BERNETTE HThe truck that I reserved was given to another customer even after I called ahead to inform them that I was in heavy traffic and would be later than anticipated. There were at least 6 other 10 foot trucks in sight. Since I had no other option, I took a larger truck and was given the keys and told the truck was in the lot. No one assisted me in locating the truck and going through the checking process. This was a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience. I have requested a call back and to date no call.
WILLIAM BBEST LOCATION, BAD DAY. SHORT STAFFED. Took 40 min to get a utility trailer. 5 more to get it connected.
KENNETH MThe main number I called had someone that booked me at a different location than the one I went to, so initially I was told that I would have to go to Orlando to get the trailer I had reserved. Luckily the CSR was able to find one in stock and everything worked out. Be careful when you reserve that you are talking about the same pickup location with the reps...
JAMES HStop scamming people with inaccurate level in gaz tank. Start having customer filling the gaz tank so when you take the truck it is full and you return full also. That schem ah it is 5/8 full is inaccurate an give you a bad taste Alain

SHELLEY CI spent 30 minutes searching for the truck, it wasn’t in the place the agent told me it was. I went inside the store telling the agent it wasn’t there and she told me the same inaccurate place as before. The temperature was windy and chilly near 50 degrees. I returned inside the store to seek help and was told again it was in an inaccurate parking space, I asked if there was a lot person who could assist me and was told no. Finally another agent helped me find the truck

ANDREW RCheck equipment more thoroughly before renting to the next customer. The trailer I rented had several LEDs out on the right tail/brake lamp and the wiring harness pigtail was damaged (partially cut, with exposed wire) and had to be repaired during use.
JEFFREY KThis was my first time using this location. The only issue I had was the truck only had a quarter of a tank of gas and that is not acceptable. The truck should have a full tank at pick up. Also the truck door was not closed all the way when I got it from the lot and the battery had a slow start.

Barbara Wvehicle had damage and was dirty, you could not even see out of the mirrors. hard to find any agents to assit with checkout to show proof of damage since app was not working properly. Took almost 30 minutes to get help and he did not really care about it. All together was there almost an hour after receving papers.
ROBERT FToo long to check out. Ended up pushing key through key slot. Gad to be at an import meeting and almost lost out. Stood in line for 40 mins. ad to leave.

JOHN MThe truck was roach infested. My wife’s purse has roaches crawling out of her purse, after riding in the truck for 20 mins to move a small few items of furniture. Very disheartening. I am concerned now we have brought roaches in to my premises from U-Haul unsanitary rental.

STEPHEN CA real nightmare! They installed a hitch & wiring (took 2 days to accomplish) and then two days later I went to pickup my Uhaul rental trailer but the trailer lights would not work properly. They claimed it must be my car's trailer wiring or fuses (remember, they just installed that wiring..). They told me I would have to come back two more days later to have someone check it out. I cancelled the trailer pickup, went home and upon reviewing the Uhaul wiring job, found that the installation was incorrect (they wired as if my vehicle had a 3-wire type system when in fact the car is a 2-wire type system according to the wiring install instructions I found on the Uhaul website itself - I took pictures of the mis-wire). I corrected their wiring mistake, tested everything to be OK and then returned to this pickup location, rented my trailer and made my trip without any problems... The second attempt at trailer pickup went without any problems and they were surprised that their trailer lights worked correctly this time. Overall, this location was very disappointing because the hitch installation failure resulted in their taking no ownership for their mistake at all, and nobody seemed to care much that my move would be delayed a few more days...
JOHN SMechanically, the vehicle wasn’t working properly. When I checked out, he didn’t check me out with the mileage till I was gone, which added an extra day to my bill and a cleaning fee that wasn’t necessary.
Donna LThe staff was not very helpful at drop off and then I was charged additional $ for fuel even though I returned it at the same fuel level as when I picked it up. Very disappointed in the communication and professionalism of the Daytona beach location.

JORDAN HGreat service, but the layout of the place makes it hard to get in and out. They were very busy and traffic was backed up around the entrance. I had to pull into the back. Thanks to the service technician for helping me out.
OWEN RWhen there was likely to be a delay in pick up from my storage unit for several days with a truck that broke down, I texted and U-Haul got a truck out for the next day. I appreciate the prompt attention. I had my belongings stored for much longer than anticipated and everything was in good condition.
Diana MI rented a trailer... and when got home I opened the door on the back side... Lowered the ramp... I found the loading ramp covered with grease.... The inside was a mess it was apparently not cleaned.... Very poor condition....

Moving our stuff to storage was a simple process, although I wish Uhaul had more storage units at our Location Daytona Beach. It was a challenge to fit into the only unit left! Even though I had already spent $30 on fuel. I was never given any copies of the paperwork, I had to ask. I find this to be very wrong. They said they gave me a $30 fuel credit to begin with, which I see see, but it is not reflected in the original bill or anywhere. Never again with uhaul unless I feel getting ripped off again.
