The wait time to rent was almost 1 hour. Upon returning I entered the way I was instructed and immediately discovered there was no room to drop, it took forever to turn around and I found an alternate area. Very difficult return for me.

The gentleman that installed my trailer hitch, was excellent. He waited on me at the counter, came out in the parking lot looked under my car and explained the installation to me. Great customer service. Also told me how long it would take to install.

There was a lady here checking vehicle supposedly (cream color mini van)looking for a dolly and attempted to take the one I rented. I backed the Trailor in I placed an old master lock on the door and left key on the driver side wheel.

I have to ridiculous charges that have shown up on my account that have no notation and are absurdly high. I did a in town rental for 19.95 and drove no more than 10 miles and days later you guys got me with a 95 charge and another 65 dollar charge. Never using again!!!

This location is conveniently located and the drop off area was clearly marked. A U-Haul agent greeted me as soon as I drove up to return my truck rental. The only glitch was that U-Haul’s online system wasn’t working so the rep couldn’t send me my invoice as promised until much later in the evening. When I received it everything appeared correct except for the drop off time. The receipt said that I dropped off the truck in the late afternoon, when in reality I dropped it off in the morning. Repeated calls to U-Haul Customer Service all yielded the same response; wide spread system outage.

The trailer had trash on it when picked up along with packets of ketchup stewn on it. One was crushed at the ramp and smeared all over. Made a mess for me.

When we dropped off the truck the two girls at the front were not helpful, not attentive, just talking amongst themselves without even looking at us. I returned equipment around 3 pm 5/16/2026.

Truck was in terrible condition. Front right tire had to be replaced after we limped up from Daytona. I tried to exchange the truck because it was not safe to drive. I was told by two different U-Haul employees they could not exchange the truck because it was to be returned to Daytona. That detail should not have been my responsibility. Pathetic service. We rent a truck every year for our meeting. I have recommended we no longer rent from U-Haul again as a result of this issue.

Only suggestion: Faster check-in if since I reserved on line, a repeat customer and all my information is in your system. I should pull in, scan barcode reservation, be directed to equipment, . This would help everyone involved, including next customers waiting in line that need more personal service.complete checklist with customer/rep, review safety info, review return process, etc. Overall this location by far exceeds others. They almost need a newer, larger location.

Let customers know that there may be long waits in line. I waited over an hour standing in line. There was no close parking and I had to move my vehicle and walk a distance in order to stand in line even though I had a reservation.

Facility is overstocked with trucks. Storage facilities are blocked by 6-7 trucks. Had to maneuver around trucks to get to unit/facility.

Storage was clean and staff was very friendly. Unfortunately there were trucks parked in front of storage doors blocking the exit making it hard to remove items being taken out. Had to go into office to see if the truck could get moved. Just inconvenient.

They were rude and very dismissive I moved here on my own paid for storage they charged me for two even though I didn’t use it was no reimbursed which is a scam I asked for assistance moving a few things since I was all by myself the lady said “no there busy rudely” and they were outside laughing I’ve used U-Haul for years and never gotten this kind of treatment the worst I’ve ever been to not that this review will change anything but good luck with this group

I love ❤️ my space and the location. And love how it’s so secured. When you have to have a card to enter . I was referred the very FRIST time with courtesy complementary from U-Haul during the hurricane Milton. They were so friendly and helpful. With my other storage closed due to the hurricane very early . And I rented a U-Haul van . And I had to keep your ba. Over nite . But your U-Haul company SAVE ME 😀. And I will NEVER . Forget that . And will very much do use you guys again. . If I have to . Without a doubt. Take care and keep up The great work !! 😊

As a longtime and frequent UHaul customer in multiple locations across the US, the Daytona Beach facility on Intl Speedway Blvd has one of the friendliest and most efficient staffs ever. I also must give Jennifer big props as she is very customer service oriented and knowledgable regarding all aspects of the rental process, and a real asset to the company.

The parking is a nightmare, about 5 spaces for customers. Facility is old/outdated, needs painted, cleaned, no lights in unit working, very bad musty smell, ceiling in unit damaged from rain, looks like it would fall in.

This is a joke. The light is out on the ceiling, floor dirty, dead bugs all over.I had to ask to have it swept out, they acted as if I had 4 heads ! NO PLACE TO PARK !! THEY NEED a complete do over,remodel,etc. A few employees were pleasant, the rest were jerks.

Lied about 24 hr access, and cost us money for a hotel due to our condo not allowing us to have a trailer on the property, so we had to get a hotel to park the uhaul trailer cause we couldn’t unload into your storage unit.

Easy process, affordable unit pricing with insurance for belongings available. Moving our stuff to storage was a simple process, although I wish Uhaul had more storage units at our Location Daytona Beach. It was a challenge to fit into the only unit left! Tetris masters, fit things in like puzzle pieces! Overall I can not complain.

I was given the truck 24 miles to go for empty. I returned it with more gas than I picked it up with. I was still charged an additional $30 for fuel. Even though I had already spent $30 on fuel. I was never given any copies of the paperwork, I had to ask. I find this to be very wrong. They said they gave me a $30 fuel credit to begin with, which I see see, but it is not reflected in the original bill or anywhere. Never again with uhaul unless I feel getting ripped off again.

The gas mileage on the rental truck was wrong, I told them before I left and they said just use the app, I’m busy. Today they charged my bank account for November payment which over draft my account. Obviously I should not have been charged since this very survey says I left. I’m beyond unhappy and would like corporate to contact me.

I didn't go to the u-haul facility, everything was handled by phone, I had a U-Box not a moving truck, we packed it and U-haul shipped it. Few miscommunications but was able to resolve issues quickly.
