Keep the general manager and Michael there, wonderful customer service skills. Even though it takes some time they make it seem like nothing. They just made the experience pleasing and even though there are other locations closer to me, I would still rather drive and work with them any day and would highly recommend friends to them. Best customer service and just welcoming experience I’ve had in a long time from anywhere.

The facility and equipment appeared to be in outstanding condition. The staff was professional and courteous. However, they were simply overwhelmed. At pickup and drop off the customer line stretched to the back wall of the showroom. I waited an hour. There were only two staff when I got my rental and only one when I dropped it off. Also, vehicles were backed up three deep to be returned. There was no way the on-shift staff could handle the customer traffic on the last weekend of the month. There just weren't enough of them. Nevertheless, they were pleasant and on task. The lack of staff on the floor and the backup in service it created is the reason for my poor review.

I reserved a truck in another city, it automatically changed my location to drive 15 extra miles to pick up and back to my house to pick up furniture and then drive to 2 hours away. Finally got to location and stayed in line 40 minutes for a truck that was already reserved. I will never reserve here again, too much of a hassle. Other ppl were complaining that their truck that they reserved was not even at that location.

The A/C blower motor stopped working over 40 times when driving at highway speed from Red Oak to Austin. It would cycle off for 4 to 10 minutes then come back on for 4 to 10 minutes most of the highway trip.

The entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable in all aspects of my moving needs. They assisted me in selecting the right truck and rental terms that best suited my move. Kevin, the manager, operates this location very efficiently. Every time I entered I was greeted with a warm and hospitable smile and verbal greeting.. What they told me was the same thing that I was told when I rented the equipment, that I would be REIMBURSED for the days not used. However customer service told me that I was being told a lie. Either way, I paid for a unit that got rerented to another customer at my expense and then they paid again. So uhaul got paid twice for the same equipment. That is extremely poor service.b

Upgrade your CRM equipment so employees do not have to process sensitive and private information on their personal phones. The representative who processed my information used her personal phone to capture a photo of my drivers license. I questioned this, and she said it was because the company equipment was not functioning. I’m not comfortable with your employees capturing my personal information on their phones. Other than that, the experience was fantastic!

Get more help. The employees, have to do a lot. When it's only two people that slows down production. I saw a few customers leaving because of the delay. I was just patient enough to wait it out but you all lost potential customers do to the fact of not having enough staff... GET MORE STAFF. I-35& Parkerville

It was a pleasure having my things stored there. Kevin went above and beyond to help my family and I. I did have an issue with rats towards the end of my stay. There was a dead mice inside my storage.

Was met at the door by a nice young lady that attended me quickly. Helped me right away to park and unhitch the trailer dolly. In and out with my receipt in hand within 8 minutes. A++

The trailer I rented needed newer tie down straps for the front tires. By the time we got to our house both straps were off both tires. Also, I had to deflate my front tires for the tie down straps to fit. U-Haul trucks sit too low for trailer towing and pulling into driveways with an incline because it drags/scrapes the road and possibly will get stuck.

The first location we went to, I believe the address was 1209 E Beltline road, our reservation was for 9 am and the place was closed until noon so we had to come to this one. thankfully they had a truck for us.

Muddy and wet foot prints in the cab. Truck broke down/overheated only 8 miles into our trip. The whole process, reporting the incident, waiting for a technician to arrive plus repair time, took about 2 1/2 hours. When we finally started moving the dolly came loose and broke the plastic tie. The screw that it's supposed to secure the dolly would not turn so the only thing holding it in place was the plastic tie. I did not use the dolly and do not expect to be charged! Not only that but having the dolly and moving blankets permanently inside took valuable space. I clearly stated in my reservation that I did not want these items.

More like a compliment. UHAUL CORPORATE Please don't forget that your employees - first line especially make you successful. Kevin and Sarah in Desoto, TX could not be more kind, helpful or polite. If you don't have "secret shoppers" as of yet checking on your locations you should. Your employee population should know they could be shopped, that is their warning. Reward the good behavior and don't be cheap. $50. gift card for good and you will need to determine the bad.....Sheree Came out of a employee recognition company, can't help myself with suggestions.

The staff, especially Angel, were very professional and courteous. The cargo van we rented was late being returned by the prior renter and the staff did all they could to make the wait as pleasant as possible. Including find another van in near by Cedar Hill. About the time we were getting ready to leave for Cedar Hill, our van showed up. They quickly got it checked in, cleaned and we were on our way. A very positive experience considering the long wait. Thank you U-Haul.
