Have the receipts that are issued be a little bit clearer on the details. My rental receipt showed "Miles Included" for my rental of 750. What exactly does that mean? Does it mean that my rental "included" up to 750 miles of driving, and that I would be charged for the mileage above that amount? I would like to know.Bruce D.

The customer service was very poor. They only had one clerk working at the time and at least 6-8 people was waiting in line. Also the facility where the storage units are was very nasty and junky in appearance. The bathroom had no toilet paper no soap no paper towels and trash was over flowed. Trash was everywhere. I don't understand how uhaul charges a higher amount for there storage unit and there facility was so nasty.Antwan P.

Johnathan and Ayae( hope I spelled it correctly) were Sooooo professional , answered all of my questions, and greeted me with a smile. They are great representation of your company. They were the third U-Haul that I called and they were the only ones that addressed me professionally and didn't lose my reservation. They were also very courteous to other customers in the store. This is what you want to experience when you're patronizing a business. It was a pleasure to see people who not only enjoy their job but also enjoy helping others. Don't get me wrong, the facility and the equipment was great.....the location not so much. I was hooking up to an auto-hauler with my 40' motorhome and was depending 100% on one of their people as a spotter. I was not comfortable with the tight quarters but was assured that they had successfully connected to other large motorhomes at that location. Still unnerving but I watched the guy intently as he guided me back to connect with the auto-hauler. That process was not easy but we finally accomplished it. I was not until later the next morning, after doing my usual walk-around that I noticed there was a mashed-in portion of the rear-mounted step ladder! I had apparently gotten too close to the overhanging roof of the shop at the U-haul location. I even noticed small wood fibers upon close inspection indicating contact with the wood roofing material there. Perhaps I should not be surprised but I surely am amazed that the spotter didn't catch this contact.Joseph O.

I am a frequent costumer at this location. I accidentally left my purse in the van. The manager took my cards out of my purse and threw my purse in the dumpster. When I was trying to get clarification on why they kept my cards abs threw my purse away he responded with â€œwell you shouldn't have left itâ€ I am so outraged on how I was treated at this uhaul by Alton Ross. The woman at the counter (where I picked the trailer up in downtown Dayton) who waited on me was very friendly and personable. Made waiting in line a lot more acceptable (wait was due to the fact that they were just busy). Attaching the trailer to my car she was talkative and not in a 'fake' way. Information given to me regarding the fuel level, both from the employee and the text messages were incorrect for the vehicle I had, which gave me a suspicious feeling. Improvement would be when the employee tells me how much gas is in the tank, and how I need to return it, it should be correct.bryelle B.

I understand that rodents are a problem in a storage facility but the smell of their urine should be a problem that should be addressed. I have been to several hauls in the past and they were always helpful in everyway and respectful , clean and nice. The uhaul located at 1340 EThird St in Daytime n , Oh was by far the worst as far as the employees, manager was rude and unprofessional, when I rented a truck to empty out my storage unit that’s when I discovered all my property was ruined and mildewed and moldy but they closed so had to take it and called the next morning to get screamed at by a manager when asked what. Should do and how to note everything before trying cl rental was due co.the facility and storage areas was filthy. There was blood in the restrooms, i let them know but because they were closing for the day it wasn’t a priority. There was people living inside and walking around like they owned it and helped me more than the employees. I would never refere how do you spell referring her rooma friend at this location. The clerk needed more training and notification should have been sent to me about where the location of the unit was and how to get to it before 10:00 pm. It was never discussed that 34 hour access could be available to me for more money. There was a purchase of a prior Ihaul that I felt I was over charged and Field Manager couldn’t determine why the Truck cost was the amount leaving one City to another City. He told me to contact the Manager where I had dropped the Out Of Town Rental at his location. We moved our stuff out after watching several guys walk up to the glass sliding bay door, bang the glass a couple times and the doors open, did not need a code. Then these guys with rolling baskets leaving the storage area with odds and ends. They are getting into the storage doors, using what looks like a room stick from the ceiling and poking holes in each unit to peek inside and see if there is anything worth stealing, then they get into the units and take what they want. We watched them leave. Our unit had a hole. We complained, but didn't receive a phone call back. When the new glass doors was installed they should have been tested for flaws. I am chosing to get my items out of storage because there is a serious rodent problem. Many of my personal items were damaged and/or soiled with mice urine and feces. I chose to throw out many of my items that held sentimental and monetary value and it was terrible to clean up the mess that was made in my unit. The old elevator doors sometimes hopped off their track, and the double door system meant that you were competing with other people who forgot to close it on a different floor. The security scanner sometimes didn't work on my building, and I had to use the other one. No way of knowing without asking. No mice presence for 2 years, until the very end (maybe the trap got old?)
