You changed your policy between when I reserved and when I picked up. I do not carry a cell phone and you suddenly started requiring one in order to rent. I was told it was because it helps prevent equipment theft but you already have my name address, phone, driver license and credit card. What does a Cell Phone add, especially since I had to go out and buy a burner to complete the pick up. I had rented just one week earlier and there was no such demand. And by the way, the phone I purchased was not able to follow the link that you then sent in order to confirm my equipment condition and by the time I could follow the link, it had expired. I expect to be contacted with some kind of explanation for future rentals or I will not rent from you anymore and I do this at least a half dozen times a yeAR.THOMAS I.

The app checkout process is too many steps and cumbersome. This should be more efficient and more steps that can be done in advance. Ended up having to come here and rent a 10' truck. I went to the place in East Greenville originally. Tried to log into the app and could not load a picture. Online booking was horseshit. I only needed a trailer.. by the 6th or 7th pop up screen asking if I also wanted blankets or boxes or whatever else, I just called the actual location and had my reservation done in literally 3 minutes.Stephen B.

While the facility as well as the pick up of the vehicle went smoothly, I am disappointed at the unwillingness of the General Manager to waive the policy of not splitting the cost of the vehicle rental between two methods. I was completing a community event, and my community pre-loaded card had $151.00 remaining. My final rental bill was $156. The fact that I had to place my balance on my personal card rather than being able to work something out was frustrating and unfortunate.Scott H.

I returned a trailer same day as pick up. Brooklyn U-Haul gave me the wrong numbered trailer. Shouldn't be a big deal tho. I returned same day to U-Haul in PA. Everything was fine. a rep there accused me of not returned the trailer and charged me for an extra day before calling me.Blaise M.

Excellent experience with the renting of a trailer. I called on a Saturday for information of what I needed in order to transport a golf cart. Everything was fine until I got the bill. They charged me $18 dollars for 9 miles . When I call the guy was so rude and tolled me that is right and I left the truck running the whole three hours that I had the truck. When we pick up the truck was not 3/4 of a tank . Also I declined the $14 dollars insurance and they still charge me. My experience was Uhaul is such a ripoff.Tsvetomira K.

They did not have the trailer at this location. It was at Feasterville. The truck had a manifold leak which was confirmed at drop off and immediately addressed at the Greenwood location. I wish I had just picked up both the truck and the car trailer in Feasterville. Much better folks there.Robyn H.
Not sure it's U-Haul policy or bad customer service that the customer had fine the truck in the lot that I rented. The truck should have been delivered at the front just as I need to return it at the front door for inspection. Also, reviewing the truck for damages before I used it without a U-Haul representative is ridicules. This should have happen together they could have taking the pictures and download. The Van was not clean on outside took a little longer to inspect because of the dirt or scuff marks. The front window streaky very bad in the sun driving.James M.

The facilities are clean and well maintained, and the fees are better than at most places. Access hours are inconvenient, though, specially closing at 10pm is insufficient when one is running late because the truck was made available later than originally scheduled, pushing all other work back three hours. The unit I reserved was unavailable so I called customer service and talked to 3 people over the course of an hour before being forwarded to the Colmar staff. The best customer service reply I got from Colmar associates answering the phone was “yeah the website sucks for me too and messes up all the time”. I said that’s not a good enough solution for me and he said “I know the customer service reps on the phone are just sitting somewhere in their home out of state and don’t have any idea what it’s like to be sitting at a store location and have people screaming at them. I know you aren’t screaming at me though”. Horrendous reply when I asked for a reservation inconvenience fee. Once at the location, it took 3 workers and 15 minutes to actually get my unit. They miss billed me when I had a first month free and had to change all the paperwork again. I was as patient as I could be after an out of state move to be treated this poorly. I was charged for my first month of storage with my unit, when my UHaul truck rental was supposed to come with a free month of storage rental. I originally arrived to the Colmar Storage with a reservation, but I could not access the unit, and it was still listed as TBD. I called UHaul and was told to book a second storage reservation so that I could gain access, and that the reservations would be combined to give this unit as my free unit. The other unit was cancelled, however, the new unit was never moved to be my free monthly unit. This process took me 2 1/2 sitting outside the storage gate at UHaul in Colmar.Luke H. | Online Move In
