Communication from the location was the worst. Initially, my UBox was set to deliver on Dec 9th but never arrived. I called to find out nobody was there to deliver it; I was credited the delivery charge. I called weeks after to inform them I was done. I was told the driver would call and let me know when they were coming. 3 days later, I ended up calling again and they couldn't even find record of me. Communication is a big deal, so I don't think I will use your company's services again.

Took over an hour to turn in the truck. The cost of uhaul is a complete shock. I can't believe how expensive it is.

Truck was really old. Need to update to newer models. I got the truck under the line showing half full on the gas. Lady said I need to bring it back at half tank full. I still spent $12 on gas to bring to to half a tank full. And I only used the truck for 4 hours and drove 10 miles. I was scared the truck would break down. Not a good experience.

Uhaul changed my pick up location on me. The service at the location was horrible. They had one person working the counter when we went to pick it up with 2 people in line ahead of us. She couldn’t find the key to the truck we had been assigned, which took additional time for her to look for it and call other employees to see if they knew where it was. She was rude amd seemed to be texting the whole time she was waiting on customers. We had to wait for over 45 minutes. When we went to return the truck after hours, the key drop off box could not be found. When after 20 minutes of searching, we found where it looked like it had been taken off the wall.... it took additional time to then call the 800 number to find out what to do. They charged me for fuel when I dropped it off with the same about as when I picked it up and charged me for having to sweep out the truck and fold the blankets. I will never rent from this location again.

Next time let the customer know when a box arrives at a terminal, I wasn't informed that my box arrived to my new location and was waiting around to see when it would come through. It wasn't until I had to make the call to ask why my box wasn't sent over to find out that it was in the station the whole time, then having to "schedule" a time to send over the U-box when everything was already preset to arrive by the time I stepped foot into my new home. It arrived safely I guess.

The workers are very rude. They need to work on their communication skills ALSO, I had a very hard time getting my deposit back. I kept getting the run around for 3 days until the problem got solved. I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! Horrible service.

I returned the trailer a day early, and got charged $20, plus the day charges for the next day. why return it early, if I pay for the non-used day, and a $20 charge also. (which is higher than the day rate)

Only one lady behind the desk was friendly. Both men I worked with one month seemed to have chips on their shoulders. Assistant Mgr. Mike was flat out rude when we moved in one month ago.

This is the only location that has to call around to my friends and associates to make sure I actually exist .... I've been a registered user of Uhaul more than 10 years ..... if you use this location, be ready to feel like an unwanted customer

The team member that helped me was Pamela Hosking. She was super nice, explained all aspects of using the trailer. She was the one who helped me connect the trailer, and gave me instructions on the return. She is a super employee, and no, I did not know her prior to this rental. The Crosstown location is lucky to have her taking care of customers.

Improve the self checkin feature on the phone (it took way too long& i still had to go inside) If a vehicle isn't available at the location someone picks maybe provide a discount, a free upgrade, or take a vehicle over there (more mileage + more gas= higher cost)

Assistant Mgr Mike gave me a hard time about turning in the trailer 90 minutes late despite electrical issues the night B4 and not calling roadside assistance. Had to involve mgr. to avoid a late fee.

This was the 3D location I was sent to. I originally scheduled at the closest to my home. The U-Haul moved my reservation to a 2nd location. After waiting in line for 30 minutes I found out they have no trailers and send me to a 3rd location where I had to wait in line for another 30 minutes

Love the concept of Ubox - was difficult from the beginning to rent online - I got to a point in the order where it said to call the 1-800 number. I called and they said "no dates available" which is why I wasn't able to complete my order. She was not helpful and was abrupt. A day later I checked my credit card and had been double charged for the rental / move of a UBox. I called again (during the daytime) and someone very helpful helped me "cancel" the double order and credit my money back. We began all over again and she was able to get an order placed. I was disappointed on the UHaul receiver of the U-Box in Corpus - U-Haul Moving & Storage of Crosstown 3611 S Port Corpus Christi, TX 78415. We used a recommended local mover through your site for pick up, deliver and unload. They pick up often from them - and said "they used to let us pick up the boxes early in the morning (you have to realize the heat index in South Texas yesterday was 115F) - but now they do the "U-Boxes" last so we can't pickup until after 12pm. Gabe and Sons made arrangements for pick up at 1PM. They got there on time only to call me to inform me that UHaul did not have the UBox ready for them and it would be at least 45 minutes until they got the UBox on the trailer. I had to travel in 55 miles to the location of the available storage unit where I was receiving delivery so "sat around" waiting. I then received a call from a woman at UHaul that "gruffly" said "your payment is short - you owe us $11 or I won't release your UBox." I asked her why as I had prepaid through UHaul and they calculated all of the charges. She said "you didn't pay for the trailer that Gabe and Sons will use to bring the UBox to you." It was her tone that didn't show good customer service - like it was "my fault" and "I'd better pay up" - Just seems there is room for improvement on the "logistics" from placing the order and the UHaul receiving end - the 3rd party movers were good - especially the ones we used in Gunnison Colorado. PS Some of the boxes were "crushed" and one even broke open on a side seam upon arrival. I used only UHaul Boxes ordered online - - the box quality was poor and some boxes were even not "shaped or cut correctly" - ie looks like they were cut wrong at manufacturing. I have been able to purchase higher quality UHaul boxes from local vendors. Another area for improvement to not taking advantage of your customer - especially if you want us to reuse your service and/or recommend us to your friends.

Lots of mice and roaches. Staff was always friendly and helpful but my furniture had chew marks. I had rat or mice droppings on all my stuff. My mattresses were torn apart by the mice. Ruined items.
