My rental truck had a minor safety issue with the side view mirror on the passenger side. It was loose and would be out of view as the trucking is moving, which create a vibration. It's dangerous not to see your side.HIEU M.

I reserved two weeks in advance. I wanted to rent at the uhaul location and when I made the reservation online it acted as if though the space was confirmed and available. I do believe it's a shame no one checked in advance for customer to advise so that customer could have been prepared. Especially if they are seeking storage space. I know people sitting behind the desks see Reservations ahead of time daily. It's their responsibility to contact customers to let them know. Hughes burden placed on me to the move and then rush to find somewhere to put my stuff. Terrible service to say the least.Chassity W.

I used the app. And went to return my rental. The staff at the time of return was rude. I was returning my rental via app and she came to the door and stared at me for a while until I noticed her and said she would check in the rental. Trucks passenger side mirror flopped around . Passenger had to hold it so I could see . Almost hit two cars bc it would not stay in place. Then when we tried to do the after hours return online , the page refused to accept my location info. Just kept reloading so I was stuck with a $20 fee the next day. Extremely disappointing. I responded to the receipt email asking that at least the $20 fee be removed but so far no response. I would recommend only returning the truck when they're open.MELISSA T.

Just a note, not about Clarkston specifically. We picked up a four wheeled auto transport from an actual U-Haul dealer in Orlando. The trailer we got worked well, but getting the ties that hold the tires to keep the car in place were difficult to remove, one of them being nearly impossible because the cranking device that the straps are meant to be threaded through was very creaky and tough to move back and forth.Sully J.
We lost most of our things to mold in just 20 days of our stuff being stored there. Mold everywhere. I did four trips trying to clean it out and I came back to get the trash they already threw it away and charged me an extra$45 for it as if I didn't just lose items to mold in their unit. They were very insensitive and one young lady was talking about being petty about having to throw away items we came back to get. I highly recommend this Uhaul location - we rented two different trucks, a storage unit, and dollies. The staff were nice and competent, the facilities were clean and working, and owner, Wynn, was incredibly helpful, even taking her own time to help us after hours. We had lost our gate card access and she came to help us and was available by phone whenever we needed help.
