I have been overcharged as facility did not record me returning the trailer the evening of the day I rented it. I was called following day and asked when I planned to return trailer. I advised of my early return and the woman said she would look into it and hung up the phone on me. VERY unprofessional!

Make sure all fees are said up front, I used the site to figure out how much my total would come out to, but they decided to charge me $40 a day or two after I dropped off the rental. It didn’t even state what it was for, no one has properly explained it. Kinda sucks that if you need to move Uhaul is pretty much your only diy option for renting a truck.

UHaul is one of the largest trunk rental companies in my area. Though it has convinced and many locations. The drop off after hours is a terrible process. I had no idea what to do. I was tired from the move and didn't have to watch your video. I was not happy by the time I figured things out. I complained the entire time while speaking to after hours. The rep I'm sure wasn't happy with me. I keep letting her know it was nothing she did.

Train the staff to know if the receiver (ball) is properly installed on the vehicle. I had to have some one turn the receiver (ball) the correct way on my car cause it was not on my car the right way. I would have damaged my car or the trailer but a family member noticed the receiver (ball) was on my car the wrong way. It was about to drag or if I would have hit a bump or pot hole there would have been some damage. Thankfully a family caught it before I started my long journey to another state.

The one thing that I wish Uhaul would do is provide the adaptor as part of the trailer rental to adapt the wiring to the vehicle. I have factory towing package, so figure that is a standard plug. I should not have to buy an adaptor that I may never use again when renting a trailer.

You’re after hours check-in process is extremely poor. Asking the customer to walk around the vehicle and take a dozen pictures seems over the top. It should be mentioned upfront in the instructions to drop the keys in the dropbox as the very last action. At the very beginning of the check-in process, give the customer an outline of the steps they are going to be taking and mention that dropping the keys in the dropbox is the very last thing they should do. I really disliked performing a visual check in of the equipment by taking all those pictures. That’s not my job.

I had problems with my trailer lights and they helped me and were non judgmental, focusing on what the problems could be. I appreciate there being someone onsite when I pick up my trailer who is knowledgeable and willing to help.

I recently rented a moving truck from U-Haul for a 1,600-mile long-distance move. The truck they provided was unsafe, exposing me, my passenger, and a family pet to hazardous conditions in the cabin. The tire pressure warning light came on multiple times, forcing us to make unnecessary stops that wasted both time and fuel. Water also leaked into the cargo area, nearly destroying valuable electronics. I attempted to resolve these issues with U-Haul corporate. After initially offering a “gesture of goodwill” — a $50 compensation for the inconvenience — they went silent. Sorry, but $50 doesn’t cut it when you’ve put people, pets, and property at risk. My advice: don't bother going through U-Haul’s complaint process. They don’t care. Instead, take photos, document everything, and consult an attorney. Then sue them.

I have rented from this location for several years. This time there were issues that surprised me. The gas level and outgoing mileage were wrong on my paperwork. The miles were under reported on my paperwork and gas was overstated. I have never had a problem at this location with numbers being off like this. It felt a little sketchy.

Staff was great. Pick up and drop off were both fast and efficient. I did not open the trailer until I got home and found there was a bit of debris and broken glass on the floor. Debris pieces were various sizes 6-12 inches and broken glass up to a few inches in length. It only took a few minutes for me to sweep it up but I would have preferred a clean trailer to start with.

There was a glitch in which my order was cancelled. This was a huge problem that was fixed by someone at the location the day before my rental. Big screw up at the corporate level was fixed by someone at a branch location. Don’t know how this happened. Very frustrating but thanks to a local person I was not screwed. Do a little better at the corporate level!!

My ONLY complaint is that the truck did not have a ramp, and I was moving very heavy antiques. Other than that, everything else was perfect!

I just personally want to say that upon entering the establishment Crystal and Josh were very welcoming before I even reached the counter! Very welcoming, the other employees were busy as well, but I was already having a morning and they eased my mood and made everything pleasant from beginning to end!
