was no lock inside my unit when I arrived . Elevator has been broken for weeks so imagine trying to move out going down 3 flights of steps alone with spiders right above you’re head . Overall not a great experience and I’d only rent again if I absolutely had to .

I found the storage unit to be to small and the ceiling as damaged! I cancelled the storage space yesterday after I left the location and spoke to Lisa a representative and now received this text message. I did not move in, but I would still recommend Uhaul. Now I have been waiting almost 1/2 hour for customer service to confirm my constellation.

After making a reservation one month before and leaving my credit card, I arrived to find out u had no units left. After carrying on that I wasn’t leaving after I had a reservation they found me a unit and charged me for a larger space then I originally booked!!!!! Get rid of the rat traps every five feet and rat poison in the hallways. Doesn’t make for a warm and fuzzy atmosphere!!!!! Why take reservations when they clearly mean nothing!!!!!

Height of the rooms is very helpful. An awning over the doors would be useful for when it rains. The metal grating over the drain needs to be much stronger to withstand carts full of heavy items. It was hard to roll over it.
