I wouldn't recommend your company to anyone. We were told New Prague pick-up location then it changed at the last minute to an hour out of our way. Requested a New Prague drop off due to snow storm and were told flatly "No!" Asked for a mileage adjustment due to the out of our way distance traveled to pick up the truck. Again told "No!" Spoke to 3 different customer rep's treated indifferently by each one.

The woman working at the time we picked up was very rude to us and reeked of cigarettes. Someone's car (not ours) was parked in a spot it wasn't supposed to be and she asked us if it was ours- we said no. She then did not believe us and kept asking us even though we were parked in an appropriate spot and it wasn't our car. She finally gave up and gave us a dirty look before going back outside. While she was very unpleasant, the young man working with her who helped us attach our trailer was very efficient and helpful. I wouldn't necessarily say he was kind, but that isn't something that is very important in this situation. He got the job done quickly and effectively.

Your customer service is the worst for such an easy facility to maintain. I was wrongfully informed on “pro rating” my unit if I didn’t use the whole month. Unfriendly customer service and everyone there seemed to hate their job. It’s sad that the best part of my experience was my unit was close to the door so it was easy to move in and out. Get people who actually care about their job.

This is my 4th time to visit this location, the employees are disrespectful and they are not polite. Specially, The employee I met today was rude. The way he talked to me and when I returned the equipment, he even didn't say anything to me, he just jumped to the truck to check, I was standing and waiting for his response but he didn't say nothing to me. I feel like he has racial problem.

I was unsure of where to check in. There were boxes in front of the counter and even when I came in it was a bit confusing.

There is a major design flaw with these containers. The way they are built with wood allowed for a ton of shifting. My dining table was really beat up upon arrival and I had many boxes damaged, split open at the seams. My picture frames, which were bubble wrapped and shrink wrapped had severe damage on the corners and they were next to the container wall. Basically destroyed them.

I could not get the advertised URL for equipment return to pinpoint my location so I couldn't complete my equipment return via online to avoid the service fee. My only choice was to proceed with using the key drop and be charged the service fee. My pain point with the online return is, what if a renter doesn't bring their phone with them when returning the equipment. They are left with the option of driving back to get their phone or be charged a service fee. I would suggest setting up a kiosk if you are looking to implement a self-service model.

The access to the locker and the locker itself was great. This tends to be a very busy site and I had some trouble with the online ending of the locker reservation. However, Alex Wise helped me out over the phone and took care of everything very quickly. I would not hesitate to use this site again for any storage needs in the future.

I fueled the truck back to the recommendation before returning but the receipt shows less than the tank was was returned with How is that possible? I always take a photo of mileage and fuel before returning any of your vehicles

Our box arrived a tad late - but it wasn't too big a deal. It was picked up on time and then was delivered on time and Picked up the best day right on time. All our items arrived safe and sound. Overall, we were really happy with the entire process and i would recommend!

My container sat in Minnesota for 16 days and did not ship until 1 day AFTER the guaranteed due date. The website information about the order status was continuously incorrect. The customer service staff had no idea what was happening with the order.

UBox delivery was scheduled for a window of 9 am to 2 pm but didn't arrive until 3:30. Movers had to charge me for another 2 hours. Pick up was timely though. My other complaints are with the Moving Help in Charlotte as they claimed there were no pads but they were in the Boxes when it got here. I had to go buy some for $150 (got a $50 refund). And I believe the broken items were their fault based on how it was packed. Very disappointed for how much it cost, but only the late delivery is due to this location.

First this had nothing to do with the location. They are just following corporate directives I assume. I was surprised at the daily rate of $29.99 per day. When I was talking to the Customer Support team I was quoted $19.99 per day. I am sure if you review the call recordings you will see this. My overall experience with U Haul as a company was not very customer centric. I initially wanted a one way rental but with the non-committal from U-Haul on the pickup time and day until the day before I could not keep the move on track or on schedule. My only choice was to rent an in town rental even though I was headed to Omaha to bring my son;s belongings there who will be stationed there come November with the Air Force. So I had to drag the trailer to and from Omaha. So I would request U Haul honor the $19.99 per day I was told initially and consider changing your one way rentals policy to be more customer centric. If I don't hear from you I will assume you don't care about your customer experiences and will definitely share this experience with all that I know. I hope you can sense my frustration. I have used U Haul several times over the last 7 or 8 years and have always had a good experience. This most recent experience did not come close to the others. I look forward to your response.

I reserved a u haul 6 by 12 trailer first in Hastings. My Nissan Rogue hitch was too low And unsafe to tow the trailer . I had to unload the trailer and wait for a UBOX unload the trailer, then load the UBOX in 96 degree humid weather. Some of my art work was ruined.

Our container was not delivered when requested. I was told one thing and they didn't deliver it first thing in the morning and we had to be out by 5pm. Getting ahold of anyone who could help was impossible. I have to give TONS of credit to our driver who delivered the empty and redelivered our stuff. She was the only reason we got our container at all that day. She was AMAZING!! WIthout her knowledge and willingness to go above and beyond it would have been an epic fail on Uhaul since NOBODY put any notes in our account. Nothing!!

This location was a last minute switch due to the fact that we were running 7 minutes late. The man at the original location was incredibly rude and would not accommodate us at all. He told us that it was too bad and that if we were late at all he could not help us and we would have to find another location. I was very frustrated with the situation and he was not apologetic or helpful at all. I would not ever go to that location again.

Staff was rude. This was supposed to be a no contact rental. Truck wasn't ready. When I had to go inside one worker was on the phone the other older gentleman was sitting in a chair on his cell phone (not talking, texting or playing a game) Seen me walk in and wait for a while. Finally I asked him if him for help. He said hold on, then I asked what he does there, meaning manager/associate. He replied, I do what I want here. At that point I asked him to get up and assist me, that I'm sure you don't get paid to sit on your phone and ignore customers. He then called out another worker to assist me as he continued to casually sit in a lounge chair in the corner playing on his phone. I will never do business with this location. This is actually my second bad experience. Since their first I began using budget rental trucks, due to covid my local area budget closed early so I went to uhaul. After this experience, I'd rather wait for budget than to give my money to a business that doesn't appreciate a customer.

This site is ok, but I think the Uhaul system has a lot of miscommunication, like I don't know I need to schedule ahead to get my Ubox. After I get them to bring out the Ubox, they didn't take it back to storage and just leave it outside for 5 days which is the next appointment i scheduled when the weather is -10 F.

I used this facility to rent truck for my moving as well. I was intimidated and abused by the staff. The associate does not have have a concept of respect and what is to work on customer services. He was extremely rude and inappropriate, the man thinks he is the big macho talking to me like I was garbage or had some type of thing going on with him! I never experienced such of tragedy from an employee from Uhal. I moved few times and I noticed his poor behavior and not to talk about his work ethics! I wonder if he knows what I am referring to. The supervisor in charge was just as bad to communicate and understand and abide by work policy and rules!! Totally scary and frightening for a single woman that is paying for the equipment!! These experiences were unreal to me! For real!!!

The first Gentleman was very nice. His supervisor- Assistant Store Manager was arrogant and argued about everything. The co worker apologized for him. I like your facility, have used it for 7 years, first when my home was destroyed In 2012 by neighbors house fire. I’ve seen a dozen or more associates work here. Mostly very questionable and seemingly uneducated about customer service as well as grammar and cleanliness. That saying, I believe you hire people that need a second chance in life, and I think that’s great. The Store Manager on Friday March 20 was personable, knowledgeable, clean and friendly. I checked another facility only because the prices are more then I wanted to pay. I decided to rent again because I knew what to expect, I trusted the company and it was generally comfortable. I was disappointed on Sunday March 22nd the SM was not working. The associate pleasantly surprised me after the initial perception of his very dirty appearance. He was very helpful, concerned and friendly. I felt perhaps since I’ve been an outstanding client of yours, for several years, never missed a payment, left everything clean, when leaving and convinced my Sister, Mother and Grandmother to use your units, the ASM would be a little more accommodating and less arrogant and condescending. I don’t like leaving feeling uncomfortable to return. The only good thing is I may never have to see the ASM again. I seldom go in the office area other then to rent a uhaul truck. I also am a Store Manager of high end, luxury retail for over 25 years and expectations are much higher then everyday retail. I hope you know I am happy with the facility, just never know what kind of service (or attitude) to expect when I have to interact with associates. Thank you Kirstin Poole

I would highly recommend renting a storage unit from U-Haul to anyone. I was there for over two years. My rate increased once by a very small amount. Staff always helpful. Always a clean place.

I used the storage unit for a total of 8 days and then returned all of my equipment. Due to incompetence by the staff my order was never closed and I was over charged and even sent to a debt collector

It took a long time to get storage rooms. We got two rooms, one which was already occupied. The process just took a long time before we were finally able to start unloading our things.
