The original location I booked with was Hideaway Storage in Palmetto, Fl. The app wouldn't work and there was Moines available to assist me. Spent one hour trying to get someone to help. Had to change locations for pick up which was further away and due to the issues I was an hour late to pick up my order. Once I got to the second location, the you g lady clearly wasn't happy and the store was under staffed. She was very Kurt and somewhat rude and I had to wait an additional 20 minutes to get the van. With all the delays and going to a different location not only was I late 1 hour and 30 mins, it cost me additional money in fuel and a missed appointment which is $100 loss in income. I'm extremely disappointed and not sure that I would ever rent another uhaul. Worst experience I've ever had renting a vehicle Please feel free to reach me via email at bcarp0707@gmail.com

Carmen at 14th St U-Haul Bradenton was very helpful and professional.My only complaint is that the mileage rates are WAY TO HIGH.I doubt that I would ever rent from U-Haul again.To rent a 10 ft truck for about 6 hrs.cost me $140.00 not including gas .

My last rental at this location in May was terrible! I must say this time was it was great! I swore after my last visit I would never use this location. I gave it another shot and I must say it was 100% better. The staff was friendly this time and the rental process went great.

A semi truck dropping off pods blocked the only entrance to drop off our 26' u haul. It was difficult to maneuver through the exit to drop it off. The manager was busy driving a forklift instead of making the semi move elsewhere. My drop off was planned, yet the semi had priority over my return.

It was pretty far away from me and it cost extra to drive it back to the location. About 15 extra miles.

We were very disappointed to see that not a single employee was wearing a mask. Not the folks inside, or outside, or when we picked up the truck, or when we dropped it off. Everybody was extremely friendly and helpful and professional, but I was astounded that not a single employee we encountered was wearing a mask. This is the second weekend in a row we've used trucks from this location and we experienced the same thing both weekends.

The boxes were 8 days late and I received absolutely no updates from uhaul or a reason why. I had to call every time to get an update. That is terrible customer service.

Actually, everyone is very nice. I wouldn't change a thing. The motorcycle trailer I rented was, thankfully, available and was perfect for my cycle. I have a big motorcycle and it was a little difficult to get the bike on the trailer. It wouldn't start so I had to push it on and after several attempts I had to call someone to help me. But all-in-all it worked fine.

The staff was wonderful. The parking lot was ok, but a rental truck was in the way for me to exit the lot and no one really seemed very concerned about moving it until the customer renting it finished her transaction and came to drive away. It was fine, but I would suggest parking then where there is plenty of room for other customers to maneuver. An associate came to my car and was going to help me maneuver safely around it, but then the customer showed up to drive away.

my empty u box not ready for pick up had to wait about 1 hour. when i wanted to pick up my full u box, i called saturday afternoon to give notice for me to pick up on momday at 7am. they told me call back on sunday at 8am they couldn't find my contract, said they would call me wright back., at10:30 am i called them back and was told 12 noon on monday for pickup. monday morning i got a call saying i could pick my box at 10:00 am. which i did. the people i talked to were friendly, but needed more training.

The equipment, a 4x8, enclosed trailer, was very old and dinged up, paint fading, etc. When towing it was very loud on the road, to the point you could hardly talk in the car. Sounded like there were some bearing or axle issues which I reported when I turned it in. The rear top running lights did not work. I was really disappointed. Didn't seem like this was up to the usual U-Haul standards. That unit needs to refurbished or retired.

The gentleman who hook up my trailer did not tighten down the trailer to the ball hitch and it was slipping and bouncing around the entire time. Very dangerous and could have caused serious damage or death. This cannot happens again and recommend either to retrain employe or terminate. However the guy who received my trailer when I returned was amazing. Older guy I believe his name was rick

I was offered moving helpers and was told I would get a call to setup a time. I called the number I received in an email and left a message. I waited two hours on some help which I never received. I was cleaning out my dad's condo after he passed away and would not have rented the truck had I known I would not be receiving any help. I will get another moving truck next week but it will not be from unsullied. A company is only as good as the people that work for them. When you offer a service and don't deliver that tells me your customer service team has a lack of character!!!

Clean your vehicles. Your sign says all vehicles are cleaned to protect against COVID19. I have rented 2 vehicles on separate occasions and both rentals were dusty and sticky. I had to peal my skin off of every surface. Steering wheel, door handles, armrests... not safe or sanitary. I had to wipe down with disinfectant wipes. Not my job!

Worst service ever, very chaotic place , no organization, truck was disgusting and was overcharged by 3 days. In order to get back what they basically stole from me I have to wait an investigation period which is 72 hours to even see if they will give the extra amount that was stolen out of my acct.

Couldn't use the equipment because the gate too small and returned it but they wouldn't help me get a trailer that would work unless I paid full price. They advertise 6 ft. wide when realty it's the opening is not even 5 ft.

We initially rented via mobile app to pick up the truck at the 15th St E location in Bradenton. We arrived to find our truck was blocked in by three other trucks and nobody was in the office because it was Sunday. After 45 mins and trying to find someone on the phone to help us, we finally got a human who's only choice was to send us to a different location to pick up another truck. The 14th St Bradenton location was extremely busy with approximately an hour wait to even get help from someone. We did not have that much time as we had already lost an hour (with our moving crews sitting and waiting for us to arrive with a truck). We attempted the mobile app at that location and was able to get a truck without any human intervention except for help with getting the key. While we were there, a female employee was cleaning the trucks, speeding through the parking lot with the company trucks, throwing equipment everyone, yelling, raising her voice to customers who were bothering her with questions, slamming truck doors, hitting curbs when parking the vehicles and treating everyone around her with disrespect. She sent an older lady away after yelling at her that she doesn't do that job and can't answer her questions. My husband took the elderly lady through the parking lot to help her find her truck. I have never witnessed such disrespect from a company as big as UHaul. We lost time, money, and witnessed horrible customer relations. I hate giving these types of reviews, but this was a horrible experience. The only positive thing was the lady on the phone that redirected us to a new location to get a truck. She was extremely apologetic and almost embarrassed that we were put in this position. I wish I knew her name. Our rental date was 9/27/2020. If the disrespectful lady at the 14th St location does not change her ways, one of these days she will likely hurt someone. It was that bad!!!

returning the truck was a nightmare. so many trucks blocking the street. we were sitting in the actual street..causing traffic to back up. only 2 workers. waited over 1 hr to get my storage number to unload n return the truck. a mess. the employee who did finally get a chance to help me was so nice ..he was quick n very helpful. they only had two workers there . i think about 10 maybe 15 trucks there waiting to get returned. lines to pick up trucks was over n hr. def need more workers .

This truck smelled so bad of cigarettes, to the point I had to empty the completely full ash tray! It clearly had not been cleaned. The gas gage also seems questionable, after putting in more then $30 worth of gas, it barely moved the needle. The truck itself got the job done, but definitely wouldn't recommend their trucks since cleanliness especially during a pandemic clearly isn't a priority to this location.

The unit was extremely moist and all of our belongings had an excessive amount of mold on them. The reason we wanted inside climate controlled storage was to avoid damage like this our property. I will never use uhaul again and will never recommend uhaul to anyone i know and like.

The first unit had a latch that didn't work (and had a tag that said so along with Do Not Rent). They quickly set me up with a different unit and everything was fine. The off-loading area was covered and convenient to the elevator, so I was able to unload my 16' truck within a couple of hours.

All thought the facility is listed as 24 hour access, the storage facility is only accessible during the business hours for the truck rentals. Both times I have gone to access stuff into storage, I have had to go to the rental office wait in line and ask that the storage be opened as the access codes for the doors do not work. The office staff is less than happy about having to walk over to the storage to open it, the last time taking more than 30 minutes to come and open it. The unit has a large rat trap sitting in it, not what I would expect a unit ready to rent should have.

We had 1 ubox that was not strapped to the trailer and was missing the ramp. We were blamed for them being missing. Another ubox had the cover on backwards so we had to improvise to get the door open.

I do not know the condition of the location, I did not go there. My boxes went to the incorrect location though! I would have had to pay additional mileage if the mover wouldn’t have been so helpful.
