Originally made my reservation a few days prior to usage date (Federal Holiday) - when making reservation, what I wanted wasn't available, and the website said that a customer representative would call me. Nobody did. I received a text message that my reservation would be at the Florence, NJ location. Upon arrival, the GM at Florence was very kind and tried his best. Unfortunately, the tow dolly that he had was not compatible with my needs (according to the computer). He tried calling several other locations and corporate to assist me, and due to it being a holiday, most locations were closed or did not answer. Eventually, he got ahold of somebody from corporate, asked why would they send me to him if they knew his equipment wouldn't fit my needs, and corporate sent me to this location (claiming I would get an email confirmation, which I didn't receive). Upon arrival to this location, the worker was uninformed by corporate that I was coming, but luckily had no problem assisting me. This review is a praise for the workers of the Florence and Burlington locations, and a ding on corporate, who dropped the ball on my reservation at each step. I greatly appreciate the individuals who were able to assist me on a federal holiday.

Although there were a few issues with my truck rental, and arranging the storage unit with the representative on the phone, once Kevin (from Florence) and Christine (from Burlington) got involved, the process was incredibly smooth. We even got more than what we were expecting!

Very unhappy I use the truck it stopped on me two times how to use jumping cables ask other people for jumping cables went back to the location and the young man said that they do not have cables and I had to call customer service and now I brung the truck back on time and charge me $12 worth of gas very unhappy my number is 908-422-9049 truck number Tm387le would like some type of discount cuz it was an inconvenience my bill was $68 and some change

My experience changed how I felt about Uhaul. I will never rent from U-Haul again. The customer service representatives are sneaky Liars who leave people stranded and try to blame them for renting out raggedy equipment that is unsafe and should not be on the road. Someone should be in prison for condition of your trucks

I reserved in Florence but had to go to Burlington to pick up truck almost 10 miles out of my they would not even let me return the truck to Florence had to go back to Burlington another 10 miles out of my way put gas in truck before we returned the truck the same amount as what was in there when we picked it up and they still charged me another 10 dollars for gas so I am not happy and will never use your services again and will not recommend you to any one

I scheduled my uhaul 2 weeks in advance. I was never contacted about the rental. I scheduled the uhaul for 12 pm. When I called the original drop off location, they had no idea about a uhaul being picked up. After being transferred around 4 times when I called uhaul, they told me my rental was never scheduled even though I paid $200 plus dollars 2 weeks in advance and Luckily a truck was available 20 minutes away from the original pick up location or I would not have had a truck to move my stuff. The whole experience was terrible as far as getting my truck scheduled. I would not recommend uhaul to anyone If they have other options. And if any one does use uhaul, be sure to call them way ahead of time cause they Probably not call or schedule your truck.

Gave us wrong code to the lock could not get in the truck. Truck was dirty had sticky stuff spilled all inside. Trucks bumper was coming off missing paint on hood. Truck was in poor condition.

Everything that could have gone wrong with my reservation went wrong. Uhaul changed my pickup location 3 times in 24 hours. It turns out that a lot of people are moving away from the northeast which puts a lot of pressure on Uhaul. The day I was there their system was down. The people at the store were under a lot of stress due to all of these constraints and made it work!

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a storage unit facility. Because I didn't have a unit never been to this place in my life. The managers and other staff was not very helpful at all. I wanted to talk with a manager, but all they would do is email. After speaking with your service representative, them sending emails to the managers, that I wanted to speak with them. They would never call. And you could not send responses back to them. Thought it was fixed the first time. Unfortunately they still did not fix it. I called multiple times.

The person who helped me was not willing to go over the truck or note all of the issues. The inside of the truck was filthy, coffee all over the center console and I assume it was coffee that was splattered all over the headliner.

We were told $70 plus tax on ssthe phone and then when we got there, the guy that wrote up our paperwork upped it to $100 plus tax. That's $30 something more a month. Well I wasn't very happy about it.

Our initial pick up was on Elizabeth NJ then moved to Old Bridge NJ only to be told on the day of pick up that they had NO TRAILER! Good God how do you do that to people who are counting on the trailer to move their belongings. Nothing but a run around until we got a call from a manager. We wound up having to travel 2 hours to pick up a trailer. Both women at the Elizabeth location and Old Bridge location were incompetent.

Authentication process is over the top. I was picking vehicle up at 7am and it wouldn't approve me until i gave an alternate number. Then you had to call that number to verify at 7am. I've rented trucks numerous times with your company And never had this issue before. I shouldn't have to provide an alternate number and have it verified if I'm providing you my license and credit card.

We had ordered an appliance dolly and a dozen furniture pads. Apparently the location that we picked up from did not have either of those items so they were just removed from our order. No one contacted us or told us that was the case so when we opened the truck to load our furniture there was nothing there and I had to track those items down at another location.

I dropped the vehicle off after hours. Unfortunately we had put the key in the drop box before we went through the whole check out process so some of the pictures were very dark. I don't think this a location issue and I could have missed it, but maybe put something at the beginning of the check out process making sure to hold onto the key to open doors, etc as part of the check out process.

Our items had been stored for at least 4 years. The billing system is convenient and easy to use. In all this time we never felt the need to check or come in to inspect our goods. We felt if anything had gone amiss that you all would have informed us. Using uhaul gave us "peace of mind". Thank you

My property was damaged. It was covered in mold and completely covered in dust and spiders like it was stored in a shed in someone's back yard. I was told it happens and wasn't offered insurance day 1
