Great service by Harpreet. Only thing preventing me from giving a higher rating was the missing items we paid for but didn't get. We paid for a moving dolly, a hand truck and moving covers. We had to call the location back and explain we didn't get them even though we prepaid for them. I am a professional driver and as such do not require much in the way of assistance. When I dropped the trailer, it was dark and raining hard. The very polite staff member pointed to the general direction where I should put the trailer but did not escort me or observe me. I had to reverse the trailer into a spot which for the average driver would be a challenge. The service I got was very bad, I was given a damaged Tow Dolly , I was told this was okay to drive but it was not. The tow dolly's pin of the ramp was damaged and the ramp fell off. part way into our trip the tow dolly ramp started falling off. I only drove this because I was told it was ok to drive to my destination.They said it was fixed but it was just taped together with masking tape. I barely made it to my location alive. The ramp kept falling off due to its not proper fix. The straps were torn and wore everything about it was bad. It's unacceptable that I paid for something like this and was told it was ok It was only putting my family's life at risk. It was a 17 hour drive and for uhaul to think it was safe to drive this equipment that they knew was very damaged and unsafe on the Coquihalla highway is unacceptable.Marvin L.

It was not so much that the equipment was not maintained or clean, I was given a trailer with a padlock with no key. Somebody locked the trailer overnight and I had no way to open it. When I called the depot I was instructed to cut the lock and as such had to purchase a bolt cutter which cost me an extra $30 out of pocket. A key should be provided if a lock is.DWAYNE O.

I rented a spot in the gravel parking area. I was amazed at how some, not all, just some of the clients used their space. These clients would maximize their space with multiple items, cars, junk. When the space is clearly for a one vehicle, rv, or boat. In my opinion there is enough demand for your parking space, you don’t need to have clients that use, abuse every square footage or the liability to potentially damage vehicles beside those few abusers.Jason M. | Overall Experience

Because this location is rather remote, it would be helpful to have a paper process for return of vehicle, should one's phone be low on power or not functioning properly. We had issue with reception at pick up of the vehicle and the process of picking up took over 40 minutes. The vehicle was dirty inside upon pick up. Not filthy, but not clean. The other issue was at booking. I had booked for pick up in Vancouver, only to be told a day later that I would have to pick up the vehicle in Delta. When i called in to inquire, I was told that "that's just the way it is, take it or leave it." Not very good customer service.Rita B.

The young lady at the counter gave me the wrong keys to a truck that she had taken the gas gauge reading off of. As I drove away I realized that the gas gauge was not correct that she had given me on her sheet of paper. The lady in the office called Christina is not helping. I walked to check if anything available. She said nothing is available and asked me to walk away. I booked on line in front of her face. She checked me in. Then I asked her to change my drop off time from 9 to 11. She said the file is finalized, can't not be changed. I was bounced to a THIRD location, inconveniently located. They DID NOT have all the equipment I had ordered. I was given a dirty vehicle with 1/4 tank of gas. I had to buy gas to return to my house 25 minutes away. THE AGENT was totally indifferent to my disappointment in being underserved. This is a regional problem. Another roommate ordered a rental in Vancouver and was bounced to this location also. I have been renting UHaul's for years. This entire experience was a blight on UHaul overall.Kathryn H.

Rented the 6x12 trailer, original location was suppose to be closer tomorrow work but saddly uhaul called to inform me the trailer thats reserved is no longer avilable as it was not functional. The customer rep was really quick to help me book for the location at Delta. Delta location was very friendly and I was late in returning the trailer and the staff was really friendly when I dropped the trailer off. Definitely recommend the Delta locationDavid S.

The staff at this location were ok. I showed up, they indicated I needed to finish the vehicle check through mobile due to my booking. The mobile chat agent could not help. I completed all information, and they couldnt complete my order. The staff onsite then completed my order. So not sure why they couldn't do so originally, but fine...process. But the mobile app disconnect and agent was aweful. It wasted 30 minutes of my time. The fact that my initial truck, that was indicated available and we booked, was not available, inconvenienced me further for time and money. The van was in ok shape, but was not "clean". It wasn't filthy, just dirty from rain or dirty water and debris. The driver side window stopped working for a bit. I was told there was more gas in there than there was, so I corrected that through the checkout. The location wasn't the issue so much as the app process. I would not recommend the mobile process to anyone.PETER J.
Only employee on staff was a young girl. She did an excellent job of the administrative aspects but was unable to attach trailer to the tow vehicle. I was unsure of how much to help due to insurance considerations (but in the end did help). At the end of the day - no complaints. The first truck we were offered, the oil light was on, the second truck, the service engine light was on, fortunately there was a third truck available but it was just returned and had not been cleaned. We took that one anyway. We returned it cleaner than the we got it. The 26Ft truck didn't have much get up and go. Very sluggish.Arthur G.
We had photos and had recorded how we picked up the truck, with 1/8th of gas left. When we returned it was the same level but the attendant insisted it was empty. The dashboard recorded it had 47 miles left in gas so there was no way it was close to empty. I didn't have the time to debate where the dial was and wasn't as it certainly was not on E. I was charged extra for having them top up gas but I think this is grossly unnecessary. I will not be using U-Haul again and would appreciate a refund for my gas charge.Andrea S.

Hello My U-Haul Contract 99720827 and i have picked the truck from uhaul nordel delta branch. The lady who was sitting on the desk has poor knowledge and she didn't told me when i was taking the truck to cancel the contract on the same location. My battery was about to die and decided to cancel the contract once i reached back to home, so i drop the truck at the same location from where i picked.i dont want to be charged for 20$ service contract fee and request for the refund pls. Had a 45min issue getting the keys from the locked box at the reserved location, which the location had no visible uhaul advertisements. The lock box did not work after that wasted time, had to call uhaul head office who found us a replacement. I would not recommend U Haul rentals at ALL! As I was told my retal was for 2 days, I explained exactly where I was moving from & to and the amount of time & Km it would require. I was quoted $550 for 2 days, with 298 km. There is a U Haul in Coquitlam 2 minutes away from where I moved to & they made me drive 40 minutes to Delta to return it!SUSAN M.

The service I received at UHaul was very slow and unprofessional. When I rented a truck about a week in advance I also rented a furniture dolly. On the day of pickup I was advised that the facility does not carry furniture dollies and offered a utility dolly instead. I felt frustrated by this as we never received any call to advise us of this and we were reliant on having a furniture dolly. We should not be able to select this on the website if that location does not carry it. As well, an additional padlock was put on my unit despite my lock being the same as those sold at the front desk. When I was preparing to move out the keys provided by the customer service agent were not correct and she had to go remove the lock herself. Overall, the service was far below par. I'd reserved a 5'x10' storage unit but could only get a 5'x5' on arrival. I understand the dynamics of the storage market but a heads up text or email would have been helpful. I still need a 5x10. Upgrade to the first available should be automatic. Staff were not able to speak to it. Your staff are very pleasant and customer focused.
