They didn't have the equipment i reserved over a month ago, they disnt want to help me find a biffer truck. I had to leave some of smmy stuff in storage because it wouldnt fit in my truck. One of the employees was very rude.

I have used U-Haul for every move I've madder in my life. I also rent trailers for my furniture buying business and have never had any issues whatsoever. This experience though was different and I'm very disappointed. First, I reserved online and also checked in online (said it would reduce my wait time--it didn't) and when I showed up expecting it to be a quick pickup it wasn't. When I showed up not one employee outside greeted or told me they'd be right with me. When I went inside the employee sitting at one of the desks was typing on a computer and told me he'd be with me in a minute. He then proceeded to take phone calls while I stood waiting. I was in a hurry to meet the movers so I was impatient but c'mon, I'm in customer service. You take care of the customer in front of you first. Once he got off the phone and finally got me in the truck it smelled like vomit. Not the biggest deal but I'm telling you about my whole experience so fyi, it smelled like puke. Then as I'm driving to meet the movers the sun visor overhead FALLS OFF and hits me in the eye! I attempt to put it back on at the next red light and it falls off again. Done. I put it in the floor board. I finally make it to my apt. And low and behold, the furniture dolly I reserved and paid for is not in the truck. I've driven across town to start loading, I have guys I'm paying by the hour to help load waiting and I have to drive back across town to get the dolly. I asked if they could start the mileage over since I've now wasted miles on their error. Guy says "yeah sure" but didn't even check the mileage so I make him come out and make a note of the new mileage. He told me he would make a note on my account so that it would be charged properly. It wasn't. Not only was I overcharged for the additional miles but because I also had to pay movers to sit and wait on me my bank account is so limited at this point that I didn't have sufficient funds to cover my automatic car payment (which I explained to the employee I called and spoke with about the overcharge). I did get an email saying I had received a credit but it still hasn't posted to my account so now I'm not only negative but I've also incurred a $35 overdraft fee. I'm calling Wells Fargo to explain that had it not been for U-Haul's error I would not have been negative in the first place and hopefully they will refund that but I shouldn't have to deal with all the extra stress on top of the stress of moving. Again, I'm not typically a complainer....I work in customer service and I know the challenges, but this entire experience start to finish left such a bad taste in my mouth that I had to let you know, AND I'm still being inconvenienced by your employees' error.

My reservation #9033065 pick up location was 1201 N.Chaparrel Corpus Christi Tx . Had to drive to 3611 S.Port Corpus Christi because they forgot to transfer to pick up location. Then I explained why I was late dropping off they still changed me twice. Would not work with me at all. Will not rent from either location again . I want to hear back from someone at corporate about a refund for one day.

Got ere from the airport via Uber, was told my reservation was moved to another location by corporate and that I got a call that am, when I explained my position, not receiving a call as I was on an airplane, and no way to get across town, The employee, Mike, made it happen for me and moved the reservation back to his location. Thank you Mike!! Just have to wonder why corporate moved my reservation... and who claims they talked to me that am, while I was actually on an airplane! No missed call either on my phone. Again, thank you Mike!

I drove 2 hours from san antonio,tx to corpus christi, tx to pick up a reserved 10 foot truck, when I arrived and inspected the truck, the back door would not open, it was broken, the truck had not been inspected for damage, I was told that I would have to wait to see if they could find me another truck, I was very upset because I took the day off from work, drove 2 hours to get the truck and then the door did not work and I had movers waiting for me at my home charging me by the hour, I waited almost 1 hour for them to see if they could fix the back door, which they were unsuccessful, I agreed to drive the truck since I needed it, It was a horrible experience, those back doors are really heavy. I was not satisfied at all.



Everything went well! Had to get a bigger truck because there wasn't any smaller ones but they worked with us on the price difference! I will be back soon to rent again!
