Customer service was good. The truck was a real piece of junk. Felt like I was going to die driving it. Need newer fleet.

Nothing to complain about. The person who helped me out was named Roger Newhart, I took his card ironically, so I believe this is his name but in any event very well mannered very professional very helpful. He was able to answer every question I had generally just an overall nice guy, Highly recommend. Thank you for making my U-Haul experience pleasurable and very easy. Like I said, Roger and his boss I don’t know his name very nice guys. And very helpful knew everything there was to know about U-Haul.

PAUL MAir conditioning works intermittently, 75% of the time I was driving, a/c was not working. I have to open the window every time the a/c stops working. Otherwise, everything went well.
PETER MMirrors moved at will, cup holder spring was broken. Im a trailer Driver for 40 years so no problem for me. A Novice might have had some issues with the mirrors.
GARY BDid not walk me out to truck, I had to find it. Did not give me any instruction or walk around truck with me to familiarize with features.

SERENA BJacob, Dan & Gregory were wonderful during my rental experience at the East Brunswick location in New Jersey. Jacob was so respectful & always patient with me as I had multiple questions, prior to confirming the rental. Dan was extremely pleasant & helpful with my specific needs, while I was in the process of using the vehicle. Gregory was very knowledgeable & interested to share my options, as I was extending the rental. These three gentlemen were truly pleasure to work with at U- haul!

Nicholas NService the transmission on the 10’ van I rented. It regularly downshifted quite hard when decelerating to 30 - 20mph speed. Other than that the vehicle worked well; no issues whatsoever.
Thomas SOverall I had a great experience with my rental except for the fact that the gas guage reading was at 3/8th but my rental record indicated that it was @ 1/2. For the 35 miles I drove, I had to fill 6 gallons of gas which I was not happy with. I am bit disappointed as a customer that this was not right. I hope you give me partial credit for this. Ersin YGot charged a fueling fee even though I have picture proof and showed the clerk where the gauge was. I stopped by the gas station to put it back to where the gauge was, paid $15. Then got charged another $10, this is outrageous

Nancy RRented a van for several days. The Speed gauge was broken and the plastic was busted out. It was hard to know what speed you are going. Return that and rented a bigger truck. The AC was broken so the whole move from start to finish was miserable especially since it was during a heat wave. Tried to call several times and kept getting put on hold and after 15 minutes hung up. Also had some kind of rattling that was none stop. The headlight was almost out so hard to see at night Staff member was amazing however if your renting things out then it should be roperly inspected.

RANDOLPH DIt appeared to be when I was picking up the rental, the computer system was having issues. Other than that everything went great. Maybe it's time to update the computers.

Overall, I highly recommend this U-Haul location for any trailer hitch installation needs. Their prompt service, efficiency, and excellent customer care make them a top choice.
DAVID BStaff was very friendly and it was easy to move in, but somehow the unit I reserved was not even available when I showed up, so I am having to pay about 30 dollars more a month than I would have.

Larry LRepresentative was cursing during check in. F bombs. Complaining about his associates. Totally unprofessional. Truck smelled like a cigarette ashtray. Really bad. Should not have gone out like that. Due to allergies, I had to try and frebries the whole cab to try and get the smell out. One tire was loosing air pressure. Had to stop 4 times to refill tire. Probably added 15 miles to my drive trying to find air. Truck had less than a 1/4 tank when picked up. Truck should be full. This is a scam to get free gas paid by customer. For these reasons I will not use U haul again.

No one could help - we had to rent another unit online (this time only available was upstairs) and move our stuff there and then talk to someone the next day to cancel the first unit. No one seemed particularly surprised or apologetic about the experience. So no, it wasn't great and we'll be cautious about renting from Uhaul again.

We'd registered in advance and paid so we arrived after the office was closed but while the facility was still open. UHaul customer service could only suggest renting another unit which we did (so we've now paid for a unit we couldn't access and a second where all our belongings have been stored). We'll call this morning to request a refund on the first unit.

She was always nice and courteous. We also want to thank Kyle and your front people for the attention he and they had given to us. Kyle helped us with pro-rating the charges since we have only used two or three days of the following month. We felt safe at the storage space that we rented. The after - office hours access to the storage has been a tremendous help to us. We want to thank all of U-Haul's friendly staff.

As such, I wouldn’t recommend uhaul’s storage as I know there are facilities that prorate monthly rent upon move out
