This was my third time leasing a cargo van from U-Haul. It was so easy that I cannot think of anything to improve. I had a great experience.

I like the location. But the only thing is the trailer they give me was not clean! Still has some screws, pieces of toys and even some foods left in the trailer. I have to clean it myself before using…

Got truck with NO gas… like RUN to the gas station right this second. And was told to bring it back k with no gas. No idea how im supposed to do that. They tried to charge me for bringing it back k empty even though it was marked clearly as empty on my receipt. Poorly run. Equipment was duct taped together. Shady

Car Hauler: chain beneath the rear deck is designed to …? Secure the rear axle or what? My trailer had 2 size (diameter) of chain and and a threaded crampon. My car is 12’ long and not able to be secured with the short length of chain provided. I no longer have an enclosed trailer for this car but I do have straps and winch accessories to secure the rear axle. Do I understand correctly, the chain is designed to secure the axle?

Had a couple of empty cups coffee in the cab, one of employees asked me to take the garbage out. People these days dont believe in customer service. If you take a job cleaning vehicles expect to clean.

Easy in and out but asked me about the dolly that should have been noted it wouldn't be there due to the pickup location forgetting to load it.

I wrecked my motorcycle the day I unloaded the truck. I had no way to take it to the dropoff point,as I was in the hospital. Made one phone call to Uhaul and they came and picked it up immediately, no charge. That's service!👍🙏

Good afternoon to whom it may concern, I rented a 12 x 6 trailer to move some furniture .I was on the highway driving the police officer pulled me over and stated that I passed the agriculture station stop. I got a warning not a summons for passing this stop . On your contract didn’t mention that I have to stop at agriculture station stop for your trailer . I now have warding on my record for not obeying the law. Thank you

The man who checked us in was very rude. They didn't have the right trailer pulled up and ready to go. Had to find the correct one and move it.

Only difficulty was that there was one person running the desk. They did a fantastic job but I did have to wait for over 10 minutes because she was assisting a customer with an entire rental. I had performed most of the rental requirements online prior to arriving. I know I could have downloaded the app, but I don't move enough to require an app on my phone.

Option to opt out of sales promos and upgrades while reserving online. 2nd, Give notice you must be logged into account before making actual reservation. OK to use general site for pricing but had to login and Re-enter all info again to reserve. Not big deal but would be helpful and better customer service.

the new requirement that everyone has to register with their phones while standing in line is BS. It took longer to get through the process because everyone was trying to learn how. One of the people in line didn't know how to use their phone and I left mine in my truck and had to go to the parking lot to get it. Not happy. The guys in the yard were friendly and fast.

My only issue is they charged me the cleaning fee for dirty floor mats. This had been documented when I picked up the truck. I went back to the location and Jennifer was very helpful and had the charges returned to my credit card.

When I picked up truck in Daytona Beach the service staff said fuel is less than an eighth. Please return at same level. What happens after my return in Scotch Plains.., I get charged for $22.38 for fuel refil— a good experience until I felt nickeled and dimed. Too bad… Please refund.

I have never had to jump through so many hoops in my life. The amount of just red tape is ridiculous. If I ever use U haul again it certainly won't be from that location. Over priced I felt like I was being interrogated just to use it for 2 hours. You should definitely take a look at the amount of crap people have to go through just to do business with you. Never again

So disorganized! Waited for over 20 minutes for anyone to take the return trailer and then one of the staff members was so angry about the lost keys to his own vehicle, it made our wait time even longer. That staff member acted unprofessional while yelling that he “hates his life and wants to kill himself.” He ignored us while continuing looking for his keys and another worker had to help us and witness the meltdown. This was the worse experience dealing with U-Haul over the many years and I don’t recommend this location for any service.

They were rude and very dismissive I moved here on my own paid for storage they charged me for two even though I didn’t use it was no reimbursed which is a scam I asked for assistance moving a few things since I was all by myself the lady said “no there busy rudely” and they were outside laughing I’ve used U-Haul for years and never gotten this kind of treatment the worst I’ve ever been to not that this review will change anything but good luck with this group

I love ❤️ my space and the location. And love how it’s so secured. When you have to have a card to enter . I was referred the very FRIST time with courtesy complementary from U-Haul during the hurricane Milton. They were so friendly and helpful. With my other storage closed due to the hurricane very early . And I rented a U-Haul van . And I had to keep your ba. Over nite . But your U-Haul company SAVE ME 😀. And I will NEVER . Forget that . And will very much do use you guys again. . If I have to . Without a doubt. Take care and keep up The great work !! 😊

As a longtime and frequent UHaul customer in multiple locations across the US, the Daytona Beach facility on Intl Speedway Blvd has one of the friendliest and most efficient staffs ever. I also must give Jennifer big props as she is very customer service oriented and knowledgable regarding all aspects of the rental process, and a real asset to the company.

The parking is a nightmare, about 5 spaces for customers. Facility is old/outdated, needs painted, cleaned, no lights in unit working, very bad musty smell, ceiling in unit damaged from rain, looks like it would fall in.

This is a joke. The light is out on the ceiling, floor dirty, dead bugs all over.I had to ask to have it swept out, they acted as if I had 4 heads ! NO PLACE TO PARK !! THEY NEED a complete do over,remodel,etc. A few employees were pleasant, the rest were jerks.

Lied about 24 hr access, and cost us money for a hotel due to our condo not allowing us to have a trailer on the property, so we had to get a hotel to park the uhaul trailer cause we couldn’t unload into your storage unit.

Easy process, affordable unit pricing with insurance for belongings available. Moving our stuff to storage was a simple process, although I wish Uhaul had more storage units at our Location Daytona Beach. It was a challenge to fit into the only unit left! Tetris masters, fit things in like puzzle pieces! Overall I can not complain.

I was given the truck 24 miles to go for empty. I returned it with more gas than I picked it up with. I was still charged an additional $30 for fuel. Even though I had already spent $30 on fuel. I was never given any copies of the paperwork, I had to ask. I find this to be very wrong. They said they gave me a $30 fuel credit to begin with, which I see see, but it is not reflected in the original bill or anywhere. Never again with uhaul unless I feel getting ripped off again.

The gas mileage on the rental truck was wrong, I told them before I left and they said just use the app, I’m busy. Today they charged my bank account for November payment which over draft my account. Obviously I should not have been charged since this very survey says I left. I’m beyond unhappy and would like corporate to contact me.

I didn't go to the u-haul facility, everything was handled by phone, I had a U-Box not a moving truck, we packed it and U-haul shipped it. Few miscommunications but was able to resolve issues quickly.
