I create surveys for my job and this survey could really use some tweaking. Answers shouldn't just be "yes" or "no" or "N/A"..maybe a rating scale would be better. Not enough customer parking, not enough staff, long waits when people are already stressed from having to move. Tried to do it all online/24/7 share and STILL had to end up waiting in line. Horrible experience! All I can say is that the one competent guy that was working there was very nice and friendly with a very helpful attitude. We dropped off our trailer just before closing time and the employee made sure that we got our trailer in the compound and de-hitched very efficiently and was polite even though he was very busy. He told us that there was no need to take a verification photo and that he would email. We did not receive an email and when we were sent the invoice we were charged for late drop-off. The truck was a little rough and the rolling door latch jammed into the door mechanism more than once. Generally speaking, the truck performed and drove well enough for in-town use. I did not take it on the highway, however. This location was very efficient and all of the staff were friendly.Joshua H.

I called and I spoke with Joshua I explain the error of the gas tank the truck was half of the tank on the paper was 1/4 more. He was negligent to solve my issue. I took photos a soon get the truck I showed to him but he did nothing. Vage very vage attitude. The actual van was good, the problem was the service at the counter and not the fault of the customer service agent. Your computers and software are terrible. Everything takes forever. tried to return a wrapping paper I did not use, after the rental, and it took the agent literally 35min to process, while the line was getting longer and longer. When I picked up the van there were two agents and on the return only one agent at a time when people return or pick up their equipment. Even online. The truck smelled of weed. The cab was infested with ants and spiders. The truck was covered in ants. When we returned the vehicle as instructed with the requested amount of gas, we were told that we did not put in enough gas. It was super complicated to schedule the boxes. The local person didn't know how to do it or even the pricing. Calling takes so long â€“ you are on hold forever!Meg H.
Only problem is that it is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to someone when trying to call them. And then they say one location, assure you of the location availability and 2 minutes later the call center calls to confirm with a DIFFERENT location. This is the 2nd time I have used this location in a week and the 1st time was amazing. The check in process was great and the guy who got me the van was a huge huge help...really recommend that guy, dark long hair but didn't get his name. I came in at closing, like 4:58 but I beat the 5pm time and the guy was closing the gate but let me park inside the gate and said I made it just in time. He said he would take care of check in that I didn't need to come inside because he was closing and it was starting to rain. I also had boxes to recycle and personal dolly of check in attendant that was so helpful to return and the guy said he would handle it all and I would get receipt via email. When I received the receipt I still got charged the next day 20$ service fee which I don't think is right since I was there before 5pm and parked inside the gate. Be careful if you are there at closing and go through check out procedure even if they say its not necessary because they will still charge you.James G.

They gave my trailer to somebody else. I had to drive 40 miles round trip to get another trailer. When I got to the other U-Haul I had to hook the trailer up myself and locate it myself. When I dropped off the trailer the next day there was nobody there to help me at all I had to take it off the hitch myself. At the first location after they gave my trailer to somebody else they hooked up an Intown trailer with no running lights and we're going to let me leave with that until they sent me to the other place not good.Christopher M.

The truck I was given had 160,000 miles and had the engine light on. It drove terrible and the transmission was screaming. I told that to the guy receiving the return and he made a smart ass comment. He wanted me to mop the inside of the truck because it had been raining and there was wet marks inside. He continued to make more smart ass comments and then told me he was charging me $25 to mop truck and for 69 miles. I left to avoid an incident with your employee. Terrible customer serviceDaniel V.

Customer service was terrible. Phone consultants have little knowledge of what they are doing and will provide incorrect information with confidence even when they know they're wrong. Information was recorded but never asked, the pricing and package was communicated incorrectly, talked with several different people and they all said different things, no one is on the same page and notes are either disregarded or never written down in the first place. Website is not user friendly. Options are non existent. Gas station attendants don't have any knowledge of the company or contract information.Adrian H.

Overall the storage unit and area was clean and well maintained but when the air conditioning in my unit’s area was broken for multiple summer months, I tried communicating with the store manager via email and phone and received no response. The person who I got my unit from gave me the wrong number unit, so when I unloaded my car and brought everything up to what I thought was my unit, it was apparently not my unit. I had to unload everything back into my vehicle, go into the store and wait in line to get my correct storage unit, go back and load everything again and bring my stuff up.
