Paid more than expected. I was charged way over the estimated charges eventhough I went only 1mile more than estimated. I tried to get an explanation of the charges by replying to email receipt (sending email twice) but have yet to get an response. Charges state by the day + mileage but I’m not sure how I was charged. Other than the over charge and the lack of response regarding my concerns, my rental was; Ok.

I turned the trailer in on Sunday, June 30th. They were very busy and I was told to just leave the trailer and my receipt would be emailed to me. I received nothing on Monday, July 1st. I called corporate and they had no record of the trailer having been returned. On Tuesday, July 2nd, I went to U-Haul and made sure the trailer was no longer checked out to me. It was. The trailer was still on the lot. It was then “officially” checked in and I received a receipt. This was a very unpleasant experience with your company. Three months ago I had no problem with a larger trailer. Feel free to contact me if you have questions.

The personnel inside processing orders were unprofessional and more interested in talking to each other rather than waiting on customers. The first trailer I got the GM had to come and stop me from leaving since it had something wrong with it and he said he had told them to not rent it. I spent almost 2 hours there picking up a reserved trailer that I had completed all of the pre-pick up paperwork. I won't be back to this location.

Employees are not motivated to service the customer, every phase of the process was like I was forcing them to help me out. I get it the pay scale is near minimum wage but still this is very common among my multiple uhaul experiences at multiple locations. The energy the attitude is just non existent. Good luck though uhaul.

The website indicates that the cost of a pickup truck is $19.95 plus $0.79 per mile. I was surprised when I received the final bill on my email that said rent price $89 with 100 miles included. In addition I was bill for 103 miles when I’m pretty sure I used a little under 20. I learned my lesson, I can’t trust U-Haul. In the future I’ll stay at the store until I see my final bill.

Make the return experience quick and easy. Have enough personnel to greet the customers instead of one guy having to deal with a long line...and after waiting a while for him to finish with his customer in front of me, I find out I don’t even need to stay. That would’ve been helpful information 15 minutes sooner so I wasn’t waiting for no reason. It was a crazy long day, I was sore and tired, as I’m assuming most people would be upon returning their truck. Thank you.

The manager Tiffany Pugh is the best woman in the world! She had too notch customer service and was able to multi-task to make sure all the customers in the place were happy and taken care of! Everyone left with a smile! Her jovial spirit made everyone feel so comfortable! I can say I have never had this experience when I have rented from this location! She deserves an award for going above and beyond!

Phone customer service is horrible. Can never get anyone to answer the phone. After being put on hold for extended amounts of time, I held as long as 25 minutes. Never got anyone in the store to answer. A central answering station answers and they have no clue what goes on in the stores. They ate just interested in taking your money. Rude, at best A simple question can waste 30 minutes of your day. Rediculous. The personnel in the store were very helpful.

The guy at the counter helping me wasn’t especially helpful. I was trying to check in using the app. It kept changing U-Haul locations on me when I was already at the location. It asked for money so I paid it. Then it wouldn’t let me change the location before entering. It moved locations on me again. At the end of working the app and it not staying on my current order I’d held 3 U-Haul at 3 different locations. And no one could refund the extra $200 as quick as the app takes it. I remember the last time I used the app it didn’t do all that. I told guy at the counter at this location and he had the attitude of it wasn’t his problem. Well it isn’t. But him working for uhaul May have some idea on how I can fix it. But he took the next $300 something dollars from me fine, handed me a dolly and pointed me towards a truck ok.

Overall it was a good experience. Y'all NEED to not have to validate an emergency contact. I understand 1000000% the need for an emergency contact, but the fact that the store needs to call them and validate the additional contact is the dumbest thing ever. Also I called this location/ uhaul number provided and I was on hold for over 25 minutes without being helped before hanging up. besides those 2 things it was good.

The office staff were helpful and I didn't have any problems with the truck. My only suggestion is that the floor of the store was quite crowded with boxes and other materials. Could be better organized.

Only issue I ran into was the gas situation. The paperwork showing how much gas was in the truck was off. I should have caught it before I drove off which was my fault. Other than that everything went really smooth. Been using this location for over 10 years now.

No one walked the vehicle with me and verified mileage, condition etc. The dolly in the cargo area was not secured and I found out when I opened the door and it fell out on to me. The appliance dolly I rented was damaged, the deck was bent so I had to lift my appliances up further than normal to get it underneath and then had to rock it back to secure. No one mentioned that I had to check in on my phone or I was subject to an additional charge (what if I didn't have a smart phone?) Thankfully there was still someone there that informed me. And the location services wasn't working so I had to come back with the keys the next morning to avoid the charge. I've used this location on multiple occasions, and won't likely return.

Was texted a drop-off location for the trailer many miles away from where I am in Austin. I called the pick-up location to ask if I could drop it off closer to where I am and was told that the manager would have to go into the system and change it otherwise I might get fined for dropping off the trailer at the "wrong" location. I got a a location in Austin and was told I could drop it off at any location that accepts U-Haul vehicles.

I used GPS to determine the distance we would need to travel prior to renting the truck. However, when I returned the truck, the mileage I was charged for was at least 14 miles over what the GPS indicated. Please double check that the speedometers in your vehicles are actually working correctly.

The only issue I had was that several times there were U-haul trucks being stored in the small number of parking spaces next to the dock which limited the access to the storage facility.
