Appreciate the ability to set up the reservation on line. I tried to return the truck with my mobile device and that was a bit trickyâ€¦it was asking for proof of identify that seemed unnecessary since they have my name in their system from previous reservations. I had a very bad experience with this location , I called this location on thursday evening 06/01/2023 .They said I have to pay 29.99 for rent and $0.99 cents for each mile. I did the reservation with my credit card , when I go there today 06/02/2023. I have top pay $1.19 for each mile , I was in the rush could not do anything then I have to pay extra money for Gas too. My total was $217.00 which we agree to pay and when I see the final receipt I paid almost $270.00 which is not acceptable. You guys totally lied to me, and I am so upset I lost lot of money because of that. i was thinking to open the business account with you guys because I run the moving company in dublin city but not any more . I filled the fuel exactly or even more than I picked it up. I dropped the vehicle and now I am charged 2 gallons! Really. This is my third time I rented Uhaul in the part 3 works and very time I took care it as expected. But this UHaul customer service is unacceptable!Murali V.

1). The gas tank sensor was ON stating that it's open. Unable to tighten, so it took a lot more than normal gasoline. 2). Inside railings were dirty, it stained our furniture.Amir M.

I requested that the pickup location to be be in San ramon ca. When I made the reservation and the lady I talked to guaranteed that the trailer would be there. That was not true. The representative named Juan in San ramon said that happens all of the time. I think it would be better for the customers that travel a long way (800 mi.) To be told the truth. I was worried that I may not get the trailer that was promised to me. It ended up that I had to go to a different location which caused unnecessary stress. Security for RV parking and storage was nonexistent. Gate was malfunctioning and open on several occasions. My RV’s catalytic converter was stolen while stored at the property. No one seemed to want to improve security, just said oh well and moved on even when it has happened multiple times in the past. U-haul sent a letter telling me the rent was going up, but if I came in and paid the old amount before the due date each month, U-haul would charge the old amount. While my husband and I were waiting the assistant manager called U-haul storage internal customer service, who verified that was true. My husband and I went in the end of November, to pay for the month of December early. When she tried to access my account, it would not allow my old payment amount. She called the same U-haul storage business segment and was told that the old price was only extended for as long as the months that were paid. That was not what she was told the month before. She was in the process of trying to find out more information. The manager stepped in and said that there was nothing that could be done. This is while the assistant manager was still on the phone. We explained what had happened and felt that U-haul should support what I was told when I got the letter. He asked, in a snide way, what made me special that I should pay the old amount. He said that he's been there for 10 years. By this time he was yelling. He told the assistant manager to go to the office. I was a v.p. and general manager of 3 bank offices, at the same time and never treated any customer like that, nor would I allow an employee to do so. I used to think U-haul was a reputable company, not anymore. I've moved to a different company. The manager has been there too long. He thinks he's a hammer and everyone else is a nail. How do you resolve anything with a person who doesn't even listen, thinks he has the right to yell and make snide remarks in public. I recently purchased a 5x5 unit, which is located inside a building. The website states that I could have access to it until 10pm Mon-Sun. I tried to drop off some expensive items at 8:30pm on my way to catch a flight home for Christmas. When I arrived, the door to the building where my unit is located was locked. The office was closed. The hours posted for the holiday season dont go into effect until tomorrow. I called customer service to see if someone could unlock the building where my unit was located. I was told they would put me on hold but, instead was disconnected. I called back. The second person told me it's the company's policy that indoor units can only be accessed during office hours. That wasn't the product I purchased. The customer service representative told me it sucks but there's nothing I can do about it. I'm Active Military and only in the area for a short while. I only purchased use of this unit for the time I would be home for the holidays and not in the area. I'm now out $100 and forced to leave thousands of dollars of equipment in my vehicle at an airport parking lot instead of being able to utilize the storage unit I purchased. If the access hours are different for various storage units, that needs to be disclosed before purchase. I paid extra to have the peace of mind of using a well known company vs a smaller, local company to avoid such issues. The lack of information about what I actually purchased and poor customer service have left me very dissatisfied.John C. | Online Move In

Our trailer got ants - the staff didn’t know if pest control was used ever or when the last time was. Debris like nails and other construction material were everywhere.
