I have a bad experience with the truck that i rented that night. I am a mechanic, having more that 12 years experience in the field. I noticed that the truck might or may had a transmission or electrical problem while driving that night. At some point, it was just difficult for the transmission to go in second and third gears. Many times, I have to stop the truck because I was finding it difficult and uncomfortable with how the truck was driving. During the return, I even told one of your employees that i met that the truck needs to be checked. But anyway, thank God I made it safe at home that night.

Great location and service! Specific location for drop off. Just handed over the keys and staff inspected and sent a receipt via email. Was changed for the extra 2.2 miles we went over the estimated mileage which came out to be 95 cents with tax.



It was far from my location; why don't the trucks get moved to closer locations rather than forcing the customer to travel extra distance? Also, my companion had to help the employee get things straight in the computer to the effect that she was saying he should work for uhaul. Further, I believe she cancelled my connected storage reservation as I received confirmation after my phone call but arrived at the storage facility and was told there was not a reservation. The biggest problem was with the CSR that I spoke with on the phone; I was never told that my rate doubled when the drop off location changed. She was pleasant to speak with, but that was a significant difference to not be told about. I would not have even called to make the reservation if the website was cleared/easier to use.

All but 2 employees (which I didn’t catch their names) were super rude, talked down to me like I was stupid, and didn’t listen to me at all I had to repeat just about everything I said twice Mainly because they were two busy talking to each other, and got an attitude Because didn’t receive a phone call from them because I work in the woods and don’t have reception all because they wanted to cancel my reservation to give the trailer to someone else. I will never use this location again nor would I ever recommend anyone to use this location. It was so bad that I probably won’t ever use U-Haul in general ever again.

I reserved a 26 ft. truck but only a 20 ft. truck was available, which completely changed our moving plans.

I would say figure out your online web system for making the inventory of trucks (when you make the reservation for a truck rental) is synced up in real time. This way if/when a truck is deemed for repairs — the online inventory also is caught up so that truck will not say it’s available for rental - when really it not. The movers (Beaumont movers) were great! I would highly recommend Beaumont movers to anyone else looking to secure movers

Next time if somebody rent a truck, make sure there is no ice/snow on the windshield. Took me 20min to clean all the snow and ice off the windshield before I left the location.

When you pull in to return a truck, there is a sign that says "stop here for equipment return." It goes on to say how, if you are dropping off during business hours, someone will come out and help you to check in your equipment. I waited 10 minutes for someone to come out before I decided to just do the return online, and dropped the keys in a poorly-marked key drop. Left the truck where it was because there was zero other places where it could have been parked.

I only concern was I rented a trailer for two days. A side marker was not light and I pointed out and was asked are you driving at night? Hummm. Well yes and also it was raining both days were it is required by the state of Pa to have your lights on while driving in the rain. My expectations is that everything on my rental is in working condition. I also noted this on the initial evaluation.

It was an hour away from my location. Also, I was to have a larger trailer as a free upgrade for the inconvenience of driving an hour to pick it up and when I got there, they did not have the larger trailer.

Trailer was full of broken glass which someone said they were going to sweep out but it was not done. I was told I was buying 6 blankets for $10.00 but was charged $25.00 to rent them. Luckily I had returned with them in the trailer.

Don't promise equipment to support the rental when you do not have it. The agent had to call another location to find a furniture dolly, and I had to drive the rental truck to that location and collect the dolly, with the stipulation that it be returned there, and not with the truck. It's annoying when it could have been better.
