Terrible experience, I picked up the rental on Friday, returned it 2 days later, just got billed for 3, I should have trusted my instinct and home in to close the rental, now 3 days later I receive the closed invoice for 3 days.... Not happy with your service or the store Rob

Recommend additional staff for peak pick-up/drop-off times. Stood in line for 5-10 mins and took an additional 10 mins for text with damage-review link to arrive. This added unexpected delay to our move. Recommend switching to scent-free cleaning products in your trucks - cab was very highly scented and this will cause issues for some customers. Also recommend cleaning out the bottoms of cupholders. Recommend ensuring that price-tags are visible on all merch. Merch near the cash did not have prices displayed. Otherwise experience was satisfactory.

Booked and paid on line Nov 4 and booked original install appointment on Nov 20. The wiring was not available on day of install. I had to keep calling to find out when it would be in and kept getting directed to USA as the phone would not be be answered locally. Finally on Dec 5 I stopped in to the shop to see if part was in and the install was booked and completed that day. Great install by Tom - thank you! but the rest of the experience was annoying.

Sent me out to look for truck. Walked around lot 3 times thinking I was missing it but apparently wasn't 'taken down'. For the amount paid (having to rent such a large truck due to it being one-way rental) customer service should be A++++.

Overall experience was great but I had requested a smaller truck and only truck available was a 26’ which I struggled trying to find a gas station to refill at as I was very uncomfortable trying to go through smaller spaces with it so In the end I had to take back the truck without putting the little bit of gas I used and was charged the fee. I also requested a dolly weeks ahead of time and one was not available for me when I picked it up, I was very disappointed.

The back of the truck had little peices of sbredded paper all through it. Not a big deal, but it wasnt clean. Olivia told me i could extend my rental time but then when i picked up i couldnt, and had to call back to get another peice of equipment. Glad i got it but it was an added stress i didnt need moving day. Overall things were good.

Picking up the vehicle was a quick simple experience. I do however disagree with the policy of photographing a personal document like a driver license. In the past a b&w photocopy was used. A full color high resolution digital image is a nother matter. In a age were personal information can be used to cause great personal harm this is a step in the wrong direction and does little to comfort many customers. The truck was new, less than 11000 miles, clean but poorly maintained. In this case the mirorrs could not be adjusted and created a very real danger to the driver and other road users... making this vehicle unfit for use on the highway a safety and legal hazard. I regret not doing a proper inspection before leaving the lot. When I returned the truck later the same day the location was closed. A sign indicated that I needed to create and log into u-haul.com to complete the contract. I do not have data on my mobile device, unthinkable for most these days but I do not! I called the number listed and was put on hold for 15 minuets before I hung up. I then called customer servie were the individual explained that i would need to log in or pay a extra fee. No other assistance was given. I locked the keys in the truck and left as my drive was waiting and had other commitments. On the drive home i tryed the number again and was on hold for almosst 30 minuets. My battery was getting low so I called customer service again. This time at my insistance the individual was suddenly able to find my information but told me that i would be charged extra for an after hour return because i did not use the internet... I once again explained that I didn't have data. I don't think that I was believed as I was told once again that extra charges would apply. When I explained that I locked the key in the truck I was told that they have only 1 key and a $250.00 recovery charge would be applied to my credit card. I ended the call as it was apparent that explanation was useless. My next call was my bank to lock my credit card. The next morning I called the retal location and had a pleasnt conversation, i was told that no additional charges would be added to my bill and was given the balance owing to settle my account. I went in person to the rental location (almost an hour drive for me). Once there i was given an apology and my bill was adjusted to reflect my inconvenience. I was also reassured that the truck would be serviced to solve what they agreeded was a serious safety issue. My advice - get a copy of the contract, discuss return procedure and extra charges, inspect the vehicle for safety isssues and check your credit card statment. ps.. Access Nova Scotia does not support the photographing of personal documents.

The two people I had dealt with gave excellent customer service. I unfortunately did not remember their names. But the young lady and middle aged gentleman were very helpful friendly and professional. I will not look elsewhere when I need to rent a truck or trailer again

Well for starters I cancelled my uhaul storage on December 21st and I got an email yesterday stating I owe 155$ for late payment on the storage unit. I'm not paying that. Not my fault.

Glad I checked the U-Haul website and found out about the U-BOX option. Whole move went very smoothly, and I would recommend U-BOX to anyone. And it was half the cost of other options I looked at!
