Im am so upset, frustrated, and disappointed with everything with U-Haul and this experience. I had to purchase diapers, formula, baby attire due to the lies and misleading by your company. Guarantees on delivery dates always being pushed further out. I thought using the box would be about convenience for the price you pay instead I received unreliable, inconvenience service. And to finalize the catastrophe of doing business with U-Haul, my daughter took all the appropriate and necessary pictures and instructions on where to deliver the box at the apartment, and you got that wrong completely. Had a parking spot right in front of there place and you park the box 4 rows away at the other end. I am requesting a full refund for this unbelievable, unreliable, infuriating service.

Was there for 2 1/2 years. Everything needed was handled quickly and accurately. Things done by phone were taken care of by the person that picked up. While there, I had one issue with the lock on my unit and they can right over and resolved it. Couldn't be happier with their service.

I accidentally locked the key in the truck cab. When I called UHAUL
Roadside assistance they stated to wait until the office opened to see if they had an additional key. If that didn't work, we would have to pay $350 for someone ti come to open the door even though we paid for additional insurance. When we tried to call triple a, they refused to come because of a liability issue. Paying insurance all different ways and not being able to use it.And then being charged, because you don't have a second key. You need to make other options available for a unfortunate mistake or offer other options. Especially spending so much money for the rental and additional insurance.

The cabin had a strong odor of cat and the seat had hair all over. Clearly used by someone with a pet. Even though the temperatures were in 30's, i had to drive with the windows rolled down otherwise wouldn't be able to bear the smell.

The only issue was the cables that hook into the hitch had loose wire strands and they were extremely sharp and I received multiple punctures. I would wrap tape or make sure there are no loose strands as they are dangerous.

I wanted a van to move a piece of furniture, not a box truck. When I went to pick it up, it wasn't there; hadn't been returned by the last user. I was told I could pick one ip in anither town; not acceptable.I rescheduled and the van was there. Nice and new and clean. However, it didn't have enough gas to get me where I was going, so I filled it up and returned it with a half tank more than when I picked it up. You are NOT reimbursed for the extra gas, however; you're giving it to U-Haul. So be careful.

We were charged for fuel we did not use. I added fuel to get us back to the level we started with. I was charged for 5 gallons of fuel after we turned in the van. When I received my digital receipt, I was surprised at the additional charge. I have a photo to show we were overcharged. Your website lists the van's MPG at 19 MPG. I traveled 16 miles and got charged for 7 gallons of gas. That's just over 2 MPG.

The whole experience with U-Haul has been nothing short of frustrating. I have never done business with any company that has been so exasperating. The location was fine. But the policies and procedures that you have in place are not conducive to repeat service. Getting my reservation wrong from the start. Telling me that if they cannot get my truck, they will notify me 24 hours out. These were the first frustrations. Blowing up my phone wsnting me to go to webpages that did not work. Telling me to download an app for a one time rental for charity work. Wanting feedback from every interaction but not doing anything to make the service better. You will be the reason I do not continue the charity work . It is my goal to find another truck next year so I do not have to deal with U-Haul.

Hi! I completed your sign-in when I rented the vehicle (including uploading my license etc, but had to do it all over when I arrived to pick it up.
The tank was only 1/2 full, so I had to fill it before I set out to move my friend to Phili.
I found the taking of pictures before and after onerous and time consuming.
I was grateful the truck worked well and was relatively easy to load. May I suggest you reapply the Tow/Haul sticker, which was only partially legible (I improvised on how to use it) and consider adding a step ladder in the truck for loading “mom’s attic.”

Not location specific, the people working there were great. The app checkin / check out experience is truly awful. The interface is poorly designed, it crashed on me multiple times, and the requirement to take photos when dropping off the truck was ridiculous. If the pickup set of photos is optional, so should the drop off. Will definitely only use uhaul as a last resort going forward, and tell anyone who needs to move to use a different provider.

My storing experience with U-haul was great! I couldn't have asked for a better storage facility. I rented my unit after having two u-boxes shipped here from out of state. Having everything indoors was super ideal. Being able to unload my u-boxes inside then moving everything into a storage unit on my own timeframe was great. I had to store my stuff here for about a year and 8 months until I moved into a bigger house, and not once was my rent raised, so thank you for that! I also really enjoyed having the indoor loading bay, I've never seen that before at other storage facilities, but that made for a pleasant experience, especially when the weather wasn't ideal. If I ever need to store anything again, I will definitely be coming back here. Thanks! Oh, and most importantly, my stuff that I was storing here, didn't get damaged while in storage. Everything stayed how it was, and the building didn't leak or anything like that. An overall great experience, from getting my u-boxes shipped here and to storing my belongings for a while. Thanks again!

I've said this before in prior reviews, but Seth in particular is top notch. He was very patient with me when I got my first unit 2 years ago. My husband had always dealt with the storage units we used periodically and I had no clue how to do anything. He took the time to physically come show me each step. I had to get a 2nd unit for use during a remodel and I didn't look anywhere else. Should I ever need storage again I'll be back.

I put my card on file to call in and authorize monthly payments. Not auto pay. But all the sudden you guys decided it was ok to charge my card without authorization. Causing me multiple overdraft fees because I have to move money into that account to make payments, I didnt keep it funded regularly. The facility itself is clean and easy to find. However, I did have an issue with our move-in as they had cancelled are our reservations and were were left with a truck and our items and no where to go. Full Story: We went in person to check-in and rent a box truck. Got the truck, the garage clicker, access code, and lock for the storage unit. Fast forward to after we loaded our truck up and returned to the facility to empty our belongings into our unit and return the truck. Upon arrival, we could not access anything as we did not have a valid rental agreement. They had cancelled them all. I spent an hour on the phone with 5 agents and we ended up just leaving the truck on the lot with our stuff in it, as we would be responsible for the late drop off and extra mileage to drive home. So we had to go back the next day and explain the situation again. The manager at this facility was very helpful and did what she could. I am now fighting U-Haul on the extra charges beyond our control.

I got roaches and diff bugs crawling and killed from my belongings after being moved. Theres now an awful cat urine smell and ive never owned a cat. The hours are awful to people who work all day and cant gethere during the day or nightshifts who only function at night time. The people are rude. Call 50 times a day if ypur a day late on payment but waiting hours or days for them to do their job and unlock it. Worse storage experience ive had my entire lofe so far.

The young man who helped me at the location in Carlisle Pennsylvania was beyond polite and helpful. Very friendly, showed me everything that I needed to know about my storage area. I've never stored anything in a facility like yours. I would venture to say that there would be less risk of infection doing surgery there been in any Hospital. Very clean!

I only needed the unit for a short time in between moving, so I didn't have the same experience as someone looking for long term storage, so I gave 4 stars, as I don't really have a frame of reference. However, this was all super convenient - I never even *had* to actually go into the office other than closing out my account, and going to get a clicker when the garage doors were fixed. Would definitely do this again, as I received the unit at no cost for a full month when I rented the moving truck.

It's fun walking in here and remembering it as K-Mart. A little eerie when you're the only one in the facility, but there are cameras EVERYWHERE, which makes me feel safer. They provide complementary carts and an automatic entry door after hours. They also offer special insurance, which I recommend purchasing. The free lock was also awesome to receive. My only concern was the restroom that I used - it smelled pretty weird (like the fan/vent wasn't working properly) and there were no paper towels left. Toilet paper was abundant though, and the soap was full. Maybe I just picked a bad one to use, as there are a few restrooms in the facility.

You guys made it so easy to hide my annoying mother during the move. The storage was Convenient, cheap, & roomie. With all that.. clutter gone..my house has never been so quiet. Drive in bay doors kept the harsh cold weather out and provided for a discreet & shaded moving experience, under all 17 aliases & paid help. You guys are wonderful for taking the time to make sure your customers are happy no questions asked. The women was so kind

Only 1 promotion while others have multiple to benefit multiple situations. Prices are decent but still way to expensive to not have half the amenities as other less known facilities. The access times suck for people who work nights and do most priorities and stuff at night. If im paying i should be able to access my belongings anytime i want otherwise you should cut prices or your company should be paying for insurances since its apparently your property half of the time im paying for it anyway. Do better uhaul. Very disappointed and annoyed.

This place met my needs. the General Manager is a super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful guy. When I moved in, he was very accommodating to me and it is evident he wants his customers to be happy with the service they provide. I recently moved out of my storage unit I was able to complete the check-out process quickly and easily. My only issue with this storage facility was that my unit was placed all the way in the back of the facility and I had to weave around a lot of corridors when moving my belongings in / out (which was A LOT of stuff from a 3 bed/1800 sq. ft home). It was a several minute walk from my unit to the loading area where we could pull the truck into, so that was incredibly inconvenient and frustrating when mopving in and out. Upon moving into my storage unit a few months ago, the employee helping me told me there were other units closer to the loading area that were available, but he couldn't figure out how to change it in the computer system so I was stuck all the way in the back. That was my main issue... but other than that, this place got the job done and I appreciate the GM's help and knowledge.

The army veteran who works there is extremely nasty in attitude and treatment of others. He stared at me while I finished a phone conversation on speaker while moving out. He then tried to blame me for split water that he asked if I had done on purpose? I said of course not, do you want help cleaning it? And he didn’t even want any help and had a cleaning person available. I would of not use this facility. Not enough cameras on the inside. And that guy does not belong in customer service and clearly hates his job and other people.

I didn't have my homeowner's insurance policy number with me when I initiated the contract and the customer service rep told me I could call back with my policy and have it credited back to my account. I called back the next day and provided my policy number and the CSR told me I would see a credit for the next month's bill. When I got the next month's statement, I didn't see a credit and called the facility. I was told I needed to contact UHaul customer service. They proceeded to tell me I would not get a credit for one day of Uhaul insurance. This is the only thing making me leery of using U Haul in the future.

Overall my experience was great. The employees at this location are super friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and helpful. It made me glad I selected this location over others in the area. They walked me through everything and answered my many questions. The only “negative” was that the computer assigned my storage unit at basically the farthest point away from the unloading area, and when the employees discovered it and found a closer spot for me (which I was sitting there for so I heard it), they couldn’t figure out how to move me from the original storage unit to the closer one. This was a huge bummer as I was moving a lot of stuff and had to make many many trips weaving around the facility from the unload zone. This was frustrating to me, knowing there were open units closer. But it is what it is. I still very much appreciate the employees here. Very very friendly.

I just spoke on the phone General Manager David Burden Jr at 1180 Walnut Bottom Rd Carlisle, PA 17015 about a Unit I have been trying to Close since May 27th. When I spoke with him he advised on May 27th he would do a one time exception and refund me what I paid being I did not use the unit at all and rented a truck. This is not acceptable and I can't accept the decision I was told that I cannot get a refund. I went in the 27th and tried to close unit and the workers at this location said no to wait for David to give me a call after the holiday. I never heard from him until today. I received a call from his worker and went the next day and tried again and was told the same exact thing. This is not my fault that the lock was not taken off when I am being advised not to take it off. I also rented a truck and was supposed to get a month off which is why he stated he would make the exception. I have been dealing with this since May 27th.

Excellent customer service, they made a hectic moving day so much easier. I would highly recommend them, their facility was Exceptionally clean and comfortable, the staff gave me a tour of the layout and showed me one on one how to use the entry system and how to activate the alarm that is individually set for each unit. My overall experience with them was excellent, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to store home goods in a secure, protected area.
