My customer experience was horrible to say the least. I've rented from this location once before 3yrs ago and didn't have this type of encounter. I am still amazed by the lack of information that was given to me from the beginning. NEVER again will I rent from this location or any other location to be honest. A simple move turned into a headache based on lack of communication from start. Telling someone that it is in the CONTRACT when the â€œ contract â€œ was emailed to me is an insult. I work in customer service management, so I know I need to GIVE information to my customers to avoid any hidden fees and uhaul needs to do the same. I am disappointed overall with the direct communication I had with customer service and the location(manager) Everything that was said, is what they don't do! how about telling someone what you CAN do! she gave me a refund for the overnight drop off, but it was the conversation leading up to the refund that was poor and this is why I'm leaving this review.Charnelle O.

U-Haul Moving & Storage of College Park at Washington Rd was really great but it was the third stop I had to make to get a trailer I reserved in Peachtree City GA. Granted I had to make a change in date to the original pick up however I made the change 3 days prior to the new date. At approximately 8AM, 2 hours before my 10 am pick up, Uhaul traffic called me and was told I would have to drive 45 minutes out of my way to Hampton GA to pick up the trailer. I arrived on time at 10AM however there wasn't a representative anywhere around and they did not answer the phone. I called Uhaul traffic and got the same representative who called the location, told me they weren't answering the phone and told me I would have to go to College Park, another 45 minutes in the opposite direction. The traffic agent did give me a $50 credit which compensated some for cost but not time lost as I had a 6 hour drive after driving 45 minutes back to Peachtree City to load. If, when I made the date change, I was told the trailer would not be available in Peachtree City we could have worked out a reasonable alternative versus me driving all over the state.David M.

The truck was clean enough, the wiper blades were shot and it rained so visibility wasn't great. Also, there is a fine line between efficient and detached/ rude and they crossed that line a few times. But they had the truck I needed and it ran well.ALEXANDER J.

The gas was on 1/8 but on the paper it was circled as 1/4. Obviously whomever registered it didnt do it correctly so when i brought it back on 1/8 they charged me for the 1/4. One i only drove 70 miles do you really think that 70 miles was a 1/4 tank?? I had to fill up twice! Which was 20 dollars total just to put it back to the 1/8 make it make sense and give me my money backKENDRELL W.

The self-registration was clear until I arrived at the store. I was asked to have 2 confirmations (via phone) and/or a passport. If this was needed, it should have been done well ahead of getting to the store. The store employee was unable to help. The call to the 1-800 phone took almost an hour to talk to a service support representative. This caused significant stress and I was disappointed with the experience.KENNETH H.
Truck was dirty. Someone else's candy wrappers were in the door panel, some unknown substance was sprayed across the rear view mirror and windshield (on the inside) and something was spilled on the floor behind the drivers seat. Drivers seat had lots of mud/dirt on it. I can tell someone dropped it off and it was just given to me. Not cleaned. Gross.JENNIE W.

The sales rep told me that if I return the truck after hours to "place the key in the box and make sure to park it in a safe space". I received a $20 service fee. I called and explained that I followed the verbal instructions I was given and the manger took off the service fee. I would definitely recommend this uhal location as the manager is kind and helpful.RICKEY L.

There was a reservation for 11:15 a.m. on 8 October 2021 and there was not a vehicle there at time of pickup. A transfer was made an hour and a half later, as I was sent to another location at Stone Hogan Connector Rd., where no one was present at that location and that individual stated that "they were headed out of town". when communication was made with a phone call. I went back to the Washington Rd. location to inform them that no one was at the previous location. I was finally informed that a truck was brought back while I was away and they could rent it out. The vehicle was dirty and consumed a lot of gas. I had to fill up about five or six times before destination. I did not receive a discount for all the problems I went through that day; the waiting or going to and from to different locations. This was the worst rental experience of my life.BRIDGETTE F.

This was my worst experience I've had with uhaul. First I ordered my truck online and paid $10 for a dolly. I get to pick up the truck and they don't have any dollys left so I had to go to another location. Next, when I'm getting ready to take the truck back it won't shift gears. I call roadside assistance who sends out someone to look at the truck and he says it's the transmission. Roadside told him to tow the truck. Cool. I then get an emailed receipt saying that my rental more than tripled in price! They charged me $90 for a dolly j never received and charged me for having the truck for 9 days even though I didn't! I made reservations for the truck originally at the Campbellton Road location a day I've had a time then when I went to pick up the truck at the schedule time they didn't have the truck available so they found the location on Washington Road which I had to travel several extra miles in the original location was less than a mile and a half from my house so that prove to be a extremely important inconvenienceJAIME D.

Front desk personnel was helpful, but the wait time was poor, since she had no one to help. Overall, I received some of the worse customer service, with this order. The issue is,I had to travel across town to this location to get the smaller 10foot truck, which was not what I ordered. Also, I have not seen the lesser rate for the smaller truck.
