WILLIAM TThe scheduling at this location needs to be revisited. i scheduled 8 boxes and expected delivery on day 1. The boxes could not be delivered on day 1, because the labor scheduled was insufficient to deal with the workflow. This appears to be a gap with the reservation/order versus what local capabilities are. This led to an unacceptable delay, which luckily the local staff was able to work through, but at a significant cost. The resulting delays turned a single day operation into a 3 day operation. This impacted travel plans and stressed out everyone involved. This is not how my previous ubox moves were handled, so the problem must be related to this location and ordering details. I strongly suggest that the protocol of one trailer at a time be revised, or that the order acceptance select a mover that can meet expectations. The phone order handlers must understand the limitations of the site as well as the moving companies so that when contracts are signed they can be honored as intended. Uhaul is still the best option for moves, but I cannot definitively recommend the solution as i have in the past. Fix this and repair your reputation.
Brian MIt’s has been a great experience and I will always use them. They should create a points system for the amount of time you are a resident there. So the next time it’s a lower fee or a discount for returning customers since the amount of time spent faithfully.

LAMONT TWhen I dropped off the trailer they said I was good to go so I believed them. I thought they would check in the trailer but 10 days later I get a bill saying the trailer was delivered 6 days late and delivered to the wrong location so I was getting billed again for over 300 dollars because someone didn’t check in the trailer when I returned it. So what you can do is check in the equipment as it is turned in a give a receipt for it.

LESLIE DThe straps for the vehicle trailer, kept coming off, every hour, for the first day of driving. We believe, they were too dirty, greasy and worn and would keep loosening and falling off, from the condition, heat and humidity, in our opinion. Thank God for the safety chains. Later in the evening, we were finally able to figure a way, to keep them secure, partially due to how we used them (doubling up the straps) and partially due to the lower temperatures and less humidity (in our opinion, the main reason). Everything else was excellent, truck, equipment and trailer wise. The people at the pick-up site were very courteous and helpful. They deserve credit.
SCOTT LExtremely slow service. Nobody behind the counter was in any hurry at all to help anyone. Why reserve a trailer if you still have to wait 30 minutes at the counter? The trailer I reserved was not what I was given. Instead of the large full ramp it had a very small 4' drop gate that was just barely big enough to drive the ATV through. We had to use a separate ramp because a drop gate is not a ramp.
RAYMOND FThe process of picking the trailer up was easy. The equipment was in very good condition, it was clean and smelled like air freshener. The employees were knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and polite. For all of those things I will give FIVE STARS. My only complaint was that the bathroom was very dirty. I was at the pick-up location early in the morning so I could tell the bathroom had not been cleaned that day or probably not even the day before. For the bathroom I would give a rating of only TWO STARS.

Donna RU-Haul changed the length of my truck and never informed me. They also changed the location, so I had to drive 45 miles to get the wrong truck. My husband and I called customer service and the person was very rude and hung up on us. This made our 10 hour move to Dallas much more stressful. Very disappointed.

Lamont TI was told my vehicle would fit on this trailer. I expressed concern about it not fitting and was told if it did not fit, I would be issued a refund. When I returned the trailer, I was told that there were no refunds. Do not mislead customers

EVAN WParking was a hassle. Our truck was in rough shape, cracked windshield which wasn't marked on inspection and the truck bed was dirty. Luckily staff discounted our rental due to it being dirty and noted the crack, but it just shows these trucks need to seriously be serviced. It seemed they had two people on staff and were busy so a third person could have helped outside as most trucks were clogged up in the return bay. Staff were friendly and professional, though. I won't return to this location purely on building location alone. Parking and navigating the lot was a nightmare.

bobby eEveryone I spoke with was friendly but not very helpful. The whole experience was terrible really and I will never use or recommend Uhaul again. In addition one of the movers we used from moving help was terrible and even threatened me when I left them a bad review. We had alot of damaged stuff and none of it was covered despite all the various insurances I purchased. Every customer service interaction I had ended in frustration and lack of resolution. The only good thing about my experience is that it is over.

PHILIP GDidn't have our truck but had an equivalent. It worked out but it seems like we can never get the pickup truck and that's all we need. The other cost more in gas and is just way too big for our needs . Glad to have the job done but it cost way more than was planned.

GARY H | Overall ExperienceIn San Antonio the I was robbed by the Alamo moving solutions the owner.. I have texts. Said that he didn't do it and would stop and talk to the very young worker. He stole $220. Out of my wallet I knew how much I had exactly because my daughter helped me count it. And I also gave the owner of the Alamo moving 20 tip and boy 20 tip. So I knew exactly how much money I had no one else came in or out of the apartment or came near the moving truck my purse was on the ironing board in the living area close to the kitchen. My purse was open I had faith no one would stick their hands in my privacy my purse in my wallet. I got off to put gas and all of my money was gone. I called them texted the owner he was the one who was loading the uhaul he was very sweet. He said he was getting off the freeway to talk to the young man and he told me that all my missing money would be returned by him that he would call uhaul to return my loading fee by his company and would cash app me or send me the rest in a check and would keep me updated he said that in 14 of services he had never experienced this issue had him in other words embarrassed and upset I believed him. He said this would be resolved by Saturday today is Sunday I left him texts yesterday received no response. I'm very worried uhaul set me up with this company is this a normal thing to get robbed by the people uhaul recommended to their clients. I'm appalled upset want my money back from the movers I know I'm an easy target because I'm a woman alone my sisters are very upset. I need resolution Alamo moving solutions owner promised id get back what was stolen from me. I can't believe anyone while at work would have the odassity to put his hands inside my purse open my wallet and steal all my money. My children are very upset as well they are 31 and 34 they said this is why u shouldn't have left. The movers in Corpus Christi were a joy. I'm using them again. Speedos movers. Impeccable work. The work Alamo moving solutions did was great as well except for the getting robbed for $220. That was in my wallet after I had given a tip from my heart. Please get back to me. 210-718-3806. I only came to corpus to start over after an awful divorce and my kids are grown and living their own lives married with children I have a heart condition and my sisters will care for me til I pass but this was a terrible experience. angelique m | Overall ExperienceSet up my reservation for climate controlled on SPID when I left Houston with everything I owned only to find out that they didn’t have anything available when I arrived and I had to change locations to a place I didn’t want my stuff stored and no climate control. And after all of that guess what my unit was broken into and everything I owned was stolen. While it will never be proven because no one cared to check the camera that is directly above my unit I know that it was your staff that did it because I need an access card to turn the door alarm off which the only other ones with access are your employees and they replaced my lock with a U-Haul lock that inevitably had to be cut off just to find all of my stuff gone. I will never use U-Haul again and I will go out of my way to ensure no one else I know ever does. Worst experience with any company in my entire life.

Joesph G | Overall ExperienceThis unit is advertised extremely poorly. It would not fit a 2-3 bedroom home up to 1200 square feet. On top of that there was no light in the unit. Split level is not clear that you have to go upstairs. And there were homeless people hanging out inside

I would choose to store again if I absolutely had to. However, I would not have opted to lose all by belongings to a storage facility.

Online pay made it easy and although prices were raised I had the option to repay at the lower previous rate. I was concerned that at the end of the lease I was told my contract ended on the 30th and not the 31st I would not only owe an additional month rent but could not end my contract until it was paid in full. A quick email to the manager cleared up the issue.
