I’d like to thank Ashley for her assistance. I reported the thef of my keys and requested a new lock be put on. They were too late doing so, probably my fault. When I picked up my belongings they had been gone through and items missing. When I put my belongings in storage there were no empty or open boxes. When I told the female working there on Monday the 8th, she called me a liar so I left the empty boxes for her. At first the truck that they were attempting to provide me did not have any gas in it (it was EMPTY) and they were going to credit my account with $45; however, I opted out of that because I did not want to begin my use of the truck putting gas in it. The truck that I ended up with smelled of cigarettes and pets. It was also dirty. I did not have the time to wait on another truck. Upon returning the truck I was charged $25 for clean up, which I DO NOT AGREE WITH given I was provided a dirty truck. Then when I go in to rectify my balance they tell me that they have not processed my payment of $226.04 where I can pay the remaining balance instead they want me to pay again. Your system is MESSED up and needs to be updated. I was supposed to receive a call from a person in higher management on Monday (8/8/22) and I still have not heard from anyone from U-Haul to rectify this account. ALL OF THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!! I am truly an unhappy customer. The only good thing with this transaction was Ms. Debra who was very understanding and did all she could to assist me. I can't speak for anything else. JUST HORRIBLE!!!MONICA B.

The staff at the Douglasville, GA Hwy 5 location were exceptional. Specifically, they were professional, courteous, effective, and efficient. The trailer I reserved was available when I pulled into the lot. I will be contacting the manager regarding not being told at the time of looking into and making the decision about the renting the unit that the final month is not prorated. I would have made a better de ion regarding move out. As it turns out I am paying for 3 weeks of rental that I am not using. I think that is bad business and I should be refunded those 3 weeks. We reserved a unit but it had been double booked. They made us pay extra for the climate controlled unit even though we didn’t need one. We asked if they would at least split the cost since we didn’t want the more expensive unit and were told they didn’t have the authority. They were very nice and helpful about everything except this and we have to pay almost $200 a month for a unit with many more features than what was agreed upon at rental time. In my opinion, a confirmed reservation should be the same as a contract and upheld as such. Please try to have a different means of access(where you use your code or uhaul pass) in case the elevators stop working and it’s not an emergency situation.
