I far prefer dealing with the facility directly. The call center seemed only interested in getting me to to commit to renting more stuff and reserving stuff. I was physically assualted/threatened by a young man and verbally assualted and threatened by his mother, both of whom rent storage at this facility. It took place on 4/10/21 from 4:10 to 4:30 pm. Two employees appeared during the incident (after the young man threatened me with a closed fist and his mother threatened to have him hit me) and successfully convinced them to move away from me. My daughter witnessed the incident and an older man was also trying to restrain the lady and who I presume to be her son.Patrick O.

Didn't have all the equipment that I needed, and I had to argue to get alternative (a little). Vehicle had damage that had not been updated so just make sure that you check yourself thoroughly and point it out to employees before you move the vehicle. They put stickers where the damage is to show they know it happened before your rented it. DO NOT USE THE ONLINE SELF-SERVICE OPTION - IT DOES NOT SAVE YOU TIME - YOU STILL HAVE TO GO IN AND WAIT. The front was clean enough but smelled like cigarettes (no surprise - it's a u-haul but maybe corporate should do a cost to benefit study to see if it's worth it to get these guys febreze or something so it's more pleasant to be in the front). On the good side, vehicle ran well enough for a u-haul. It was clean in the back. The senior guy/manager was quick and efficient and offered good options. He needs better help to make this place run better. They offer alot but seems like not enough good employees to run as well as they could. I don't know about other locations, but this one is pretty busy any time I come. Needs more people and ones that know what they are doing. Despite the negatives, I'd recommend only because I still got what I needed in the end, despite waiting and a little haggling. This place needs better staffing though and up their game with having enough equipment to rent if they want to compete better and have people go out of their way to come to this one.Alexander M.

The sales person that was there was horrible extra mean! Didn't show me where the truck was..... he was very rude! The person that's work there! Didn't help me at all I came in the uhaul trying to ask where is the truck he didn't show me where the truck was he didn't come outside with me to check the truck instead he was rude telling me to find the truck myself very very mean and rude! Trailer wheels lug nuts were not tight all 4 wheels. One wheel was working its way off the axle. Lost 1 lug nut, had to take the car off the trailer and put the wheel back on completely and tighten it down, then reload the trailer. All on the side of the highway.Paul K.

I ordered the dozen furniture pads and didn't receive them. I was, however, transferred to an alternate location where I had to go get the truck, so maybe there was a mix up there. There was no way to report the missing items in the current reservation section on the app or site. I hope I didn't have to pay for those furniture pads, gonna go check! We needed to rent a vehicle to fit a ride on lawnmower. We were offered a large box truck with a ramp based on the associate's recommendation. It didn't work. We immediately went back and were then offered a pickup truck and a trailer which worked perfectly by another associate. Tried to return the rental unit using the app, but the app wouldn't upload the photos so I couldn't finish the return process. While the trailer was clean, it was painted with graffiti. I was also disappointed that while I had reserved a trailer for pickup in the Newark, NJ area, I was informed the day before my pickup date that I would have to travel to Pennsylvania to obtain a trailer. The app to check in your vehicle at the end is shit. I was sitting on my phone for more than 30 minutes with the pamphlet trying to figure out how to check out. Couldn't. Sobi dropped the keys in the drop box, now I'm getting charged 20$ extra for an after hours fee. I'm very upset with this service. I was disappointed with the storage I reserved a 10x10 storage unit online but when I got there the storage was unavailable due to a leak and all they had was the largest storage unit available at $279 a month I was offered the choice of going to a different facility which I did not want to drive to they did give me the first month's rent free but I was still disappointed because I will have to come out my pockets double the amount I wanted to do. They will be able to turn around and rent those spaces now, essentially being double paid for them. Last, the employees never seemed to know how to work the computer and made lots of mistakes.
