I asked for water and he directed me to the nasty water on the fountain. The truck was fine but Austin was very unprofessional. I believe that’s his name that helped me. Please coach him to do his job better. Very bad experience with him

Azmi BHad to search for truck. No attendant present and on found truck as driver door was open and truck was running in the middle of large parking lot! Muddy on each side. Truck had horrible loud rattle in door. Louder than my phone GPS. Truck had over 100k miles and looked it! Nice advertisement.. very small driver side as I could barely fit my legs in with seat all the way back. And of course I had to sit leaning forward because seat was all the way back to get some legroom! Very uncomfortable! Also airbag service light was on. Not safe! You rent junk and I paid $100 for this piece of shit. Goodbye!
TIMOTHY CThe facility is nice, moving in my unit was easy. Upon moving out, I felt that the customer service was poor. I emptied my unit and immediately went to the office to let them know, but nobody was in there. Every single staff member was outside, leaving the desk unmanned.
Heidi L | Overall ExperienceI arrived at the store and first there were no blankets or dollies available. The manager told me that it was nothing they could do about that. I could purchase it if I needed it so no help there. Then I received a truck went all the way to my location, which was not close to the location and the door would not open I contacted the manager of the store and was told my options was to wait hours for a roadside assistance or bring it back myself because they had no one to come in exchange it. I went back and changed trucks. The next truck I received the transmission was going out and it didn’t want to drive pass 40 miles and hour it was dirty on the inside and it was almost empty of gas. I was told by the clerk they would change the time, mileage and gas in the system and they did not. When I brought it back I was charged for gas even though I put gas in it again when I drought it back and charged me a extra day because they never changed the time and mileage. I would recommend this place to an my enemy.

BARBARA HThe last 2 times I've used UHAUL, making an online reservation, I get there and they don't have available the things I've reserved. Surely uhaul must know how stressful moving is?? And to not have the equipment you need is terrible. It's my understanding from staff that the inventory system does not link to the reservation system?? What the heck! So rather than making a RESERVATION, customers are really just indicating an interest in an item, and when you get there those items may or may not be there. Is that how it works? SAUNDRA WMy rental agreement was not right when I left Edmond. I was assigned a trailer in the store, but switched when we got out to the lot to hook up. It caused some problems and delays when I checked it in at our final destination.

DANNY CJust about everything was great. We did have one minor problem on the road though. The driver side wiper failed on the first need to use it on our long trip from the mid-west to the northeast. We had to pull over in the breakdown lane to refasten the wiper blade and then buy a yoyo and use that string to secure the blade for the remainder of the trip. The wipers are super important in a rainstorm for sure and pulling over in the breakdown lane on the interstate is scary with all of the semis passing at 80 mph. Not sure if routine maintenance is lax, overall UHAUL policy needs a look see or an individual at the location just forgot to check the wipers. Not a problem for most local rentals, but across 7 states for 6 days, you are bound to get some rain somewhere along the way. Imagine in a snow storm! Safety is paramount and pre-trip inspections for safety are key. Disappointed about the wiper blade, but of course do understand if one individual just forgot to check. Hopefully it was only that and rarely happens.
TIMOTHY NThat they charged for insurance when I was late even though u can get uhaul for 24 same rate called me told me it was not covered under insurance but proceed to charge me for extra day and insurance . I will in future just reserve for 24hrs no matter if I'm only using 1 hr. That's not taking care of customer.

CHRISTOPER DIt would be nice if trailers that are allowed to be taken cross country have the wheels routinely balanced. I almost stopped midway on my trip to have an independent tire shop take care of it if I couldn't find a U-Haul location that had a balancer.
AARON BUnfortunately we experienced a flat tire on the trailer. Thankfully it happened in our driveway. The repair service was estimated to arrive in an hour but arrived earlier and made the change out quickly.

JODIE TThe app to pickup my rental froze and would not allow me to continue. I had to go inside for help but the employee trying to help me had to stop and keep asking another employee how to proceed. It took an hour to complete my pickup but they didn’t credit me an hour for return. They also didn’t inform me of how much cheaper it could have been to return to the same location since I was just moving 20 minutes away. I had instead opted to return to a different location and ended up doubling my final bill because of that.

KEITH BOk, since you asked: I was getting contradictory confirmation that the van was checked in (090625 0857 (checked out) 1144 (checked in)). Plus, at the counter right in front of me they stated before I left it wasn't checked-in (oh yes they did). When I called ot was confirmed by a young lady (whom the manager stated maybe she was looking at the wrong account). I give her kudos for telling the truth- period. Plus, the app is also, not recording the correct information especially in my past reservations. Then it states, "Order again" with the correct information of the past rental- how odd? FTR: I recorded and took pictures of the van- plus the mileage and a full tank of gas. My instincts were correct- when I walked in about this particular location. It wasn't a great experience.

nancy v | Overall ExperienceDuring my recent visit, the location manager, Nathan French, referred to me as “belligerent” in front of a sales representative named John. I attempted to address this unprofessional behavior by calmly asking him to spell the word. Rather than responding appropriately, Mr. French told me to “Google it.” For the sake of accurate documentation, I then asked Siri and also requested that John spell it. This interaction was deeply disappointing and by far the most unprofessional treatment I’ve encountered at this location. Additionally, I was previously charged for services that were never rendered, further compounding my frustration and dissatisfaction.

The building in the parking lot is in such a terrible state, the parking lot has random vehicles in state of repair, the parking lot has pot holes and accessing the code panel is not convenient - nightmare. Very dodgy indeed and we did not live in. Unit had a terrible smell and ceiling damage and rodent droppings. The location did not feel safe for us to be there after sunset.

We went to the front and asked and we were told that it’s ok it happened and it would stop in about 15 seconds. We did not know that we should have a swipe card and need to swipe in every time we go in. The staff is great it would just be better if we would have been told everything first. It would be better if the instructions were in the online check in.

ON THE APP IT SAID RENTAL OF TRUCK WAS GOING TO BE 18?.??; but when I was having issue with app and called customer service they said it would be same cost as app. We used credit card and when the statement came in it was $300. I called to get it resolved, but they said that the call recording didn't confirm my statement. If they'd fix their damned app and get everything straight, then maybe they'd get a good rating. But until then he'll no!! I got screwed out of money and they believe they're in the right. Guess that's how they run business. Not for me ever again!!!

Tamera A | First ImpressionsWhen I rented the unit and was given the "max" card, the employee took me to where you use your card to turn off the alarm to your unit and showed me how to swipe the card but it didn't work as the computer probably hasn't had time to activate it yet. While doing that, I noticed the hours of operation were till 10pm. I asked the employee if we could access it after hours and he had told me yes, it was 24/7 access now that they had the security system. I felt relieved as my help wouldn't be available till about 4am. So we drive to the unit and looked all over to find a machine that would swipe out card and once found, I swiped it but the screen said to call office and it wouldn't give me access. When looking at the sign close to the card machine, it said that there wasn't access to your units until 5am. I was so tired from driving 6 hours etc that I got furious. Why would the employer tell me I could get in my unit any time with my card then I show up exhausted at 415am or so to hare to wait another 45mins to get in my unit. I spoke with the employee later that day and he said he didn't say that but I have 2 witness, 1 with me and 1 on the phone that heard him say it too. I was not happy. Then, I turn in the truck I rented on time and go home and was notified by my phone I had a $63 additional charge on my card I did not authorize. $33 for going over mileage that I did not know I had a limit as it was an out of state one way rental and a $25 cleaning fee as there was something green on the inside of the cargo area that was absolutely not caused by me. I own nothing green, has no green paint or stain to have caused that plus I moved the same load of belongings in a chair from that location to where I came back from with no green anything again and there was bo charge for cleaning due to something green being inside the cargo area. I called you to explain that I was never told I had a mileage limit going to the out of state town nor told I had a limit coming back from that out of state town. The cleaning fee isn't even debatable. I've ran over $1000 through your locations within a month and a half and feel I've paid you well what it was worth. Therefore I'm disputing the $63 unauthorized charge with my.bank if you won't credit me that back and you guys can work that out. To that end, I will never seek out rental equipment, vehicles or storage from you again and will never recommend you to anyone as I feel I was treated unfairly and charged an amount behind my back that is not justified. I was supposed to be contacted this morning from a regional supervisor regarding this matter but that time has come and gone. Thank you for reading. 1
