The online process of reserving and picking up a vehicle is for the most part pretty great. One issue I have with it is the confusion of which location I have selected when checking out. The biggest issue I had is not knowing how much gas I have to put back into the vehicle before returning it. The online process gives me nothing about that information nor how much I originally had left. I had no papers also to tell me about it.Sabrina F.

When we rented the UHaul our rep advised that we were required to bring the truck back before 8AM the next day (and where to park and leave keys) in order not to be charged extra. We did that and returned the vehicle by midnight instead and we were still charged an extra fee (after hours) and a cleaning fee. Will never be using this location again - bad business practices as these were â€œsurpriseâ€ extra charges. Not recommending this location.Courtney G.

The manager was very unprofessional and would not solve problems I had with gate entrance key. This was a big problem. One the key would not work and the manager said the system was down and she could not help. She was upset because I called her about problem with gate entry. My experience with U-Haul start off OK with the front desk but after I got the truck it appeared be fine but the Box in and of the truck smelled like garbage really bad I didn't want to put my items in there but I didn't have a choice at the time and I wasn't clear about my return time I didn't know they were charge me a whole day for being four hours late and I feel like they should not have charged me the extra maintenance fees considering I didn't have the vehicle any longer so maybe they can be clear on thatTony B.

My original reservation was covered in pet hair and just outright dirty. The replacement vehicle had a check engine light one, change oil light on and the brakes and tires were so bad that I had to return the truck because of how dangerous it was for the truck to be on the road.EBONY R.

Please make sure the straps and chains of the metal part that ties the tires on the trailer are in good working order. In my case upon delivery of the truck/trailer the metal hook was badly rusted it took a while just to make it turn the other way around.MESFIN F.

I had a reservation for a 20 foot truck I placed my order on the 15th for the 25th got to the location all they had was a 26 ft truck and no other trucks in the vicinity had my movers coming at 10:30 and I had truck scheduled for 10am so I had to take the truck or have nothing at all the lady had a very bad attitude wasn't helpful at all my only choice was the bigger truck ended up costing me double in gas I'm trying to get reimbursed but no one had called me back and I've been calling and holding for up to 30-45 minutes to still get nothing accomplished this whole experience with uhaul was horrible if I could give 0 stars I would not recommend any one to go to uhaul period I'm very upset and displeased about the whole experienceRyan H.
While in general I had no bad experience, before the security gate was installed it was sometimes difficult to access the storage as you would need to get a key from the office to get into the unit. Besides that, as time passed and management changed, the experience improved. The latest management team was very understanding and helpful. Unfortunately, my financial situation was disturbed and I had to surrender my unit. Thank you U-Haul for being there for me even at my worst. Was not happy because the storage unit I reserved was not available when I got to the location so I had to take a smaller unit because I had to be out of my home on the day of the rental and all of my things did not fit so I'm forced to get another smaller unit to fit the rest of my things. The online process was not clear. I got a call from customer service. I thought I was good to go but when I got there I wasn't done with the online reservation. I didn't know it. I rented the 10 foot truck twice in one week. I was delayed an hour both times. The first time they gave my truck to someone else. So I had to wait for the manager to come back from lunch to honor my reservation since mines was made before the other customers. Then I was told I had to be back an hour early because someone was able to make a reservation during my rental time. I was super annoyed on the way this matter was handled. The second time I reserved my truck I was blocked in for an hour. I also rented a storage unit, I purchased a lock from one cashier whom had to leave during my transaction for lunch. When I got to the other cashier she informed me that I needed to purchase a more expensive lock. I asked why would the other cashier let me buy the one I had if the rule was to buy the more expensive one. I asked her to either charge me the difference for the more expensive lock or refund me my money. She stated she couldn't do either. I asked why not? And was told I would have to speak with the manager. The manager was not there until the following day. So I had to purchase the more expensive lock as well. This place is horrible when it comes to taking care of customers. Especially when a customer reserves the 10 Foot truck twice and rents out a storage unit. I also brought the first rental back early so my second reservation would go smoothly but it did not!!!! I give the location on 4540 Washington Road Atlanta GA 30349 zero stars! Once I get all of my things from the storage unit I will NEVER spend my money with uhaul AGAIN!!!!Terrell I.

We come in to pick up reservation and the manager is ranting about Donald trump being a incestial pedophile and she would rather see Joe Biden have sex with another woman on live television. She then questions customers about who they voted for. Never got a copy of contract. This was all after I had to drive 35 minutes out of the way to get a uhaul. I would have definitely went with Penske or Ryder or any other moving truck rental if I knew the experience would be like this. Completely horrible. There were HUGE roaches in my stuff when I got my things out of storage. In total we saw 3 and I feel that this is totally unacceptable. The prices are pretty moderate to high, so I don’t expect to bring home pests. I am hopeful that none escaped the boxes while we were unpacking and disappeared.
