Be careful, they can change your reservation from one way to round trip at the time when you pick up the truck giving the reason : that's the only thing we have now if you want ur truck. u have to spend extra time paying extra miles to return the truck during next day. We drove another 9 hours and paid extra 300 miles for their one side changing the contract at the last moment. No explain no refund!Kent W.

The truck was NOT full with gas when I picked it up. I drove 7 miles and was charged for 2 gallons of gas. This was a 10 foot truck, if it's only getting 3.5 miles to the gallon. You may want to put the truck in the shop. I would like to see a credit for the 2 gallons of gas that I did not use. Again i drove only 7 miles.SETH M.

Ms.Eva at the Shreveport Louisiana Downtown Riverfront location was SO sweet, nice, caring and helpful. I had to do an emergency move and she did everything she could to help me. Shes a saint! I will miss her dearly, and the facility was the best location possible and I felt like my things were always safe. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I do feel like it was a little pricey though, and I wish there was a grace period for if when I moved my things out I could get my money back for that month. I moved my things out yesterday, so I basically paid like $150 for only two weeks of storage. Other than that, it was over all a fantastic experience.Kayleigh H. | Overall Experience

I enjoyed having my things in a climate controlled room. I had stored a few boxes at my brothers in his shed in his backpack and it's just got a pull down garage door but my things were in there for only about 2 ½weeks and it looks like 2 ½ years! This states weather makes it almost impossible to have things day in and day out in this humidity and it's moisture mixed together is the perfect conditions for this fungus to flourish! At the same time I wl never, ever, ever use the 247 truck share crap again. Way too much to do on top of what you already have going on that day! The weather was bad, so they really could not clean the vehicle, but they annotated it so we didnt have a problem turning it in.Clinton F.
I sent my husband to pick up the Uhaul after I had made the reservations online. When he got to the location (after it being switched 4 times). The lady didn't go by my reservation and just added what she wanted. My reservation was for 6 something and my husband ended up paying 750 something dollars. When I questioned it on the phone she said it was a â€œ$100 deposit that would be refunded once the uhaul was returnedâ€. There was no such deposit listed on the paperwork my husband returned with and I have received no such deposit since returning the Uhaul. If I didn't have to move in such urgency I would have canceled my truck just based on this lady.BILLY M.

Again, I can't think the customer service enough for being so kind and helpful on the day. Finally, I did not have a physical copy of my license but have a digital one that is state approved. The ladies who helped me were fantastic. They extremely courteous and worked with me to select the best storage unit for my needs. They explained everything clearly and concisely and were obviously well-suited to dealing with people who arrive exhausted and brain dead from a long drive / chaotic move. Uhaul has never failed me. We have not rented a U-haul in 20+ years. Overall, it was an easy and pleasant experience. The 10' truck was clean and well equipped. The staff at the Shreveport location we rented from on Lake St. were helpful and friendly.SCOTT K H.
What started off as a happy and elated experience quickly turned into a disaster becauseof U-haul. I hired movers through your site and the movers did not show up. This caused an extreme delay for me to start my journey. What makes it worse is that no one wanted to take responsibility for the horrible customer service. The company you have representing the movers told me you are responsible for all the EXYRA expenses I incurred. When I spoke to someone at U-haul they said the Movers help was responsible. Needless to say I couldn't reach the company that was responsible for not showing up. It makes me wonder if U-HAUL does any research on the company's you recommend?And why do you recommend companies when you don't back the company's??? We waited inside the store for 20 minutes are the salesman we looked around looks around for him and caught him in the back actually we can smell the marijuana when he was demanded us to get off the property when I mentioned I could smell the marijuana so us being there trying to find him made us late turn it in and we got charged an extra day the UPS man was sitting in there product 10 minutes over there and he said this is ridiculous and got up and left so contacted the manager and was complaining to her and she said how dare you talk about my employee like that I told her I said I feel like that I don't have to pay for one day because I was constantly having to look for him said no ma'am you got paid for 2 days regardless so please respond to this email Sarah Yocum staggs'SARA S.

The only thing , and I should have confirmed this before I left, was to check if they actually had my correct email address so they could email me the receipt. The man asked if email was fine, I said yes but he never confirmed my address, and apparently after not finding one in my records he just sent it to a another account. Also, the truck and trailer were on separate reservations, and only the truck got checked in. Luckily, I noticed this on my account and called the next day and the lady that answered was very polite and helpful and sent me two receipts, one for the truck and one for the trailer.Berri P.

We could NOT get hold of Customer Service. Stayed on hold for a total of over an hour on 2 different calls. Tried going to uhaul.com/help as recording suggested- that site did not recognize our reservation. This was all happening during the 10 hours we had truck. We even paid for the extra protection on truck! The truck kept making a beeping noise - we were trying to report it, but no customer service. We tried the number posted in the truck as well as number on paperwork. Nothing... We told the store rep when we returned the Truck- he just shook his head and said â€œyeah I hear that a lotâ€. The customer in line behind us said she couldn't get thru either. The beeping noise was annoying. I would appreciate a representative call me from UHaul at 405-315-7500.Gary S.
