DEMETRI AUhaul that was given to us had engine problems wouldn't drive faster then70 miles per hour was dirty and windshield wipers didn't work and it said something about the oil, which shouldnt they have checked that before it was rented out ?! Also the truck just wouldnt come up to speed fast enough ..

CASSANDRA LAfter hours return. With gate closed there is not enough room for a truck @ 26 ft. Two smaller trucks were there and some one was in the handicapped space. I had to leave the truck in slanted. No one was there, why do you make me answer about personnel when it was closed?

I KNEW I should've gone back into the office when the young Hispanic girl (big dimple on her chin) told me there was half a tank and there clearly WASN'T. The gauge was a tick short of the half hash mark. I figured, "oh well, when I fill it up, I'll most likely go over, so it won't be a big deal." Wrong! When I filled up before dropping off the truck the gauge was EXACTLY at the hash mark when I picked up, which was just short of the half hash mark. Wonder if that's by design??? Get ready for a class action lawsuit, UHAUL. The owner of the drop off location ended up charging me ~$12 extra to make up for the difference. BS! I'm requesting to be reimbursed.

On the up side of things, I went directly to the kostoryz store where the very nice and I might add very hard working lady there was very helpful in helping me with the rental I was in need of despite the website's problems.

And also failed to disclosed an additional charge if truck was not returned on time. This would of same me time and money. I had to get another truck somewhere else.
ANTONIA MDylan was very helpful and showed us several units and even said we would get a month free with our move. We opted to do the move in when we returned the truck so we didn’t run out of time with the rental. When we returned Destiny was not very friendly. Her customer service was subpar. She didn’t honor the free one month that Dylan told us about and basically said oh well pay the $110 or don’t get a unit. She seemed very unhappy to be there and acted like it was an inconvenience to even be on her presence. An unexpected expense is something you try to avoid when moving and destiny was no help with that.

Mena HTerrible experience. The staff seemed mad. The vehicle they told me I was getting was not the one I got. So I think the gas amount recorded was not correct and I got charged for more gas than I actually used because the tank in the vehicle I had was actually just above a quarter tank and they said it was a half. I was not told of the $30 charge if it’s brought back with less than a quarter tank. The whole vehicle rattled loudly. I tried to talk to the person about the gas and he said it was with the other staff person who was gone…he saw me getting in the other vehicle and didn’t t have a clue? Poor service, will not be back. I feel cheated.

Kanayalal D | First ImpressionsWe drove up and the guy said thank you you can go home. I asked about the price for gas I was on half a tank and needed 3/4 I think charging 51 dollars was a little extreme after paying over 900 dollars for the truck.
LUR GInitially we had a pleasant experience when retrieving the rental, e.g. manager allowed us to leave our personal vehicle on-site during our rental time, HOWEVER and thereafter the primary U-Haul back doors had issues before we left the property. We were informed that it had to be pulled "harder" than usual. The next afternoon the doors failed to open whatsoever. Roadside arrived approximately 5 hours after-the-fact, as we were informed after an hour or two that roadside wasn't going to arrive because they didn't have anyone available and wasn't sure the issue could be repaired. The roadside attendant that finally stated that he believed the cable was stretched/worn and that it should have been repaired prior to our rental. The roadside attendant modified/lubricated the door, BUT unbeknownst to us, also lubricated ALL the doors. We had grease all over our hands. I even fell backwards to the concrete due to the backdoor, bled on my arm, etc Also, prior items, e.g. keys and personal receipt/information (address, driver license #, etc.) were left in the vehicle from prior renter(s), as in more than 1!!!! Hiccups happen in life, HOWEVER neither employee or manager cared about any of the issues, as neither apologized for ANY inconvenience and or incidents.

TERESA JWhen I went to drop off the truck the man that was there he was vary rude. He did not want to help us and did not want to answer our questions. He brushed us off and had other people waiting and never came inside to talk to anyone we had to go look for us didn’t even know who we were or anything. Now the guy in the morning when we went was amazing and nice he answered all our questions and was very helpful.

Shermaine WIt was not this location, but U-Haul, and how they handled the situation. I made a reservation. I confirm my reservation. I checked in the day before. It took numerous phone calls and visits to 6 locations for them to give me any kind of a truck and a trailer. Not to mention roadside assistance because no one knew how to secure the car. And then again a few hours later when all the straps were off. When I finally got to my destination in the oversized truck (I had reserved a 15 foot, and would have been okay with a 10, but driving a 26 foot by yourself 1400 miles when the damn car isn’t secure and the auto transport was hooked up inappropriately, and the vehicle doesn’t go over 57 miles an hour is: unsafe, a waste of money (it costs a bloody fortune to fill up), and a waste of my time. Shame on you U-Haul. Do better!

MICHAEL GThis should have been my drop off location. Spoke to a rep earlier in day and said that I was suppose to go here when in fact I reserved to drop off at different location. I had to drive an additional 15 min out of the way. I was very disappointed with the persons I spoke to on this issue as they dismissed me and had an attitude. They said I had agreed to drive out of my way which is a lie. When I finally went to place to drop off the guy asked me off the bat if I had hit a tree. This was a bad experience which added to the stress of my moving day. I will not us uhaul again .

I did have to purchase my own battery-operated light for my unit since only the main hallways are well lit. The only suggestion I have for improvement for the renter's experience would be to have flatbeds available in the hallways so we may use them during the moving process. Overall, I had a great experience renting from this facility, and the online payment portal was very helpful and easy to use. Everyone I spoke to in the main office was friendly and helpful. If there were multiple trucks being staged or people getting into their units in building A, there was nowhere to go, you waited outside the gate in the little parking lot. Other than that, the buildings were well maintained and no sign of bugs or rodents. The office was really easy to find.

I'm 100% disabled.. she put me on restricted access.. I use the unit to rebuild bycles and electric panels. There were other customers there who put tents up stayed 24 hrs.. she didn't say a word to them. I put the tarp bc it was pouring down rain..wen the sun comes out it's very hot.. I'm on 6 different meds.. some of the meds make me sensitive to the sun.. I explained to her she said she didn't care get out.. I'm never late on payments.. she said I disrespected her bc I put the tarp up to work on some tables. She told me to get out in 1 day.. again I'm 100% disabled disabled Vietnam vet also..I was always polite to her.. she wouldn't let me stay late and pack the 20 ft truck I rented from uhaul. Turned my clicker off. I'm 66 no help. She would not let me make shade with the tarp to move out.. she's a horrible person.. if I had any compensation for terrible treatment I received it would b to fire her .. I thnk she had in for single men..
