Reservation did not mean I actually had a truck reserved; super frustrating and had to argue with rep to get a truck (when there were 20+ sitting in the parking lot). Poor customer service at pick up and drop off. Was promised a receipt and never received it. Just bad all around experience, but unfortunately not a lot of options in town.

The equipment and the staff were excellent...However, the facility was grossly understaffed. Waited 30 minutes after the paperwork was completed to pick up the unit and waited 40 minutes in the return line for the single worker to be available to accept the unit. I don't believe this type of service is what Joe Shoen would be proud of! You can do much better with more available staff.

Once I hooked up the trailer to my vehicle, I got a readout for scheduled maintenance on said trailer. All service recommendations were overdue by 10 months or more

This was the worst rental experience I have ever had. The employees were not helpful. The location was too crowded with no shown roots of egress. One employee told you one thing that another employee told you another as to where to put the vehicle and even though I had to sign that it was in good condition when I took the trailer out when I brought it back, I was told I would get mailed one when they took the time to look at it

The A/C did not work and the cup holder was broken. When on the open roadway, the vehicle had a significant vibration.

Drop off after hours - Parking lot was almost full and difficult to leave truck in good location. No room to turn around. Not given advice to enter off the side street which would have worked nicely but the lanes were already full from that entry. App was easy to follow once I started the return process. I do wish I have been more aware of the APP Return After Hours Process before entering the facility. No interaction with Personnel after hours drop off, so there should be another option for the question "WERE PERSONNEL HELPFUL. I have always gotten good friendly service from this location in the past.

This location was great, however my overall experience was horrendous. My pick up location was changed without notice. I was sent to another location to pickup a different truck and nobody was at the location. After waiting an hour, I was told to go to this location. I ended up being 3 hours late for my move.

Please don’t park trucks and trailers in front of the access doors. It makes it difficult to access uboxes, especially if more than one person is their to retrieve their items.

When I mentioned to the attendant that I brought it back 2 days early and I should get a refund for those days, he kind of smiled at me and said we don't do that. We have heard that before but you will have to get with the person you rented it from. I would like to know why one person says you'll get a refund but when you take it back you did not get a refund.

On March 13, 2026, my son-in-law and I picked up a 26 foot truck from UHAUL at 700 W International Speedway, Daytona Beach, Fl. I Fell going up the steps to the office which caused me to fall off the platform and fell several feet to the ground. I sustained a rather large laceration on my left arm. The man inside showed no concern when we went in regarding my arm bleeding, offered no assistance and showed no concern when told what had happened. He finally got a first aid kit and bandaged my arm when we asked for one. No report was made. The truck was fine, but the customer service left a lot to be desired.

Storage was clean and staff was very friendly. Unfortunately there were trucks parked in front of storage doors blocking the exit making it hard to remove items being taken out. Had to go into office to see if the truck could get moved. Just inconvenient.

I had a good experience working with your folks at this location. Everything was done with professionalism and highest standards.It would be nice if there was a working restroom. I was about to explode yesterday and asked for a restroom and was told they don’t have any functioning bathrooms.

The counter person was very helpful. The person working the lot who hooked up my trailer was not. I waited several minutes without any direction from the lot person until I finally pressed the issue and was able to locate my trailer and hook it up. The lot area seemed chaotic and not well managed.

Brandon went above and beyond getting a trailer attached for me and re-positioning the truck in a way where I didn't have to backup the trailer; he made it really easy from paperwork to pulling off the lot. Thank you!

Got truck with NO gas… like RUN to the gas station right this second. And was told to bring it back k with no gas. No idea how im supposed to do that. They tried to charge me for bringing it back k empty even though it was marked clearly as empty on my receipt. Poorly run. Equipment was duct taped together. Shady

They were rude and very dismissive I moved here on my own paid for storage they charged me for two even though I didn’t use it was no reimbursed which is a scam I asked for assistance moving a few things since I was all by myself the lady said “no there busy rudely” and they were outside laughing I’ve used U-Haul for years and never gotten this kind of treatment the worst I’ve ever been to not that this review will change anything but good luck with this group

I love ❤️ my space and the location. And love how it’s so secured. When you have to have a card to enter . I was referred the very FRIST time with courtesy complementary from U-Haul during the hurricane Milton. They were so friendly and helpful. With my other storage closed due to the hurricane very early . And I rented a U-Haul van . And I had to keep your ba. Over nite . But your U-Haul company SAVE ME 😀. And I will NEVER . Forget that . And will very much do use you guys again. . If I have to . Without a doubt. Take care and keep up The great work !! 😊

As a longtime and frequent UHaul customer in multiple locations across the US, the Daytona Beach facility on Intl Speedway Blvd has one of the friendliest and most efficient staffs ever. I also must give Jennifer big props as she is very customer service oriented and knowledgable regarding all aspects of the rental process, and a real asset to the company.

The parking is a nightmare, about 5 spaces for customers. Facility is old/outdated, needs painted, cleaned, no lights in unit working, very bad musty smell, ceiling in unit damaged from rain, looks like it would fall in.

This is a joke. The light is out on the ceiling, floor dirty, dead bugs all over.I had to ask to have it swept out, they acted as if I had 4 heads ! NO PLACE TO PARK !! THEY NEED a complete do over,remodel,etc. A few employees were pleasant, the rest were jerks.

Lied about 24 hr access, and cost us money for a hotel due to our condo not allowing us to have a trailer on the property, so we had to get a hotel to park the uhaul trailer cause we couldn’t unload into your storage unit.

Easy process, affordable unit pricing with insurance for belongings available. Moving our stuff to storage was a simple process, although I wish Uhaul had more storage units at our Location Daytona Beach. It was a challenge to fit into the only unit left! Tetris masters, fit things in like puzzle pieces! Overall I can not complain.

I was given the truck 24 miles to go for empty. I returned it with more gas than I picked it up with. I was still charged an additional $30 for fuel. Even though I had already spent $30 on fuel. I was never given any copies of the paperwork, I had to ask. I find this to be very wrong. They said they gave me a $30 fuel credit to begin with, which I see see, but it is not reflected in the original bill or anywhere. Never again with uhaul unless I feel getting ripped off again.

The gas mileage on the rental truck was wrong, I told them before I left and they said just use the app, I’m busy. Today they charged my bank account for November payment which over draft my account. Obviously I should not have been charged since this very survey says I left. I’m beyond unhappy and would like corporate to contact me.
