Truck leaked & caused a great amount of damage: 2 soaked twin mattresses, 1 wet full size mattress, couch, loveseat, water marks on my new dresser, & 5 pillowcases full of wet clothes. Also, a mouse came running out of cloth pads storage uhaul bag & I'm unclear whether it is in my personal items or ran out of truck.

This Chester location was my original choice, however, UHaul rescheduled my pickup to another location at 5211 Pennel Road, Media. Unfortunately this location was not open at 8 am which was my pickup time. I wasted an hour of time trying to get the situation figured out. Not to mention driving at of my way. The scheduling department should pay attention to hours of operation and the customers pick up time The woman at 1600 Highland Ave, Chester was the most helpful and apologetic person. She did a wonderful job of reorganizing equipment and processing our paperwork quickly and efficiently. I would recommend the Chester location because if her customer service.

I believe there should be at least two people working at all times it would help things go quickly when there's more than one customer even if there's one or more customers one worker could hook up equipment the other do paperwork!

Truck had break issues, yet was still allowed for rent. Alarm kept going off, had to pull over a few times. Was annoying with the loud sound. Was told the company was aware of issue but they were told it was approved to drive. Would have been good to know this prior to driving it.

I had initially booked Pick up Truck for 3 pm on Sept 1'2019 and later I got that rescheduled for pick up at 2.05 pm as I was around the location. When I reached the location, I was told they can give me pick up truck on Sept 2 as it is not available. I was shocked as I had a confirmed booking. I had to take cargo truck instead which I never wanted. This is totally unacceptable. This was my first experience with U-Haul which is not good at all. Amit

I was charged for things I didn’t agree to. I was charged $14 for insurance that I never asked for. I was charged twice for fuel. I returned the truck with the proper amount of fuel. My final receipt was $38.95 more than it should have been. My final receipt should have been $87

The rental location was not the problem. Three reservation department is horrible! I reserved a truck for Sat morning pick up in My Airy. Reservation scheduled my pick up at 530pm Sunday. Ended up having to pick up Chester Pa, 40 mins from my house. Check in process took about 30min with a reservation.

I had multiple units (4) I would have liked a discount for having that amount. Now that the rent is increasing I can't afford having that amount. I found the staff to be very nice.

When someone makes a reservation give the complete cost. I rented a 15' truck with insurance and was stated $327.00 I go to pick up and I'm told its 425.00 I had to drive 365 miles to take my daughter back to college and could've used that extra 100 for gas

Great staff. I dropped off at 8 PM after closing. I had a question that I emailed to the address on the contract.. Manager responded at 8:45 PM. No one does that!! I've always had great service and they seem to always have the equipment that I need at this location. I have used them for years.

Scam, I placed order through the app with no coverage, I modified my order via online and still checked no coverage and yet they discretely added safe move coverage for $14. Nothing but thieves and scam artist

when we arrived, The Manager there was yelling @ the employee on the phone that didn't show up. she complained to us that she's worked 7 days in a row now. it took 30 mins for her to check us out, saying the computers were slow. when we got the 2nd truck we needed, we waited 20-30 mins as it was crowded in there. only 1 employee again on a weekend. THEN - the worst was a few days after i returned both trucks, i see a fee for 3600.00 on my bank statement. i called to ask what it was about and the manager got loud with me saying it wasn't her fault, was the computers fault. then she saw that someone there put in the wrong amount of miles. should have been like 30, not 3000. we hope to get our credit back of over $3600 ASAP. i would like to be compensated for the INTEREST that my Credit card will get dinged for too. terrible experience. likely won't use again or recommend. sorry.
