We had to wait 15 minutes before anyone assisted us in the retail office to pick up vechile. Returning the vechile took forever through your online return system, your scan bar would not scan. I would not return to this local. All other locations I've rented before were as easy as, just park the vechile and drop the keys, easy as that.Lourdes A.

I had originally reserved a 20ft truck and I was contacted the night before saying it was not going to be available. I was extremely disappointed as my moving plans couldn't be changed. I was then found a 15ft in the same location, wasn't to happy because it was a big difference I was going to take it because again I needed it. As I was checking it out in the am the manager came up to me and offered me a 17ft I ended up with a 17ft. Much better then a 15ft. A bit of a difference in size again from the one I originally wanted, but much better i thank her for her help.All I want to say is please it's not ok to change plans all of a sudden in truck size, especially with a reservation made days before. I'm happy with the end a 17ft but of course the 20ft would have been better.Jessica H.

Took the workers about an hour and a half to rent me a $38 trailer. The girl that was helping me kept disappearing and the other three guys didn't seem to care much just sat at their counter. A little better customer service would help. Time is money and I don't know how you guys stay in business with those kind of employees but that's your business. The worker that helped me also was it very knowledgeable about the wiring. Had one blinker on the trailer not working and worker was telling me it was a fuse on my truck but my truck blinker was blinking. I figure it out myself that was a bad plug with no help from the employee. Thanks a lot.I even went in and bought a new plug and wired it myself without the help of your staff. Actually your agents are very polite and helpful except that i was made to understand that I could pick up the truck on Rowland St. in Covina but when I got there and called the number provided to me I learned that I couldn't and had to go to the No. Azusa Ave. location because the reservation was put under my son-in-law's name. I was able to pick up the truck but I could have saved time and money if I was told to do so from the beginning and also if the reservation was put under my name. I did the calling myself and gave my name to the agent but somehow it ended up having the reservation under my son-in-law's name. I had to pay two guys for an hour each doing nothing because of this. Again, all the agents I spoke with were polite and tried to be helpful.Consuelo R.

Again, understaffed and spent tons of time waiting in line. After getting set up with storage, we waited to return the trailer but there was a long line waiting inside and no one could come do the trailer return, it was 103 degrees outside where we were waiting. I don't think this was the staff's fault, there should be more support and better training. The staff here were nice (unlike santa rosa location) but not efficient and seemed like they needed more help to be able to manage customers efficiently.Amanda F.

Everything fine until I emptied my units. I had 2 units, almost $300 a month total, rent due on the 4th. I moved out of California, unfortunately June 4th only dat movers could come, was charged full rent till July 4th, including insurance on empty units, as soon as units empty they put ready to rent tags on, my daughter went to office to demand those be removed, she replaced my locks on and had to go back on June 27th to surrender units. Why the double dipping? Why insurance on empty units?? I never had problems before this, but will never use U-Haul again, no matter what. Over all a “so so” experience. I’m not happy with the fact I was prorated on my month when I signed up but when I checked out in the middle of the month I was told no prorated month! So you take money for a half month, but you don’t return money if you leave early?! That’s wrong. I was told you pay for a whole month should’ve stayed for a whole month! Several times while on auto pay my billing was subject to a penalty for being late! A mistake by management. I had to take time out of my day to go and request they fix their mistake. And again No sorry here’s a little discount on the next month. The homeless situation is also a downside.
