Jean R.I returned the truck,the office was closed. I put the keys as I was informed and I parked the truck in front of the office. Next day, in the morning I received a call from the company accusing me that the keys were not there in the box and the truck wasn't there. I was mistreated, like a criminal. I called the store to talk to the manager, but it was her day off. So absolutely nobody in the store can verify the cameras if the manager is not present. This must change in the future, the company should leave someone in the store who can handle unexpected situations. As a customer I was mistreated, I almost had a heart attack, because they were sure that I stole the truck. The horrible end of this story, they found the truck and the keys. A worker took them earlier, but the company system is so disorganized, that nobody knows where the keys are, and the customers are the ones who suffer the abuse of incompetent workers without any training. The company has to train the personnel. After all this ordeal, I deserve something to pass this inconvenience.I am sure I won't come back to this place again. Nobody apologizes It is poor customer service, managers need more training and they have to have another assistant manager. Please improve this and modernize this dated 3rd world service. Xev G.my original pickup was at Derby on route 27- for the 24/7 pickup- experience was terrible- after about an hour when I was finally able to open the lock box there was NO KEY inside. Customer service was great, but told me I would have to go to the route 1 location. Since I had been dropped off, and now would need a ride, I lost another hour of my rental. However, when I finally got to the route 1 UHaul, the manager in charge was excellent- courteous, professional, quick, and efficient. I would never do the 24/7 thing again, but would absolutely go back to the U-Haul Moving & Storage of Edison, 110 US Hwy 1 Edison, NJ 08817

Rob D.The Edison site, and Uhaul as a whole, really needs to improve its Ubox service and customer communication. We scheduled an unload at the facility for 1pm on a Thursday and rearranged our schedules and got moving help all ready. But when we arrived, the box was not ready; the Uhaul scheduler had apparently nonsensically put 1am as the unload time, and the site personnel received no notice to prepare my box. I was told to come back the net day and so scheduled another unload at 10am Friday. This reschedule was made with the personnel onsite, so there was no chance for communication failure (I thought). They wrote down my box number, the time, and put the information in an area where they would see it that evening and the next morning. Well, I rearranged my schedule and moving help for the next morning, but, when I got there at 10am, my box still wasn't ready. Actually, the site had pulled the wrong box! I was eventually told that my real box was in the back of the warehouse and could not be available for another few hours. Meanwhile, two of the Uhaul workers got into an angry, open conflict in front of me, with one apparently refusing to help me and the other eventually giving up and telling me, "I don't know what to say to you." The situation was only salvaged by another worker named Tracy who told me that he would start getting my box out and would call and let me know when I and my group could come back. He was also kind enough to text me a picture of the box and its label so that I knew that it was the right box. So only after driving to the location for the third time and having my help drive to Uhaul for the third time was I able to access my box. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed with the experience and can't say that I would ever want to use Uhaul or Ubox again. Though I receive many apologies, I did not receive any real compensation for my trouble or wasted time.

If the delivery is getting delayed, then kindly contact the customer beforehand to let them know so that they can plan their movers accordingly. I was told that my Ubox will be delivered on 06/13/22. Someone will call me on 06/12/22 to confirm the delivery. But this didn't happen. When I called on 06/13/22 to ask for delivery status, I was told that my Ubox will be delivered late with no estimated date. I had my movers scheduled for 06/13/22. Since I didn't get any notice regarding the delay of my Ubox container, I had to cancel them last minute for which I had to pay them.

Jisette D.They lied to me, said it had 1/4 tank of gas it didn't. It had an 1/8. I had to pay $19 when I returned the truck to pay for gas that was not there. They said truck had 8220 miles. It did not, it had 8200. Be careful of this place. They rip you off.
