Very unprofessional staff. Walked in and was greeted by 1 employee, but the other employee at the desk didn't even acknowledge me. I stood by the desk for a full 20 minutes( I was the only customer) I eventually said "Is anyone going to check me in" before I was seen to. PLEASE! train your employees on the basic fundamentals of customer service. Outside of that, the rental was fine.KEVIN R.
Nicole and the other "AGRESSIVE", LGBTQIA, were horrible. I had hope, upon approaching Nicole, that our interactions would be, at the very least, cordial, but no. It appears, you have hired OR they have deceived you in their talents and abilities. Finally, while my request was for three hours, you, your establishment, staff and policy, robbed of 30 minutes. The suspension was not tight. The service was horrible, lots of lying, exaggeration, intimidation, lack of customer service, patience even angst was shown at location towards customers calling. 11/4/2021 I left the Uhaul lot in a 15' truck that had both lift gate cables damaged. I didn't know this until afterbI hot to my destination andnm loaded the vehicle. I contacted the manager who begin to insist that I was the cause of the cables being damaged. She was extremely unprofessional and should not be in a management position they way she treated me. I contacted Road Side Assistance who also didn't see how the Uhaul location (staff) wasn't aware of damaged cables, but more perplexed as to why they would send the vehicle out without having it serviced by technician. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. PRIMARILY BECAUSE THEIR MANAGER WAS OVERLY AGGRESSIVE ABOUT AN ISSUE THAT WAS THE COMPANY'S PROBLEM, YET SHE WANTED ME TO TAKE A LOSE.ANDRE S.

U-Haul's newly implemented time restrictions on daily truck rentals is unreasonable and unfair to paying customers. I have rented several trucks from U-Haul in the past, and have never, never been told that I had a time limit. Other customers were complaining about this change as well. Was the change enacted U-Haul because the rent moratorium was lifted in Illinois and/or competition with other rental companies?HENRY C.

My mother had a storage and passes in 2019! They wouldn’t let me and my siblings take certain items they wanted us to take the entire storage and that was not possible. Most of the staff were nice, especially the woman that helped my mom and I out the day I arrived. I am definitely confused on how my card that I made the reservation with was charged 7. 95. I was told when I made the reservation that my card would not be charged. Also, my mothers card was charged for damages, 68.00 for damages that I did not cause. I don't think that's cool. I didn't get a chance to upload my own photos which I did take BEFORE we even took off with the van. I'd like to hear from someone at customer care @ 7735592909. We had a space reservation and it was not honored and that facility was then out of any available storage spaces. I was told that it was normal to have double booking of customers. In order to keep my movers, I had to order a truck and move cross town to another facility. This was unacceptable.KELLY F.

I purchased a bigger storage space. The sign at the entrance to enter the storage space said "24 hour access." I arrived at 5am and could not get into the facility for another 2 hours. When I asked one of the workers why does it say "24 hour access and I can't enter?" They responded, "we need to respond sign."NASH S.

I have a double charge of the CDW of 50 on my receipt. I agreed to pay 25. I don't understand I was qoute 53 online â€¦charged up front 74 and finished paying 119.. there are a lot of fees not mentioned at all through the process I feel like I was overcharged. The rep was rude I couldn't end the trip on my phone so I had to go in the office. Clearly she did not want to get up ! She never got off her phone nor put her plate downâ€¦ yes all while trying to serve me..She was smacking and eating using profanity not professional at all. Never using U haul again.RYAN H.
