I rent a U-Haul every month. This time they were so unorganized that it took an hour and 20 minutes for me to drive out with a truck that was smaller than the one I had reserved. Then when I returned the truck, we waited outside like normal and no one came to check us in. So then I came in and went to the front desk and there was nobody at the front desk. So then I went to what I believe is the managerâ€˜s office and everyone was in there. A very unmotivated employee got up and just started walking outside. So I assumed that he must be checking cars in. I was correct that guy was so rude, and then at the end he goes would you like a receipt and I said yes he shut the truck door and drove offLeon W.

Someone that works for the company opened my storage unit and also took a mirror that was my property. My unit was closed and the unit was opened and was then not able to close and I had to come and move stuff around to reclose it after I had already did so. No improvement needed. The young man that checked me out was awesome! I was having a bad day because we had to rent a U-Haul and move things for the 3rd time in 2 weeks but â€œMan-Manâ€ had a great personality and attitude and even cracked a few jokes - he really lifted our spirits. I need a refund for the dolly. It was not inside the vehicle and I didnt realize this until I made it too McKinney. Phone support said they would adjust it, nothing happened. The receiving person on the parking lot the inside lady needed to adjust it, the inside lady said the parking lot attendant needed to do it. On July 21 2022 I rented a uhaul for July 22 2022 because I was preparing to move to Texas. After I paid and took the uhaul home I didn’t notice any problems until the morning of July 22 2022 on our way to Texas I noticed a marijuana blunt in the uhaul. Which is so dangerous because I don’t use drugs at all and what if I was to get pulled over and got caught with something that wasn’t mines but wait that’s not it I had to drive 6 hours with no air you all did not provide me with a working uhaul it is to hot to be riding with no air I paid almost $400.00. Neither was it clean the windows was very nasty we had to pull over because so much fim from people smoking in the vehicle. No one knew what they were doing. It took 45minutes to 1 hour every time I was there. I call and went to the center 24 hrs before picking up my boxes. Still be charged for boxes that were returned. Set up on auto pay without my permission. I will avoid using u haul when possible.Mark A.

Even though I received help, someone gave my reservations away saying it's first come first serve, what's the point of reservations then? I tried to purchase my truck and I was told I have to pay on debit card instead of cash only to be charge extra since it was a prepaid card(no one mentioned), and since I had no storage I had to go to another location where their computer was malfunctioning and couldn't pay card, but couldn't pay cash because the woman working didn't have a key to the register. Then while I was moving furniture in the truck I finally got, U-Haul calls me and says they accidently gave me someone else's storage unit and by the time I got there, they were closed and I had to buy a lock to keep everything safe overnight in the truck.George A. | First Impressions

Train your outside employees how to hook up equipment. I rented a car dolly along with my uhaul, and as soon as I drove my car on dolly, it lifted straight up off hitch because they didnt hook up correctly. Not only did they not hook up my car dolly correctly, but they were not anywhere to be found to get my equipment, so the lovely lady inside helped me get my uhaul herself. This was the worst experience I have ever had with any company. I have used Uhaul in the past and was completely disappointed this go around. Myself, kids and mom waited in the heat for assistance in a truck you gave us knowing there was an issue prior for 4 hours before being able to start our move. I had to miss a day of work, didn't sleep for 2 days, got locked in my storage facility since I ran late. Missed a movie that I could not cancel in time since my phones were stuck in the car. I still have not been refunded my money either so I'm out of xtra money because of you guys error. And you have the nerve to attempt in blaming me when at the end of it all you admit there was an issue you thought was fixed. And get a key copy to me within 30mins of a friend of mine showing up there for a resolution. Where was that solution 4 hours ago. I have my helpers still waiting for me to pay them double what I offered since they were helping me for 5 extra hours. Aaron was very friendly and helpful but the facility was not clean. There were disgusting mattresses left in the halls near the front and while loading my things I had to walk back and forth passing these filthy items. There was a bag of spilled coffee beans in the hall right after I passed the nasty mattresses. Then there were dead bugs in the halls. It seemed like no one cared to clean up because during my hours moving my things, one or two workers came by and saw the mess and no one bothered to clean up.
