This location is on a one way highway. Friendly customer service but would not allow me to park car there. Recommend I park at the business next to them. That is completely unacceptable for a number of reasons. Besides the fact that its on a one way highway and to make that loop is dangerous and takes about 20 minutes, im also paying a dollar a mile for an intown rental and should be able to leave my car there a few hours. Not to mention the fact i could be towed for illegally parking at another business. I will certainly never, ever use the Douglasville U Haul again.

3 and half hours to get a truck rental. Jennifer was good at trying to assist me but when she asked for help from a male co worker (don’t know first name but his last name was Kirkland) he ignored her. This took 3 hours of my move time away. The store manager Holly took care of me as well as a wonderful understanding woman in the customer service department. I had a smaller bad experience before with uhaul about 3 years ago with same location and was told customer service would contact me but never did. I never ask for anything bad in compensation for bad service or experiences but I refund or partial refund would keep me coming back to Uhaul. If there is anything to help improve service for the next customer or myself would be better training for employees and the IT department needs to fix there computers and there cars reader machines.

Service in the rental process was great! The really,really bad thing was the truck. Doors had difficulty closing, interior lights and dashboard lights did not work, the transmission was very rough, all of which made for a difficult day, especially in ATL traffic. Basic systems should work.

Outstanding customer service.....Holly is a rock star. Only issue I had is that the truck leaked really badly and ruined many of my boxes as well as stained my furniture. This is by no means a reflection on the Douglas location. Again, great customer service.

Check out and check back in was quick and easy. All the employees were very friendly and professional. No pressure to buy anything extra. Although I did not need boxes, tape, licks, straps or anything else they had a well stocked store for all those items. Even had a bun for free boxes if you needed some. This location also has a storage facility.

I will NOT recommend the Uhaul to ANYONE!! Look at my account and you will see why! I rented a truck on 6/1/2019 at around 9:18am and returned the truck before close of business on the SAME day!!! Truck was inspected, employee told us our receipt would be emailed to us and to have a great night. However on 6/3 Monday morning I recieved an alarming text about a reservation for 6/1-6/4. Immediately I called and was routed to the call center. They explained that the location does not have the truck marked as returned... this was even more alarming! I then checked my bank and found 2 extra holds on my account and I was livid! We had several failed attempts by myself and the people from the call center of not being able to reach the physical store I rented from. Finally I recieved an email that the truck was marked returned by someone on 6/3 so I went to check my bank. The funds had been refunded but I was very disappointed that no one contacted me to address this issue. Today 6/4 I check my account again and BOOM all 3 hold are back on my account!! I called and spoke with someone at your call center who was very confused herself with all the modifications made to my account. I was persistent in speaking to a manager. She tried explaining to me that I had authorized these charges and that the 2 extra hold are because they did not know the truck had been returned 2 days ago!! Wait excuse me... she referenced your pamphlet #17 under additional terms and conditions. However I followed my end of the contract in that I returned the equipment in my allotted time I was given, fuel was returned full and truck was returned in the same condition it was given to me in. I did authorize Uhaul to take my initial hold as well as go in to receive the extra money if I went over. However I did NOT give Uhaul permission to put a hold on 2 extra days for late fee!!! It is not my fault they did not do their job properly on their end. That store was in chaos when we picked the truck up as well as when we returned it. At the end of the call with your manager I said... so my only option is to sit back and wait up to 10 days for the hold to fall off of my account. Yet no one wants to address that UHAUL made the mistake?!? I am beyond furious!! At this point I would NEVER consider using this company again!!

Have the correct truck at the location. Booked a week in advance and still got ran in circles. The $50.00 guarantee should have been paid twice since 2 locations failed to have the reserved equipment.

The girl at the counter that helped us may have been a new employee. She really did not know what she was doing. The card reader did not work. You could tell the truck just came in from another rental. There were bugs all over the windshield. I had to wash it before we could leave on our trip. When time to pick up the truck in the yard no one came out to show us where it was parked. When someone finally came out they asked if we needed help. then he just pointed to where the truck was sitting instead of walking us to the truck. This may be a service that was not provided.
