The rental customer service agent was absolutely horrible!!! You can tell he doesn't enjoy his job and his customer service was far from fair!! We drove only 26 miles and even put a gallon of gas in the cargo van and it was right back to the amount of fuel that was in the van when we got it. However, this customer service tech said it wasn't and charged us a fuel fee of $4.75. He said the fuel line wasn't back to exactly half of the fuel tank line. However, it wasn't to the halfway mark when we received the cargo van. This customer service tech needs to have a huge attitude adjustment or find a different job!!Joseph B.

I was told the gas was at 3/8th and when returned it was at 7/8th but was told then I would be charged for gas because it was full when I got it. Which it was but the paperwork showed it as 5/8th. So employees need to understand and know how to check gas correctlyMike F.

You need to include all information that you need when you get there to pick it up online when you reserve. I was not prepared to have to use a CREDIT card only with the pickup truck rental and had to yo back home to get it. Also, it needs to be specified online that you're REQUIRED to either purchase the $25 insurance or provide full coverage on your own before arriving. I was not prepared for that either and ended up paying $60 upfront when I was expecting to pay $35.Joshua G.

My original pickup location was changed to 820 NW Broad St, Murfreesboro TN, but they were closed when I arrived at my pickup time. We had to negotiate on the phone to find a new pickup location, and they didn't have all the same equipment we needed. Please ensure that the pickup locations you assign are fully functional.Steve C.

Fix your trucks. Price too expensive for a bad truck that could barely make it up a hill. This was by far the worst experience renting from U-haul. I will continue to do business but I literally paid 400 dollars for truck that smelled like illegal drugs and was dirty and dusty.Davonte D.

The only issue I had was I ordered an appliance dolly and it wasn't on the truck so I had to ask for it. The employees were responsive and willing to assist and took care of it without any issue. I didn't have a roadside Assistance issue. Not sure why those questions are hereâ€¦this is an inconvenience to have to fill that part of the survey when it doesn't apply to meCurtis S.

Did not like that the truck was only 1/4 fuel at pick up. After filling up for my trip. I returned it with over half tank. I lost money on this trip for the gas.Kevin G.

Be honest with them. If you say your going to have a truck for them, have it. At THAT location. Don't leave a fuel tank empty for a customer picking it up. Work on the way you treat and talk to customers. Don't lie about how big the truck floor space actually is.Steven E.

I walked in and there were 2 reps at their seats. Then they both disappeared for 10 minutes without a word and I had to stand there. Nothing against this particular location but aside from the above, I had to spend 2 days calling Uhaul customer service and scheduling because EVERYONE there tells you something different and no one has a clue what they're doing. From telling me twice an extra day for a 15' is $40 when it's $29.95 to a remote person telling me I wasn't scheduled but that it had me down to pick up at the Madison, TN location when I NEVER did, to Carolyn in scheduling completely fucking everything up by reversing my pickup and drop-off locations after Lorna in customer service had fixed everything and Carolyn almost having lost truck availability and me having had to scream at her, then her having fixed it but never having had the common decency to call me back to tell me and me having had to call in. I wouldn't recommend Uhaul to my worst enemy. Next time I'm using Budget or Penske. Fuck Uhaul.bill D.

Had to use the storage unit at 1. Then drive all the way across town to drop the truck off at another location made no sense. Tried to change it wanted to charge me I was already there with the truck it was clean and gassed up they were eating lunch the staff. Wouldn't help me just pushed me a long costing me money cuz I was late dropping it off very bad experience. Missed my ride back to my house had to walk nearly six miles. The staff is rude. Aside from the date I signed my contract, whenever I have to speak with the staff they have a tendency to make one feel unimportant and that I am an interruption to whatever they have going on. They often park equipment in the way of the door to the storage units creating a trip hazard. When you ask them to move it they are always too busy to do so in a timely fashion. When moving out I called to cancel my contract. the rep stated that its not really a contract and all i have to do is move out. I asked him to please make a record of my move out anyway. I then started receiving late notices with assessed fees so I called back in. the rep noted said she would e-mail the store to notify them of my original move out date but would not copy me on that e-mail nor provide a copy for my records. I find that policy absurd. She stated all calls are recorded and that if needed I could get said recording. When I requested it she put me on hold and after 20 minutes i gave up. The only saving grace for this particular facility was the price. That said I did get a letter notifying me that the price was increasing on my unit. With all this in mind, no I would not recommend this facility, especially for storage rentals. Additionally, after my support experiences with your company, I will shop other brands before choosing a uhaul location in the future.George M. | Overall Experience
