The staff that waited on me seemed irritated that I was there asking for a 10X10. She tried dismissing me by saying no 10 x 10 available. I told her my husband was on the way with a uhaul 26 footer truck and we need storage. I told her Rapid City made accommodations for us. Best service friendlies staff at any of the uhuals ive used. I have had to call tbe district managers at other ones. But the staff went out of their way to help and was laughing gaves us options. Never have i been treated so fair and im usually upset writing emails but this time was great. If i could i would of tipped the staff. Morning and Night staff i could not of asked for better. The elevators and hallways are not large enough for some items. I was trying to store a boat (not a large one, but long) and it would not fit in the elevator so it had to be carried up to the third floor. I was supposed to pick it up at 620 Central at 9 am. I was there 30 minutes waiting only to be told it was a different location. So now it was 950 by the time I got to this location. Well guess what my reservation was changed to from 9 am to noon. I was on a schedule that you carried nothing about!!! I needed to be out of town by 11 to beat traffic in cities. Then J was quoted a price of $373 for everything. I was charged $458. And I was told I would get a 10% discount for the mess up which I DID NOT receive. So will I ever rent Uhaul again. Hell no! It was difficult to find my way into the location. Google maps doesn't calculate routes into this location properly, it was sheer luck that I doubled back around the block and found the right road. There are no lights along the driveway, so it is very difficult to see that it even connects to the location.Aaron H.

They accidentally gave the truck meant for me to someone else. The woman at the desk got it cleared up quickly and was very nice. Unfortunately the truck I took was not cleaned and the back had thumb tacks all over the floor, and trash in the door so I dont think it had been cleaned after its previous use, but I dont think it was anyones fault....just a mix up.Rachel M.

I made my reservation a month in advance. When I got there the did not have my car hauler and they had to scramble to find one in town. Additionally they did not have all the blankets out and had to find more. I ended up having to find the right dolly and load it myself since the gentleman could not figure out which one I reserved. Lastly, the truck had almost a quarter tank less fuel than they put on my contract and I ended up having to eat the cost for the difference. Plus the windshield was so dirty I had to pull over at the closest gas station to clean it because I could no see out of it.William Zachary B.

I reserved a 10×20 storage unit to hold the contents of my home while renovating. After 6 hours of loading a 26 ft uhaul, I arrived at the storage place to retrieve my RESERVED 10×20 unit. I was informed that they don't have 10×20 units (contrary to their website which let me reserve on FROM THEM) and that I'd have to take a 10×15. At 4 p.m. on a Saturday with a 26 ft truck containing my entire life outside, I had no other choice but to take it. Big mistake. After 6 more hours of unloading (to the second floor, no less), I realized that I would have a to find somewhere to unload the remaining contents that would not fit...but would have if the unit was the correct size...at 10 pm on a Saturday night...when the uhual was due back. National number is a pain with long waits.if you have a question you have to drive to the local dealer to ask it. Easier. I had two questions. One I thought I left an item in the truck.
