The trailer was filthy. The floor was cakes with grease. Didn't realize it until I was gone and picking up furniture. Incredibly inconvenient. Made a mess of the packaging and shoes. Luckily no one slipped on it when loading the trailer.

I had a reservation for an 8’ pickup truck and when I arrived you didn’t have the truck. I was upgraded to a 10’ truck (which did NOT work for my situation) and when I saw that there were two rented pickups I asked to be switched into one. They told me they were both rented out. I don’t fucking care that they’re rented out, I was PROMISED an 8’ pickup and I didn’t get it. They should’ve switched me into the pickup and switched one of the OTHER people into a 10’ truck since I specifically told them I was towing a car and trailer behind (which doesn’t work on the 10’ truck hitch). I’m beyond annoyed with this location and how they handled the situation and I won’t be returning any time soon.

Van dirty upon p/u. $1,174 charge for 3 weeks rental with 2200 miles = rip off. I could've rented a van/SUV/truck for $600 or less for a month with unlimited miles. Never again will I rent a van from UHaul

Seamless operation once I figured out how to use the app. I only used two hours of my allotted 6 hour rental and 10 miles of my 20 mile limit, but the truck was perfect, the ease of pick up and drop off were also great. We've used this location in the past and i would recommend this location to our friends and family when the need arises. Thank you

The light in the storage unit area is on a motion detector so it goes off shortly after you are outside of its line of sight.
Initially, my experience was terrible due to some extremely bad treatment I received from an employee and the manager being only somewhat helpful. I was weary every time I had to return there. Thankfully, there must've been a change in management and employees because from my third revisit onward, everyone was exceedingly friendly, helpful and polite.

The new manager at the Chatsworth location is horrible. The rest of the staff is nice. I will never use that facility again due to Timothy Grady.
Also, the lights shut off within a minute, so I hit my head because it went dark when I was retrieving things from my storage unit. Completely unsafe

The manager was polite but condescending. He initially couldn’t find my reservation and then didn’t acknowledge he found it and made me feel like it was my fault and I did it all wrong. After I saw the unit, I went in to speak to him because it was too small. He initially told me that he didn’t have a larger one when he had just told me that there was one bigger when he couldn’t find my original booking. The reality was he was having trouble finding it but could only admit that much later. I apologize for us getting off on the wrong foot, which was glad to accept, but he did not reciprocate in any way, so I gave up pursuing that path.
A few hours later, as I was unloading, his employee ignored me as I tried to ask him 3x why he was walking around my trailer. When he finally responded, he was totally disrespectful. He rudely told me he worked there, as if that gave the right to do whatever he wanted to and dismissed people who speak to him. This angered me so I called him on that and he just upped his rude attitude. I told him he must hate his job and he physically threatened me. I then told him I’d call the police but he didn’t seem to care. The manager came by right then and I told him what happened and all he did was tell his employee not to talk to me. There was no apologies offered and his employee was reprimanded in any way. The manager did give me an extra day on my trailer rental for free. I needed that because all their storage units were much smaller than I expected and the only other unit available was slightly bigger than the one I’d originally rented. I thought of finding another place to storage but I had to return the trailer there so I really had no choice. I wasn’t told it was on the upper level so I had to spend a lot of time negotiating what I could actually put in the space.
The whole experience didn’t make me feel valued as a person but as just another nameless faceless customer who clearly doesn’t have feelings and shouldn’t speak out their thoughts when they’re being mistreated. It is also clearly a place that has a culture that promotes not admitting to doing anything wrong and never apologizing, and that offering additional days free makes up for it.

Top floor storage hard to get to , needing to use a ladder to bring up items to be stored. Entrance size to storage unit not listed, it was doorway sized, not the full width of the unit. Unit, even though it was taller than bottom unit, not meant for heavy boxes since the boxes would have to be carried up a ladder.... Big safety issue!

I had to cancel my request as the doors were broken and I couldn’t access the storage unit. I needed to off load stuff that day and couldn’t wait 24 hours for haul to fix the doors. The customer service rep apologized for the inconvenience. He was very polite.

Highest recommend possible. Fantastic customer service, from manager Corey and all staff we encountered. Accommodating and helpful. Secure building, which is great, as our storage units at Public Storage were broken into 3 times this year.
Especially convenient setup when you need to rent a truck or trailer and your storage unit is right there at the same facility - and first months rent was free because we did rent a trailer - that’s how we found out about their storage facility - a $150 savings!
Clean facility, well lit. On a scale of 5 stars, we actually give it 10 stars. Well done u-haul!!

Stephanie has been a wonderful manager throughout my U-Box storage. Daniel was a fantastic help when I emptied the U-Boxes. I moved cross country twice in two years, and U-Haul was a huge help!
