Reserved an enclosed trailer online at the Lower Paxton location a couple of days before hand. Arrived on time and no one was around. Waited for ten minutes, then opened the shop door and summoned a worker to help me. She wrote me up and met me out in the lot standing by an open trailer. I told her I had reserved a closed trailer and she said she didn't have one available. Sent me to the 29th Street location as they had one. They were great at that location. Very poor that I wasn't told on line or initially that they didn't have what I wanted.

I was scheduled for a truck pick up for 7 pm at a location that was already closed and wasnt told how to do a contactless pick up , I called over 4 times and was put on hold and then the service person tried to talk me thru the pick up but was nasty and smart the whole time... sounded frustrated , then I was unable to find my equipment after she hung up ,I had to call back and be walked thru it all again so an hr and a half later i was able to get my truck but it all so frustrating and unorganized I wasnt a refund ASAP. Not happy with Customer service ... Exept for 1 guy on the 24hr line named Brian he was awesome...very pleasant and helpful

I received multiple emails of correspondence telling me that my trip qualified me for a month of free storage. When I arrived at the location i was denied this promo which prompted me to seek storage solutions elsewhere.

The location is huge and has tons of vehicles and available products, but the online check-in was STUPID. Full of glitches. And we had to go inside and have a key handed to us. (Note to U-Haul, see how Amazon Lockers work). And finally, the truck was "clean", but as soon as we turned the heat on we were choked with cigarette stink. It was HORRIBLE. Told the check-in guy after our move and he didn't even acknowledge it was an issue. #FAIL for customer service.

The customer service is awful. When I dropped of my rental I waited 10 minutes before a cashier could check me out. I was the first person in line. Both cashiers was on the phone and didn't bother to tell the customers that they would be with them shortly. You guys have a nice set up, but terrible customer service.

The vehicle I rented worked well, it just had a bit of damage that hadn't been documented before and was a little dirty in the cab. It may have just come back from a rental. They also said there was collision coverage that was required, but the paperwork said it was optional. Getting the vehicle was very convenient and it worked well, so no major complaints.

I drive a tractor trailer for a living and I am very picky about mirror adjustment for safety. I can never get your truck mirrors set properly. I don't know if there is a secret to it that I just don't know.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in recent memory. I have been a u-haul customer for years but you may have just lost my loyalty. For starters, the box arrived to my new residence two days late, which isn't even what I am worried about, it was just an inconvenience. My grievance lies with your customer service and "making things right". Firstly, the contract stated for every day the box is late it is a $50 credit to my account. Well it was two days late to my house but apparently it was only one day late to the uhaul facility so its only a one day credit. That's just not right.... it was two days late due to the fact that uhaul was late with its shipping... I feel as thought its right to credit for how late it was with the delivery option that I purchased. Secondly, at some point someone at uhaul tried to deliver an empty u-box to my house and charge me over the phone for that service... I have no idea how a second order was started but I certainly didn't create it. On top of all this I have been on the phone with someone from u-haul what feels like 1000 times over the last several days and every time someone calls or I call, no one seems to have any answers or know at all what they are talking about... This was one big logistical nightmare... I will never recommend U-box service to anyone I know making a long distance move.

This whole process was much easier than we expected. Moving across the country is not a cheap thing and you worry about your stuff arriving okay. With uhaul the process and staff was so easy to work with and my box arrived before schedule which was great. HIGHLY recommend to anyone, VERY AFFORDABLE !!

The 10x10x6 unit I reserved on-line with my truck was not available when I showed up in PA on 12/2 (order #20731372). An employee (Steve) put me in a 5x10x6 and 5x10x8 as an alternative, and told me he would merge the units so I would pay the same monthly bill I was anticipating. Steve said he would call me to come in on a later day to sign the receipt/contract once they were able to merge the units. I went back in-person on 12/'7 since I had not received a call. I was told by another employee (Shawna) while she was on the phone with corporate storage, she could not merge the units since they were different sizes (one is two feet taller than the other). She said I would have to move my belongings out of one of my units into another, so both the units are the exact same size to receive the merged rate. I am expected (again) to spend my time and energy to make-up for false promises and booking errors made by U-Haul. U-Haul made the mistake allowing me to reserve a non existent unit. I took the two 5x10s because I was told the rates would be merged into the monthly rate I had expected. The employees now tell me I have to spend another day moving my stuff around because of errors on the company's behalf. This is all highly unacceptable, and I am very disappointed with the customer service and my entire moving experience. What is the point of making a reservation if the unit is not held and available? Why would an employee tell me they will honor the 10x10 rate if I moved into two 5x10's? The first employee that helped me yesterday was also very unsympathetic and had zero empathy. Shane, the general manager, stepped in and did what he could to help, but it is a shame that corporate ties the employees' and managers' hands in a "make-good" scenario. Because of the "same size units to merge" restriction, U-Haul has denied me the most basic of customer expectations and given me a horrific experience. I am definitely not satisfied, and am expected (again) to pay more or inconvenience myself because of errors made by your company. My moving from Louisiana to PA started with me having to drive 29 extra miles to pick up my equipment. My pick-up reservation was made for a location 2 miles from my home in LA. U-Haul managed to screw up both my reservations on this contract, and I am expected to spend my time and money to cover your mistakes. Since I will have to spend time moving my belongings, I plan on moving them out of your facility entirely before the free month I received with truck rental is over. You've lost a long-term customer with excellent credit (>800) who always pays their bills. If I ever have to rent equipment again, you can also bet I will be seeking out alternatives. You are a terrible company who takes no responsibility for your own errors, and shifts the burdens onto your clients. Shame on you, U-Haul.

I had a few issues with the Uhaul in York and in Harrisburg, but once I arrived in Little RocK, the employees there were amazingly helpful. Chelsea and Jue were attentive, receptive, and incredibly helpful. While I was frustrated with the service I received at the Roosevelt Ave store in York, PA and my original interaction with the uhaul box driver from Harrisburg, it did get better, and we both apologized to each other for the misunderstandings. I do not recommend the York, PA store at all. Everyone in Little Rock, AR's Baseline Rd locations has and did go above and beyond and I truly appreciate them.

The young women working the desk was not helpful at all. She spent the whole time looking at her phone and when we asked questions she replied with, "it's on the website" However, one of the workers outside spent a full 10 minutes with us explaining every detail of putting a car on the dolly. He was well-versed on the equipment and extremely helpful. He was by far the best UHaul employee we encountered on this trip.

Your agent did not walk me out to the Vehicle to make sure everything was ok. Couldn't get the truck started had to go back in and get the agent to come get it started. Then when I got it home n tried to start it it would t start it. My son had to play with the keys to even get it started. This happened every time we started it. Very frustrating when you pay for something n you have to mess with it to get it started. I asked the agent if I was going to have trouble with it n he told me no. That was a lie. Thank his for my son otherwise I would of been stranded.

Only issue I would say I have is we were at the location emptying the truck in to the unit and didn't finish until a little after 12. When I received the emailed receipt I saw I was charged for one more full day of truck rental. A bit disappointed in that....

Only complaint would be we were at the facility unloading the truck into the rental unit and it took longer than we thought. Part of the reason was the original unit we rented we found out was on the 2nd floor. Would not work for what we were unloading. Switched to larger unit on ground floor. Due to this is took us a bit longer. Truck was not returned until around 12:15. Which was 15 minutes late. I was charged for an extra day for the truck..

Not being able to efficiently call my bank due to poor location placement and signal interference was a huge drawback. Not being able to pay with my card on their system and having to go out of my way to obtain cash, then be told that there is an additional charge for using cash was not customer friendly. Please check your card system at that location at minimum to ensure that someone can successfully pay via card or credit card on a rental. Normal purchases were smooth and flawless...rental purchase was a nightmare.

I think it is not necessary to charge extra for 24/7 access to storage. Also, the individual units are dark. You should install an led light in each unit which automatically goes on when unit is opened.

Staff did not wear masks, despite PA State Government orders for everyone in a public setting to do so. Signage was up, to provide awareness of this fact. It is likely that many employee’s carried the Covid-19 virus home to family. As a person wearing a mask is protecting others, I don't appreciate this company, or company-location policy. It put me at risk, every time I visited the location, hence why we have now moved from that location. Other than this policy, I would have rated the location excellent.

The fact that I asked multiple times if I had 24 hour coverage and the girl reassured me I did then when I came after hours I got locked outside with my keys and phones inside and couldn’t get back in until 5am the next morning when I called customer service they said I did not have 24 hour access on my account and when I tried to call the GM her phone ran I left a voice mail then called again a couple times because my storage unit was wide open and my cell phone and keys were inside thank god a friend came with me who had their phone I kept calling and instead of answering she turned her phone off so I have to sit outside the storage place from 1015p until 5am until I could get in to get my things to leave. Horrible!

Extremely clean facility and the staff was professional and efficient. There was mouse droppings throughout my unit also,there were droppings on several coolers I had to dispose of. I informed a employee that stated there is currently a rodent issue in row 1800,unfortunately my unit was 1802..Another employee took pictures of droppings on the floor.I stored summer furniture from October til Mid March.I am totally dissatisfied and will not be using U -Haul storage in the near future..Totally disappointed!☹

Put more trash cans out in front. From time to time I noticed the only one you have was overflowing on to the sidewalk. Staff does keep it clean but some customers do not unfortunately.

The manager was great at finding me a larger storage area in another location. I asked for the largest storage area when I reserved a large truck but when I got there only small ones were available.
