This location had wonderful staff and grounds. Oddie blvd on the other hand. Online said guarantee of trailer I wanted, waited almost an hour with only one customer besides me there. Told me that carson would have my trailer but never completed reserving it like they said they did. Ended up having to go to carson uhaul for trailer I needed.

Our original rental location was in a different town. When we arrived to pick up our trailer, we found that that location was no longer a U-Haul location. We had not received any notification from U-Haul to inform us of this. I had to call your company to find another trailer and we had to drive to a different city to get our trailer.

The truck was dirty; the ash-tray was filled with cigarette butts, and the gas tank had barely enough gas to get to a service station. The female employee checking us out was dandling her baby on her lap, so she could keyboard with only one hand. Very slow and she did't seem to care.

This truck had steering and front end issues. Also no heat very cold at 4 am. The steering issues were at the point of serious safety problems as the truck was all over the road no matter what speed you were going. When I asked about a discount was told these things weren’t guaranteed. Then had to fight to get the size truck were I needed it at time I needed.

When picked up carrier was told if I had any tire problems to call the number she highlighted which was for insurance not roadside services. Guess I should’ve looked at tires a little closer. Drove 71 miles and blew two tires on driver side. Was broken down from 6:15am - 4:15pm. Ref # 1720427. Need someone to contact me to discuss reimbursement.

I called a week prior to confirm my rental location (south Lake Tahoe) would have the trailer in inventory. After confirming that they would, I received a text message the day prior to pickup that I would have to pick up my trailer in Carson City. Normally this would not be an issue had I been prepared and not moving the same day. This threw a major hitch (3+ hours) in my moving plans. Furthermore, I do not think I could of received any worse customer service from the female “manager” (so she says) whom had no recourse to try and resolve my issue. If I had any choice to use another rental company I would of. However only UHaul exists in Tahoe and they clearly play on that fact. She was rude, unable to work with me, and as a result, I will NEVER rent from Uhaul again. I was going to rent a storage unit in our new city from UHaul and cancelled said order as well. Hopefully Ryder or another company is prevalent in my new location because UHaul will be receiving no business from me.

I made a reservation over a month in advance, I called 3 days before my move to make sure I was good to go. I show up on time and not only did they not have my truck but the had no trucks at all for me. They were like, sorry......... you can reschedule for another day . It took a lot of negotiating I finally left with a 15 footer instead of the 26 footer I needed. The manager I dealt with over the phone did her best to help me. This place is lucky they have no competition or they would be out of business . Horrible experience truly unbelievable ...

Busy location so be prepared to wait. Cannot rent larger than a 20’ truck for local moves, so I paid double due to making extra trips at over $1/mile plus gas.

We had to drive an extra 30 miles from our preferred location in Reno to a storage unit in Carson City wait 90 minutes to get the unit due to not enough staff, & truck drop off 90 min. late.

I t wasn’t a problem but but I was surprised that my reservation was canceled because I hadn’t picked up the truck within the hour of the schedule time. I didn’t know this was a requirement.

When we got there the first time, the girl there with the colored hair was mean and not polite, her customer service sucks, she was kind of racist with us, very very bad customer service from her, her shirt said she was the manager? ??One star for her, She told us there was no trucks available to rent, of course she was lying, and we left, then we returned and a really nice guy named Gerardo Gonzalez Cruz helped us and he was really nice and polite with us, we could rent a truck with him with no issues, We appreciate his help and his nice customer service! ?????????? Five stars for Gerardo Gonzales Cruz ??????????

Add staffing. I arrived early for my appointment as this location is extremely busy and is chronically understaffed. They do their best but it’s just no humanly possible to keep up with demand!

This is entirely aimed at The company not this specific location... The entire new system is horrible. Why am i not an employee checking equipment and taking photos for you on check out then on reruns doing your employees job? You have employees for a reason, to check equipment in and out. The customer should have the choice without being charged a total b.s. fee for check in after hours. This is aimed at trying to thin the uhaul team down and cut some employees by forcing the customer to do that job. You are making a horrible decision for the country as a whole by implementing this so you can "lay off" or flat out "fire" certain employees. Not to mention its a total pain in the rear end.

I rented a space to store a vehicle. I only had the space for 4 days when we decided to take the vehicle to a repair shop. I am very disappointed that U-Haul doesn't refund any part of the rent.

Average rating is for poor customer service. Staff in the store does not return phone calls and the answering service is the absolute worst. It took several calls over 2 weeks to cancel contract.

when we rented a U-Haul trailer we were told that we could get one month free storage when we got to our location. We were not allowed 1 month free rent have a storage unit.

I am not happy with the storage part. I let staff know when I moved out and yet I was continually asked to pay the storage for 6 months after that.

The staff and managers were terrible.They wouldn’t work with me to get access to my pods past 4pm and then left them outside, uncovered for 3 days. Mice got in a some point. Terrible customer service.

My overall U-Box experience has been very poor from A to B. The icing on the cake was this location loading my U-Box BACKWARDS on the trailer. Truly next-level incompetence.
