A small thing...the outside of the 6x12 trailer was a bit worn and tarnished looking...not shiny and clean. The inside was excellent and the functionality was excellent...which is ultimately what I am concerned with. Check in and check out went flawlessly. Staff were very helpful. AND was just a few 100 feet from the Public Storage facility I was using...which meant a LOT after a long day of physical exertion.MATTHEW C.

Did not arrive on time. Came the next day. I had to track and find my container while uhaul employees said it was up to me to call moving help to figure out whats going on. Over $4,000 for the smallest container. More then twice the amount if I was going the opposite way.Paul V.

Front desk claimed I had to return the cargo van back to the original location, although there's stickers all over the van stating it's a â€œone wayâ€ deliveryâ€¦ this cost me an extra $40. Poor customer service.Dan M.

Have the trailer wires inspected so the the employees don't start pulling the fuses under your hood and banging your starter motor with a crowbar. Or maybe train the employees not to rip out trailer wires with the forklift and then blame it on blown fuses.BENJAMIN R.

Honestly I found the experience unsatisfying I have rented a U-Haul before in four different locations so I'm familiar with the way that U-Haul works in the past I have never rented a U-Haul for a few days this was the first time and the person that I spoke to at the call center and the person that I spoke to at the actual location gave me different information so it was very confusing also I felt that both parties the call center and the location were short with me and I felt like they didn't want to answer all my questions they just wanted to be done with the transaction a lot of times if I go over what I'm expected to bring back and gas I have been reimbursed before but that wasn't the case at this location which I understand that's not protocol but I just feel like they could have had better customer service set aside the reimbursement they should have gave me a printout or said that they would send me an email and they did not in the end I did get an email so I was happy about that but if I hadn't I would have called them and kind of been upset because they just left me wondering vehicle was very clean and it was a new vehicle so I was grateful for that because I had to travel and I wanted something reliable and safe I just don't recommend that the customer service was very good on both endsJAMIE H.

After a year of a global pandemic, I did expect that the seats and steering wheel would be wiped down. They weren't. The customer service agent was wonderful and walked me around the truck noting all of the X marks of prior damage. He was helpful and pleasant and I would recommend him personally. Unfortunately the vehicle was not in good condition and I had to stop driving before I began moving because the truck was not safe to drive.Lynn M.

After being utterly let down by a U-Haul Pod delivery, Ed resolved our frantic situation finding a a trubb CA k we could decant the pod contents into and rent for 24 hours. Ed took the time to explain situations unique to the San Diego area. We're from NY and we can park in any public street in front of anyone's house.. apparently La Jolla resides to own the public streets outside their house and pods and trucks cannot be left their to allow move in. The U-Haul scheduler expected us to know everything about the local area She was completely nasty, but Ed saved the day all the good ratings go to him, all the negative to her. Why would she schedule a huge flat bed truck to deliver to a small guest parking lot? Totally incompetent in every way, including her attitude. We manage to complete a Herculean effort because Ed took the time to answer all questions and give us local guidance.jennifer U.

No one was in the front office for several minutes. I rang a bell and called out. Eventually someone came and helped me and first thing he said was â€œwhere is everybody?â€ He proceeded to help and get me checked in. He was delayed and said he had trouble connecting online too.
