So when I returned on Monday morning I read an ad on the elevator that state use our disposal dumpster for a fee. So I approach the same lady from Sunday about this all of a sudden you have a disposal. Wasted a day because of this! Would have been done Sunday .

NEKTARIOS KThe 26 foot U-Haul truck broke down three times. Rose that assistance had to be called and my move went from three hours to 5 1/2 hours due to the waiting times of the maintenance truck and I was overcharged $120 by my movers due the negligence of the truck.
ASHLEY BI reserved a utility Dolly 7 days in advance and there wasn’t one available when I arrived for my pick up so I had to settle for an appliance dolly , which is much bigger and too bulky!!

Mateo P | First ImpressionsI had an incident where the key was not unlocking the lock used to lock the back of the U-haul track that sometimes come with the U-haul. I outreached the customer representative line and was informed that U-haul does not offer the lock as part of their services/feature and the U-haul location happen to inherit this when they received the U-haul truck. If U-haul does not offer this service/additional feature then they should remove all locks and lock key from the car the keychain before giving it to customers. Luckily, I was testing it before I locked the back so, I avoided a crisis where I would have had to buy a bolt cutter. Moving is already stressful as it is, U-haul can improve the experience by insuring the key/locks works or remove it all together.
MISTEAD EThe suspension was worn down causing the trucks alignment to be off centered making it hard to drive a trailer with the truck because it would pull yo the right. The truck also had a tpms light flashing and a broken sunvisor that was in the way of my vision while driving. The people were nice but the equipment was over due for maintance.

mary Mfrom the moment i walked in to that uhaul, it was Terrible service. I had to go disrupt dude who I believe is the manager from his office as he was watching a basketball game on his phone. I escorted myself up to the office because the guy at the counter was sleeping. The dude in the office had to come down and wake him up.. very professional. After that the dude started my rental agreement and proceeded to call me a "Smart Ass" all because I had ask him when uhaul had started implementing that us customer had to take a selfie in order to rent a van. his answer was "RIGHT NOW" . I asked because he didnt explain anything to me and just handed me a cellphone and said take a selfie. i was a little confused and said no. so he tried giving me my id back. what he shouldve done is explain the new policy not call me out of my name and tell me to fuck off. i get no one wants to work on sundays but that should be no reason to treat customer like that.

BRIANNA PWhen a customer is picking up a truck or any rental vehicle. I feel that the customer should at least have a half a tank of gas. Cause I picked up my truck Thursday afternoon and it barely had any gas for me to use it for my reservation. Then y'all make it a policy to bring back the truck where gas hand was and I feel there’s not right the customer that has to go through that to fill up the tank on their time of the reservation when they can be doing the things that they reserved the vehicle for. But overall the truck was clean and well maintained.

I had movers and I had to pay them extra because we were on a schedule. I waited a whole hour and a half to get my furniture and nobody compensated me for the hour and half that I wasted with movers waiting for them to find the Ubox.

DARNELL SThere were 3 people that I seen there. Two were up front and one was in the back. I did a mobile pickup and asked the lady if she could give me the keys since the app said just show them. She looked on the wall where the keys were and then said I would have to wait in line. After I waited in line I spoke with a man who also looked on the wall and stated he couldn’t find them. He was then going to put me in another 10’ truck but couldn’t find those keys either. He went and spoke to the 3rd person who was in the back of the store and they both proceeded to go back outside. The 3rd person came back in without the guy who was initially helping me, went to the wall with the keys and picked out the keys to my original truck. The key was literally the first pair in the middle of the wall. I waited almost 30 mins when I did an online pickup all because 2 people overlooked a key that was dead in their face.

Rough riding, noisy, manual windows and locks, no usb outlet. Left lower rear view window needs to be repaired or replaced — a safety issue. Good tires, ran good, except doesn’t shift easily from 2nd to 3rd in tow mode. Would be nice to have a backup camera. Heater worked well.

It stopped on floors and remained closed, but continued. It also shock violently causing some concern that it would cease to continue and you would be stuck inside. Otherwise then that experience, I would recommend it to others.

I hired moving help and while the “system” was down and kept crashing and moving slow my movers were on the clock. I had to pay for another hour because time was wasted in the store alone. U-Haul got NO information correct. I was told one thing over the phone and upon arrival it was something else. I reserved a specific truck and then I was told it was given to someone else. I reserved a first floor unit and I was told it was rented out to someone else. This was a complete inconvenience to my moving process and I am NOT a happy customer. Never again!

It was recommended I try a different location out in Markham; however I quickly ran out the door after I noticed considerable evidence of rodents because rodents did a number & destroyed everything at another rival storage facility 🙁. Though I saw rodent traps were put out at a different facility I decided to store items, I was proud to see a cleaning lady that helps maintain the grounds. I bought insurance & was assured it covers up to $1,000 by rodents. Let's hope I never have an issue w/ rodents! I also noticed ants that appear to be coming from cracks in the foundation so I hope there's regular pest control measures in place to keep ants away too🚫🐜🐹

The issue is that the person that worked the day i moved in didn’t check me in properly or give me a U-Haul max card. This was a huge inconvenience because after loading the elevator with all my items the elevator didn’t move so I had to leave my items in the elevator so she can give me access to the elevator. The next day I came back and had no access to the elevator. But this time a guy checked me in properly and gave me a U-Haul max card and explained the check in properly.
Shantiera C | Online Move InWe reserved a truck and a storage pickup for 2pm, got there on time didn’t leave til 3pm waiting on the check in process and truck, come back to put our things in storage they told us we don’t have one reserved when i had the reservation on paper, had to get a bigger storage (more money), no carts were available for free or to rent, so we had to carry stuff from the truck to the elevator and to the storage unit which was really far. Only to get to the storage unit and it was already occupied! Had to go back downstairs to get assigned to another storage and move the things from the already used storage to the new one. This process took up hours of our truck rental time. One worker was helpful but everyone else was rude and clueless!

Had to get another unit that was larger and I was charged for the first month when told I was getting 30 days free. Was given a credit back and I think I deserve two months free. Chardonney C | First ImpressionsI was never told that the access hours wasn’t 24-7. I was unloading after moving all day. I started about 8.40p and was heavily delayed as there wasn’t enough carts or other equipment to move items upstairs where my unit was located; After finishing taking several loads up, I had been delayed further as the elevators were extremely slow. At the 10pm mark not realizing that the access changed, I went back to the elevator to go back down to get my last load and waited on the elevator for 15 minutes. I then called for assistance but no one ever responded. I walk down from 3rd floor through the stairs and the hallway was completely dark. I missed a step and fell. I got outside realizing I hadn’t lock my unit but upon trying to go up and close/lock my unit, I never could. I had to get up early the next morning and get there as soon as it open having concerns with my unit being open and needed to finishing unloading still needing to turn in my uhaul truck.

They gave me a storage that was occupied by someone else. (4648) I then retain another unit and informed them which unit it was. They never made the correction, so I was forced to pay $200 for a unit I never had and my unit was only $95 plus $10 for insurance. I informed the personal several times in person and by phone that the had me under the wrong unit. Everytime they said they'll correct it, but never did. So basically I was paying someone else storage bill. Then when I went to move out my storage they had the audacity to have a lock on it, but said my storage was listed as unoccupied, so if that's the case WHY DID THEY HAVE A LOCK ON TOP OF MY LOCK?? Smh. I will never use that particular Uhaul storage again (BRIDGEPORT)

This delayed the emptying of the unit by one hour, and I had to hire the movers for an extra hour. When I asked the lady at the desk for compensation, she was unwilling to offer me any. I have had this storage unit for almost two years and regularly paid my dues on time. I expect much more professional and efficient service from a big company like U-Haul.

Saved my back from moving to the 3rd floor! 😀 2- I rented a van for my small items that I needed an extra day. The staff was really nice. 3rd- 2 young men are the reason I would return. One of them stayed on the phone with me 10 minutes while I waited for my daughter to bring my keys. That was really nice. The other young man was friendly, helpful and answered all my questions and made me laugh even when I was scared when I saw the mouse trap. No mice came home with me. They did when I used another company. Great job Pershing Uhaul!!! I'll see You all again on my next adventure!😀
