The location was clean but not â€œinvitingâ€. A sign at the front of the bldg stated â€œStop your vehicle here, someone will be out to assist youâ€. No one came out to assist! The service rep said â€œYeah, I don't know why that sign is there, we never go out there.â€ The Service rep was abrupt and not the least bit interested in hearing what I had to say about the truck. I told him that I was returning the two utility dollies that I had rented and that they were both in the back of the truck. He said â€œYeah, yeahâ€, OKâ€. But never went to check.Bruce T.

This was a horrible experience! I begged to pick up at the location where my storage area was, but â€˜my request couldn't be fulfilled'. So I had to make an extra stop on a super stressful moving day, only to find that there was some â€œissue with the systemâ€ that caused a 45 Min delay because â€œthe truck can't be released to you even though it's in your name alreadyâ€. Then, this location didn't have the moving dollies I reserved with my order. Absolute nightmare. Already called two friends I know who are moving and told them how horrible my experience was, and I think luckily they're going with different companies.JACOB H.

I called on the phone listed on an email I received from storage and asked whether I should make a reservation of elevator or anything else for moving out, he responded with "Did you need to do that before?" I told him that it seemed that there is an attitude, then he told me that no reservation is necessary. Also, UHaul should be more selective on listing Moving Help companies other than a disclaimer.YUANBING M.

I was given a van with a busted window/panel it was tape on the window. And if you Lyft the tape you can reach in the van. In the event my sons shoes and clothes was stolen out the van. The respenative who gave me the van state any damages prior to taking the van. And I can't understand with all the money u hail make why would you rent a van to someone with no window. We had to walk from the uhaul store to the truck over a block away and check the numbers on each uhaul truck to find the truck with our number on it and drive it around to the store for them to load the boxes we purchased. I feel that the truck should have been located and brought around to the front of the store. I'm 78 and walking over a block is a big deal for me.Larry S.

My original rental for 24-hour at another site was switched to 8-hour rental from 8am to 4pm, for sake to rent out to another person (U-Haul greed). Pickup time was 8am, yet the site opens at 9am..shameful. This site's representative Anthony was super nice to come at 8:09am Sunday & opened door for rental. By 5:08pm, past the 5pm close time, he was still there & charge me only 1 day for fairness.WARNER W.

I went to this U-Haul to purchase some addition pads for my move and the machine was down. The employee proceeded to put my credit card info down with her personal phone. When my mother asked what was going on, one of the employee started to yell at her very very aggressively. She told her to shut up and just go to another store!! My mother was so in shock she started to cry!! This employee was very loud and hostile to us both. We just didn’t not understand why she would be putting my credit info in her phone; that was the only question we asked. Also we were terrified for our lives because NO ONE at this location wore a mask except for my mom and I during my entire experience!!! So ALARMING!!!!!!! This behavior is very very very unacceptable due COVID-19 killing people and my mom having underling health issues!!!!!!!!. You’re staff put my mom and I at risk in addition to the belligerent behavior of your employee ( I think she was a manager). Lastly, I spoke to someone at this location two days prior to my move-in a safe said that my unit was available on the first floor which was imperative, I even told her that I could pay ahead of time, but she said pay on Saturday when I arrive. When I arrived my u it had been moved to the 3rd floor which caused me to spend more money with the movers . She said that she thought that I would not mind because the 3rd floor had air conditioning, but actually I did mind; the decision caused me to spend more money considering I was moved to the 3rd floor and across the building!!!!! I would have went to another U-Haul if I knew this was a possibility!!! Nevertheless, please contact me with a follow up call. His name is Anthony and he works at the 2600 S. LaSalle St. in Chicago. He made what could have been very difficult and frustrating a carefree experience for a single, senior female.
