Angel HAppalling customer service. I reserved our truck online and had a reservation number. UHaul policy stated it was guaranteed the truck would be ready at the location at the time of my reservation. I stood in line for over half an hour to pick it up (there were approximately 5 customers ahead of me, but it took 15 minutes or more per customer with 2 people at the desk helping customers). When we finally got to the desk a half an hour past our reservation time, we were informed that they didn't have the 10 foot truck I reserved. We HAD to have a truck - we had our furniture and other items packed and our movers ready to go. I asked them what they could supply and they told us they had a 15 foot available. I asked about their guarantee and the promised $50 credit if they didn't have our truck and the person helping us, whose name tag indicated he was the owner, shrugged and said it wasn't their fault if people didn't return the trucks on time and since we were now "changing" our reservation, he wouldn't honor the $50 credit! Seriously??? The only reason we had to change our reservation was because they didn't have the truck we reserved! I told him this was unacceptable, that we had waited over half an hour to pick up the truck, they didn't have it, and they needed to make it right with whatever they had and NOT at a higher rate. He again told me they couldn't help it if customers didn't return the truck we reserved on time and he couldn't charge me the rate for the original truck I reserved. BAIT AND SWITCH! I didn't give up and he finally agreed not to charge us for mileage. He then proceeded to insist on a deposit for mileage. The 15 foot truck we received was in great condition and we were pleased with it, however, the way the reservation was handled, the insane wait time and what appeared to be mass confusion among the employees in getting customers set up with their rentals was HORRIBLE. The fact that UHAUL has a guarantee to have your truck and then DOESN"T and REFUSES to make it right is deceptive business practices. We did end up getting charged for mileage, but he finally gave us the 15 foot truck for the price of the 10 foot we reserved (a $10 difference). We should have received a $50 credit since the truck we reserved was not available. He complained that they had 3 ten foot trucks that had not yet been returned. This is NOT THE CUSTOMER'S PROBLEM! Don't make reservations so close together or charge a massive fee for late returns so people are more motivated to return them. If customers can't count on getting their truck when it has been reserved, what good is your service? People go to a lot of work to prepare to move and can't just do it another day. It is vital to have the truck when promised. Your truck was great and it's really too bad the management and customer service is so horrific. I will look for other options next time as I will never trust this UHaul location again and unfortunately it is the only one near us, so we'll have to go with a different company. This location needs to get their act together. The fact that the owner wasn't willing to make it right at all speaks volumes.
Nelson WIf you find yourself in need of a motorcycle trailer rental, I highly recommend U-Haul. The pricing is reasonable and the trailer is of very high quality. I had no issues hauling the motorcycle that I picked up 3hrs away from home.

I spoke with corporate customer service multiple times to confirm my drop off date and that my 30 day 10x10 storage was available to unload the 26 foot uhaul that I rented. And I received two 5x10 storage units to fit a 3 bedroom house in, causing me to have to leave a lot of the belongings I had planned to keep behind because there was simply no way to fit them with how we had to fit the furniture in the two mini storage units. Then the key card that was supposed be good until 10pm stopped working in the middle of us hauling everything and said to contact the store manager but they had just closed and we were supposed to still be able to access my storage units. It took me over an hour just to rent the truck because we were confirming that this storage was available. This experience made a hard process even harder.

Jeffrey SI was charged $43 in fuel-related charges, including a $30 fee for returning the truck under 1/4 tank, despite the fact that the truck was given to me already below 1/4 tank and actively showing low fuel warnings when I picked it up.
CODY SWe rented the UHaul to keep our furniture dry and the truck leaked. Moving blanket was soaked with water and furniture got wet also. New leather couch now has a water stain on the corner. I called customer service and they said they couldn't do anything for me because I waited to call after the weekend.

What I thought would be a simple pick up of an auto transport trailer turned into a 2 hour ordeal of trying to find and secure the right equipment for the EV vehicle I needed to transport. Bryan went above and beyond to make it happen. Calling stores in South Carolina and Georgia. Bottom line we got what we needed. We were able to transport the vehicle safely from South Carolina to Brentwood and couldn’t be more happy. Highly recommend. Thanks

Stan WI checked my rental in a day early, was told I’d get an email confirming the return in 10-20 minutes. It took 2 phone calls and one chat over a period of 3 days to get an email confirming I actually had returned the rental.
Chris FSee my first comment. It took over 1 1/2 hours to complete the pickup from from the time we arrived. The changes and delays threw my schedule off by 3 hours. I have never had an experience with Uhaul that even came close to the problems we encountered.

Connie BI reserved an appliance dolly and mobile pickup. When I got the truck I saw there was a dolly in it but when I got to my house I saw that it was a utility dolly only. After the move I returned the truck and the inspector asked about the appliance dolly and I said I didn’t get one. Unfortunately I was charged for it even though I never got it. There seems to be a disconnect between mobile pickup up and additional equipment reservations.

WILLIAM A | Overall ExperienceOne of the worst experiences I’ve genuinely had with any business. Horribly ran facility with rude and non-helpful staff. I was given the option to rent a 10x30 unit online clearly stating ONE unit was being rented. When I arrived, they questioned me and made me feel like an idiot saying they have no such unit, despite what I was offered/presented when I reserved. Instead, I had to move a 26 footer into THREE separate units nowhere near one another. They offered no apology or help and basically said I can deal with it. I will never go with, use, or recommend UHaul storage ever again due to this experience. I know this review more than likely will fall on deaf ears, but this facility and crew need to be addressed for their horrible customer service, visibility into rental options, and how to run an overall business.

willam J | Overall ExperienceThe parking for moving vans coming in to parking area was horrible. My moving truck had to unload in the busy entrance. Because there were too many unused moving vans, cargo trailers everywhere. there were personal vehicle parked in all the available customer parking spots and no where for anyone to park. At one point it was almost dangerous for anyone in the parking area to be walking or standing. I counted 5 U-Haul people working. 2 behind the counter with 10 people deep waiting in line, which meant 10 cars were parked everywhere not including the others coming, going and just dropping trucks, cargo trailers everywhere. 1 guy was trying to hook up trailers to cars. 1 was trying to get big trucks moved and the last guy in a broken ankle boot was outside trying to get customers calmed down and hooking up trailers to cars as well! Overall the overcrowding of moving vans, trucks, cargo trailers, the stressed out employees and lack of safe parking, made my experience less than 2 stars. The employees are not to blame, the owners lack of organization and lack of safety is the problem.

It was a tight lot with many rentals on it, but the staff made it easy. There were a few other logistics issues/IT glitches as well, but the staff fixed each of these and solved all problems. MICHAEL C | First ImpressionsMove in date was Friday, Dec 16th. I came in to check in at desk and told girl my ex was coming to pick up truck so I didn't hav to drive. I also switched my storage unit from a 10x10 to a 10x15 with her. When ex got there, she told him a unit that was a 10x10 unit, not the correct one, the 10x15 that was just changed. All the stuff was cramped in storage causing some damages. He had ask for a bigger unit, she said there was not any. Sorry, she did not pay attention to what she changed. An inaccessible loading dock is unacceptable considering the money I paid you. The new manager has business cards that say “text me” and I’ll help, but he rarely answers calls, texts or emails.

Most spaces were blocked by Uhaul trucks and a couple of cars that had rented trucks, but were not actively unloading or loading and needing the dock. On several different occasions we asked that someone please move a UHaul vehicle so we could pull up to the large loading dock (it fits about 8-10 vehicles, all spaces blocked) and they would not. They were never busy, so it was not a staffing issue. One time, they witnessed us struggling to get things to our vehicle (if not pulled to the dock it is hard to get to. your car) and one guy just kept using a week blower on the drive when we had begged them to move a truck so we could unload easily. Will NEVER go back to that location. STAY AWAY if you need access to your indoor storage facility!

It was out for a few weeks, I believe, and I was told they were trying to fix it. I don’t Know exactly how long it was broken, but I was concerned about my items. Fortunately nothing got ruined. Coming into 2021 summer, it still feels warmer (over 85) in the area so not sure if AC is still broken. You may want to check it out.

Unloading the truck and bringing my belongings into my storage unit was so easy here, as the facility had every cart I could possibly need. Oh and the staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable; they were able to help me choose the perfect sized unit.

The employees park in the customer parking, and there are trucks and trailers in front of all of the storage units which not only disallows ANY PARKING from being available but also, requires a call ahead to the facility, to request access in the front of your unit (to which no one answers). Although there are one or two employees there that are actually mindful of their difficult scenario and try to make it the best possible for the customer, the people who do work there have been put in a very difficult situation from corporate.
