I ordered a uhaul online from new westminster to abbotsford a week before i needed it and was quoted 110 for it and confirmed online. Then the day before i was called and told i have to return and pick up from delta. Then when i went to puck it up i was 198 in total. I was told that i will get 50.00 back from uhaul. I ended paying 49.00 more than confirmed online

I ordered the trailer for pickup closer to me originally. Had to go more than an hour out of my way to Delta because you moved it and no one could tell me why.

We were very well served by good, friendly staff at this location. There was a fair amount of soil in the base of the trailer which was disappointing as we were transporting an appliance so would have liked it clean. We swept it out anyway. Other than that we were very happy with the unit.

Ashley and Christina were 100% on all levels. They handled everything without a hitch! The only complaint we had was through your sister company you recommended, who had confirmed with me a month prior to our move that they would be at our moving location, did NOT show up!!! He contacted me three hours before he was to arrive to tell us he does not service Canada! We were devastated! We had to stay at a motel and find a different moving company the following day. We just want our money back and every time we try to reach them we get put on hold and a $10. fee will be applied to each phone call. We still can’t get through to them so I will try to go online. Grrrrrrrrrr.....

Rented a 15ft, had less gas than on paperwork which was less than 1/4 tank. Had to gas up twice, once when I left the U-haul office and again when returning it. The truck could barely climb slight hills without a load, was in atrocious condition. Felt lucky to make it back. Other issues as well, feel free to contact me at

It is crazy that when I book online I can’t be guaranteed the equipment at the time I need. I booked online for 12;00 pm and got a call the day of my rental saying didn’t have a truck until6;00 pm and it would be 20 km from where I wanted the rental. I made plans with people and ended up moving until 3;00am in the morning as we had to have it back by 6;00 am. Also app to check back in takes forever to do is of no value to me. Why do I have to do that to help you when your company totally screwed me over. We need new competition in the market so you guys have zw

It was a very stressful move because Uhaul cancelled my truck 3 times within 48 hrs of moving and on the day of. I pre-booked the truck a month in advance. Worst service I have ever received from Uhaul. I don't blame the Delta location or it's employees.

The first Email from UHaul said that the truck will be available at Rainbow Market, 9780 Cambie Rd in Richmond at 6 pm. When we arrived - the truck wasn't there; the clerk did not speak English and did not show any desire to help; The only words he said: "You are not in my computer"; "Call Office" "I am very busy" (while he was not busy at all. there was only one customer who bought a pack of cigarettes). I called the office in AZ, and spoke to UHaul rep who told me that my truck was on 4511 Shell Rd in Richmond, BC and that it was reserved to be checked out by phone (surprise? Later I saw a second email that said that the truck was in a different location). I asked the customer service person that we will pick the truck at 7 am next day (Day of the Move from an old apartment) and she was nice and helpful. However, when we arrived to pick the truck next morning, the truck wasn't there. Lynn Puersten, a manager told us that she did not have a truck for us. We were in SHOCK! Lynn was very helpful and spent sometime on computer searching the database and found a truck for us in 10158 Nordel Crt, in Delta. We appreciated Lynn's help a LOT! She made a difference and Helped us to find a truck. We drove quickly to Nordel Crt and picked the truck that was available till 3:30 pm (at first) and later they called us that the truck could be returned later on. The staff at Nordel location were good and helpful. When we were returning the truck, we were told that in 3-5 business days we will get $50 credit back to our credit card. So far, we haven't received the $50 yet. Overall, the conclusion, UHaul is a great company that needs to polish its ways of tracking the vehicles.
