Nothing to complain about. The person who helped me out was named Roger Newhart, I took his card ironically, so I believe this is his name but in any event very well mannered very professional very helpful. He was able to answer every question I had generally just an overall nice guy, Highly recommend. Thank you for making my U-Haul experience pleasurable and very easy. Like I said, Roger and his boss I don’t know his name very nice guys. And very helpful knew everything there was to know about U-Haul.

Wire harness had some damage that would have potentially led to the trailer lights not working, but the amiable staff member quickly "bandaged" the issue before I needed to leave.

Air conditioning works intermittently, 75% of the time I was driving, a/c was not working. I have to open the window every time the a/c stops working. Otherwise, everything went well.

Mirrors moved at will, cup holder spring was broken. Im a trailer Driver for 40 years so no problem for me. A Novice might have had some issues with the mirrors.

I was quoted one price that they took out my account, and days later, they took out $275, stating I didn't return the key.. they claimed they tried to reach me but I checked my call log n they never did. If I can help it I will never use that location again

Jacob, Dan & Gregory were wonderful during my rental experience at the East Brunswick location in New Jersey. Jacob was so respectful & always patient with me as I had multiple questions, prior to confirming the rental. Dan was extremely pleasant & helpful with my specific needs, while I was in the process of using the vehicle. Gregory was very knowledgeable & interested to share my options, as I was extending the rental. These three gentlemen were truly pleasure to work with at U- haul!

The lock for the back rolling door was not unlockable and could thus not be used in transit on the model I used. However the truck handles well and does its job incredibly well.

Service the transmission on the 10’ van I rented. It regularly downshifted quite hard when decelerating to 30 - 20mph speed. Other than that the vehicle worked well; no issues whatsoever.

Overall I had a great experience with my rental except for the fact that the gas guage reading was at 3/8th but my rental record indicated that it was @ 1/2. For the 35 miles I drove, I had to fill 6 gallons of gas which I was not happy with. I am bit disappointed as a customer that this was not right. I hope you give me partial credit for this. Got charged a fueling fee even though I have picture proof and showed the clerk where the gauge was. I stopped by the gas station to put it back to where the gauge was, paid $15. Then got charged another $10, this is outrageous

Not much! Everyone (3 Gentlemen) we encountered were helpful and polite. Our (my sister & I) day went well. The van we rented was a pleasure to use. The AC worked beautifully during this heat wave we are in. Thanks everyone!

Rented a van for several days. The Speed gauge was broken and the plastic was busted out. It was hard to know what speed you are going. Return that and rented a bigger truck. The AC was broken so the whole move from start to finish was miserable especially since it was during a heat wave. Tried to call several times and kept getting put on hold and after 15 minutes hung up. Also had some kind of rattling that was none stop. The headlight was almost out so hard to see at night Staff member was amazing however if your renting things out then it should be roperly inspected.

From the moment I arrived, they took me on time, which was a refreshing start. The entire process was impressively quick, making it incredibly convenient. A special shout-out to Roger Newhardt, who was excellent to deal with. His professionalism and friendly demeanor made the experience even better. Overall, I highly recommend this U-Haul location for any trailer hitch installation needs. Their prompt service, efficiency, and excellent customer care make them a top choice.

Staff was very friendly and it was easy to move in, but somehow the unit I reserved was not even available when I showed up, so I am having to pay about 30 dollars more a month than I would have.

The transmission light came on while we were driving, but other than that, everything went smoothly. Jacob was helpful answering questions when we called and Donavyn helped checked us out and in, making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely come here again.

Representative was cursing during check in. F bombs. Complaining about his associates. Totally unprofessional. Truck smelled like a cigarette ashtray. Really bad. Should not have gone out like that. Due to allergies, I had to try and frebries the whole cab to try and get the smell out. One tire was loosing air pressure. Had to stop 4 times to refill tire. Probably added 15 miles to my drive trying to find air. Truck had less than a 1/4 tank when picked up. Truck should be full. This is a scam to get free gas paid by customer. For these reasons I will not use U haul again.

The manager Jacob was truly amazing he went out of his way to explain things in detail due to myself having a brain Injury. He is the real definition of how a manager takes care of his customers and train his newer employee's. If it wasn’t for the way he knew the proper way to treat his customers and resolve issues with a professional manner as well as a respectful approach. Thank you again for alll your help!

It was fine once we got in but when we arrived with all our belongings, after hours but we'd already rented a unit online, the unit (on the first floor) was locked. No one could help - we had to rent another unit online (this time only available was upstairs) and move our stuff there and then talk to someone the next day to cancel the first unit. No one seemed particularly surprised or apologetic about the experience. So no, it wasn't great and we'll be cautious about renting from Uhaul again.

I got 10 text messages about filling out this survey, 4 of which after I asked the text messages to stop. I even got an 11th text while filling this out. That is insanely annoying and the reason I am giving this a poor rating, no one wants this many texts about a dumb survey.

So far, terrible. We got there and there was a lock on the unit. We'd registered in advance and paid so we arrived after the office was closed but while the facility was still open. UHaul customer service could only suggest renting another unit which we did (so we've now paid for a unit we couldn't access and a second where all our belongings have been stored). We'll call this morning to request a refund on the first unit.

Your staff at the East Brunswick facility have been very helpful. I want to esp. mention Lai. When I lost my gate card, Lai helped with a copy of it. She was always nice and courteous. We also want to thank Kyle and your front people for the attention he and they had given to us. Kyle helped us with pro-rating the charges since we have only used two or three days of the following month. We felt safe at the storage space that we rented. The after - office hours access to the storage has been a tremendous help to us. We want to thank all of U-Haul's friendly staff.

I believe paying a whole month when only 4 days of the month was used in a subsequent month is unjust. It should be prorated or a truck on move out should be discounted. As such, I wouldn’t recommend uhaul’s storage as I know there are facilities that prorate monthly rent upon move out
