The office was understaffed for the last weekend of the month. My biggest complaints are with Uhaul in general, not this office. I booked a van over the phone at the SE Marine Drive location in Vancouver and then got a call saying they had no similar vans available, so I had to pick it up here. That added about 40kms that i had to pay for. I drove past SE Marine Drive location during the move and there was 15-20 vans like the one I rented in the lot. I complained to office and they said my contract stated someone would call and confirm my reservation. That doesn't explain so many vans sitting in lot unused on the day I rented. Uhaul is convenient and cheap, but your booking system, online and on phone are frustrating and I always feel like your trying to milk more money out of me by changing reservation and locations.HAROLD B.

I was overcharged for two things. 1) bringing the truck back late which i was never told if I went over my Estimated time I would be charged, the office was closed at 7pm anyways and I brought the truck back after hours at 8:25 pm And 2) was double charged for appliance dolly rental which is absolutely ridiculous. I will be speaking to the head office of Uhaul and expressing my frustrations regarding customer service when I spoke with representative they did not want to help at all. Total laziness and disrespectful to customer. I filled the fuel back to where it was at when I recieved the truck and then had to even argue to get my money back for that when they over charged me for fuel !!Daniel J.

I made a scheduling error when I booked my truck. Upon realizing my error I phoned to see if it could be fixed. The agent was wonderful. Found me a truck slightly smaller than I needed but it was available at another location. This worked perfectly for us. Thanks again.NEAL O.
I ordered a 26' truck and did 1000km in one day. The ride was excellent and truck ran smoothly which is the most important. On the other end, the pickup and return experience was poor at this location: 10158 Nordel Crt, Delta BC. The staff was rude, the exit not well indicated (very important to keep driver stress low - especially when they drive a large truck for 1st time). I also was charged unfairly a return fee when i tried all possible actions given the circumstances. Here are some details: I was charged a return fee for not completing the online process when i tried for 10mn at 1am on the street but the Uhaul self return system was not functioning properly. I explained that i called their tech support at 1am, i also offered to provide evidences (print screens) that I tried and got errors but the lady disregarded my explanations.BENOIT S.
